Tonight was a good one, I needed a product and when I couldn't find someone in the department I needed, a gentleman in a different department helped me out and ended up giving me the pieces I needed. Literally walked in to customer service, lady with the glasses was rude from the start. Explained I am here to exchange garage openers my realtor purchased due to the new house not having any, she interrupted and said "we don't do exchanges". Asked if I could return, she pulled up receipt, instantly complained "it's not from this store, it's a different Lowe's". Informed her they were not used due to system not compatible with these. She said a certain amount would go back to a card, asked for store credit and said "we don't do store credit"....... I asked simply "what can you do", her response was "we don't do exchange or store credit". I literally explained the situation in black and white, she didn't get it or was willing to find a solution. Very rude customer service, I went to get parts for plumbing issues, rang bell for assistance twice, a gentleman came to assist, did not have no knowledge of plumbing. Later that day my wife went to get other plumbing parts, rang bell 3 times, no one came to help. I called and spoke with an employee called Carlos which supposedly was the manager of the store, I tried to explain the issue but kept cutting me off saying he would get some one to go help, never allowed me to explain, I told him he was rude and the customer service was very unprofessional he continued to cut me off and say he never heard anyone ask for assistance, which was basically calling me a liar. This store only implements self checkout regardless of the fact they have numerous employees standing around in different sections gossiping and laughing. It must be great to have a job where you really don't have to work. I do not work for this large, money making chain so I do not expect to check myself out I left my full basket at the self checkout area and walked out. I looked at the lines and they were long because of all the problems people were experiencing in checking themselves out. Shame on these box chains for their poor service. Thank goodness for Amazon. August 2024 we had a sliding glass door installed. A month later it is still not complete. The Lowe's associates have been nothing but wonderful, it's their third party contractor that has been the failure. Premier Services group had FOUR no-call/ no-show, scheduled visits to our home. We have had spring rain storms with significant rain fall and my exterior threshold has been open and bare, you can see through to the crawl space. They placed a piece of duct tape to "protect" it. Came out again today, brought the wrong size of metal to complete threshold, won't come back for three more day to hopefully complete it. Very disappointing as the first contractor who actually put the door in was fantastic and the project looked great. Has been nothing but down hill from there. read more

It all started with a simple rebate. I was guaranteed one and not a single employee or manager knew how to execute. But it ended in my being literally attacked by an employee who was not even involved. I do not expect to spend 1k on an appliance and while figuring out the rebate issue with an employee have some other head clerk checker not even related to the issue in any way attack and bully me! I wish I could give Lowe's Fountain a higher rating especially since this is my closest store. The people are friendly and helpful. The lighting department needs to have a larger and more updated selection. Same with the decor and tile departments. I know that some people like the gray color but it is out of style. I'm a member of Lowe's for Pros. Yesterday, I simply went in Fountain, CO, Lowe's to get mulch for a small job. They had red mulch on sale according to the website. $2 reduced from $3 98. After finding out they physically had plenty of the mulch, I tried to do an online order for pick up. The app would not let me select the pick up option. My 20 bags of mulch became $40 plus $79 delivery. A wonderful employee got me a cart and said he could make things work, so we loaded up 20 bags of mulch. The cashier couldn't make the computer adjust the price. I asked another employee. No help. She said the sale ended yesterday. I show her my phone with the sale end date as today. She told me to ask the department manager. The manager also said she couldn't do anything. I was only able to do a delivery order. All the while, the department manager couldn't take the time to stop sweeping the floor to actually talk to me. I called Lowe's customer service. Hold time was up to an hour. They called me back and I get the same answer - no one at the store has authorization to change prices. Why does every other store give employees and/or managers the ability to change prices? Why would the cashier or the person who helped me load the carts tell me they could try to get that $2 price when clearly it was never going to happen? Only the management knows the pricing policies? So I'm standing in the store looking at the product I want that's already at the checkout and I can't buy it at the price it is advertised for online. I've wasted over an hour. Maybe this happens all the time to folks, but it's not a fair way to treat customers in my opinion. It's misleading and frustrating. I walked out. read more

I would give zero or negative stars if I could. This store's customer service was fine, but they were not even told that the order was shipping to them. We bought a fridge for approximately $1,500. After our purchase, and while the charges are pending we got an email saying it was delayed. The email did not say that we had to confirm it again. I also had to agree to drive 45 minutes to the fountain Lowe's to pick it up because, despite advertising delivery they wouldn't deliver, and they wouldn't send it to either Pueblo store near us. But we needed the fridge so we agreed. Lowes sent 2 pending charges for approximately $1,500 to my account which activated my overdraft protection for $1,100 because i kept enough in the account for the fridge and $400 not two fridges. Then both charges dropped off. After consulting the website it said we had to confirm thst we were ok with the delay. Thinking the charge dropped because it was canceled we contacted someone online at Lowe's through online char. The online rep said that he didn't know why the website said that, but we don't need to confirm. He confirmed that the order was not delayed and told my wife they refunded the money and would bill when it ships. I got two more pending charges to my account a few days later. The item was still not ready and now I had $40 in overdraft fees because of all of the pending charges they out through. I called Lowe's and sat on hold for over an hour and a half and when I chose the call back option the first time it said it was unavailable. I got ahold of someone at corporate today, 04/06/2022. She was rude and condescending. She told me that hey didnt charge but just did a "prior authorization that gives s pending charge to make sure there is money in the account. She refused to accept that I was charged fees as a result. I also had about $400 that was tied up for about 2 weeks now because of the 4 "prior authorizations" to my account. When I made the purchase it never mentioned numerous "prior authorizations that would temporarily bill to my account. They told me I had to dispute the charge with the bank, so i did. She confirmed my order was still pending, no more prior auths would charge, and it would charge officially when it shipped to the store. Before i disputed the fees, we got an email telling us it was canceled. Waited over an hour for another call back from corporate to find out that we actually did have to confirm the order with the delay so the order was automatically canceled even though we spoke to a rep who told us we didn't have to confirm and the rep at the store and at corporate told us it was still pending and never mentioned it. I am left with losing the use of about $1,900 total for about 2 weeks now, I got charged $40 in fees by the bank (I am disputing with no guarantee of getting it back), spent hours dealing with bank and Lowe's customer service, and I don't have a fridge. I used to be a frequent shopper of Lowe's, but I will never purchase anything there again! read more

