I made the mistake of having lowes deliver a washer dryer to my house. They ripped the storm door out of its base and the came back put a door puller on to replace the one they ripped out and told me its fixed. I've had many bad experiences at Lowes. Honestly try to go anywhere else but sometimes I need to. Maybe this is normal procedure but my husband injured his shoulder. I needed 12 more bags of pea gravel for fire pit so I decide to do a pick up. I'm not very familiar with their pick up process, but I imagine it's easier than going in to shop, right? Wrong. Get pick up ready notification. Go to store, park in curbside spot. Have no signal so go inside to see customer service. We're sent to gardening. Go back in car and drive down. Park car and go inside to find out order is NOT ready. We're sent outside to find a flat bed cart. Weird, but ok. Husband finds one and goes back in. Eventually he comes out and we load car. I find out he had to load up the cart himself. Guy got a call and walked away. Um what was the point of doing a "pick up"? Would have been easier to park once, get a cart on the way in, load, pay and leave. I was very confused. We spent more time between ordering online, waiting for it to be "ready", going in and the out the store several times, just to end up shopping ourselves. I could have been better prepared too instead of my husband injuring himself further. Is this normal?! Is it just this store? No store has ever made me shop when I've done a pick up. Some stores even load the car, but I always get out to help. I don't know their process but I don't plan on making this mistake twice. read more

The recent pandemic ruined a lot of people work ethics. Not many of them are back to work forces, as a result Lowes hires accidental employees who don't belong there. I didn't get taken care of my last visit to their lumber department. Two different workers a couple days apart Kyle and Gale promised to custom cut five OSB subfloor boards for me and plus delivery. They took my drawings twice with explanation about dimensions and side ( groove or tongue) to cut. Eventually Gale cancelled my order and left me a message about the refund that I didn't ask for. It would never happen in moms and paps private business. I am going shopping to Palmerton lumber yard and my friend will cut the boards for me. read more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Purchased 2 sets of sliding glass doors that was missing a piece, so I wasnt able to open, in APRIL. Still waiting, and no one calls back. The management in this store should be fired. Once you make the purchase, they couldn't care less. You are just a number. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Doing major renovations to my house, including a new kitchen, adding a new bathroom, and updating an existing bathroom. I made the mistake of utilizing Lowes for a lot of this. Unfortunately, we bought about $38,000 worth of Kraft made kitchen cabinets. The quality of the cabinets are terrible. There is glue everywhere and is easily seen, deep marks on the inside of all 4 corners of each door that looks like staple marks, black marks on outside corners that doesn't combroken cabinet delivered and the hot replacement which was also broken - terrible lack of packing protection for a $