Purchased a refrigerator from this store. The first one they delivered leaked on my hardwood floors and a couple days later the floor started to warp and separate. They couldn't figure it out so they sent a new one. Same problem. The delivery drivers finally fixed it but scraped and scratched up the same floor. A claim to fix it was sent in. After numerous attempts to see what was happening with the claim, I kept getting the run a round. They said that the claim was still showing "Pending". I have purchased enough items from this Lowes to remodel three houses or more! The employees in the paint department are very helpful and really want you to be pleased with the color you purchase or are trying to match. I loved the laminate wood floor I purchased a few years back; great quality and price. I wasn't thrilled with the cabinet design team at this location. I went to the location off Powers for my last remodel even though this location was closer. You'll find knowledgable, patient, helpful employees in all the departments which is a good thing because I've had to put them on the phone with my husband several times when he has sent me there to find a specific tool/item that I know nothing about. My only disappointment has been my carpet purchase. I thought I was buying a higher grade of carpet by the way they advertised it, but after six months it was already wearing down and look horrible. After many phone calls complaining and asking them to help me somehow, they refused. I received no customer service before I purchased the carpet like I would have if I had bought it from a carpet store. I'll never buy carpet from them again. I prefer Lowes over Home Depot every time. read more

This is the worst home improvement buying experience that I have ever had. I ordered 30 boxes of flooring and 2 transition pieces. The first time the order came in, 4 boxes of the flooring were damaged and the transition pieces were missing so I had to return and reorder. No big deal right? Wrong. The next order of boxes NEVER came in. Because whoever ordered it and charged me for it did that wrong somehow. At least the transition pieces came in at that time. So I "return" the 4 boxes that never arrived ask the associate to put the money back on my card specifically and she does not. They send me a gift card instead (which I still haven't received) . I reorder the 4 boxes again and then when they come in another week later, one of the boxes are damaged. Now at this point I think it's just the employees who don't really know how to make returns or work the systems properly, but as I try to return the box of broken flooring, I talk to the manager named Mike and I realize the real problem is the management. Mike picks up the broken flooring, looks me in the eyes and tells me that the broken $65 box of flooring will look like that when we install it anyway.... We had installed over 500sq ft of this flooring in our home already and NONE of the flooring looked broken. I told him that I did not want to keep it and that I was going to return it, so as I'm returning it, he tells me that the flooring was not purchased on the credit card that I know it was purchased on. I ask him to check again and he finally finds it. Ridiculous. Awful service. read more

I use the Loews in Fountain, CO. but my Fountain Loew's didn't have the soil I required but Loew's store on Constitution did. They're the ones that got everything wrong, as well as Loew's 800 numbers. I.ordered one 60-bag pallet of organic top soil and one 60-bag pallet of organic cow manure. Instead, they sent One $2.00ish Bag of cow manure and charged $15 for the delivery. Several calls later, to various parties, they finally found our order and promised delivery from 0830-2030 yesterday. THEY NEVER CAME. We went to bed at 2200, waiting all day. We told them this morning we'd be gone all day. They said their "Fulfillment Center" would call us within 24 hours to arrange delivery. Instead, they delivered both pallets when we were not home and almost 50 feet from where we wanted the drop--which will necessitate my walking 120 bags 50 additional feet each to get them to our backyard, each bag weighing 26-30 lbs. A third party (like Grub Hub, they said) does all of Lowe's deliveries and there's no way for them to contact us or we them, or get a normal window and ETA of when they're coming and that we'll be home. We were in an endless loop of calling and general incompetence, were nickel and dimed so Loew's could make some profit from alleged service, using independent contactors rather than their own reliable people and trucks. We talked to at least half a dozen different parties at Loew's, 10 or 12 calls: phone tag. Next time we'll use The Home Depot. read more

I don't plan on ever spending another dime at lowes. I purchased all appliances for kitchen and washer/dryer. Appliances were Samsung. Letter camer off of microwave, lowes wouldn't do anything about it and Samsung wouldn't cover it. Washer and dryer was ordered back in March of 2022, Samsung had them on back order, finally came in June 2022, set up delivery and was given a window of 4hrs 11am-3pm called store at 230ish was told that it was still out for delivery, called back at 3:45 was told that the delivery was cancelled. I called store and they had no answer and the manager was to busy to talk to me. Was given another best option and that was to cancel order and get them somewhere else.
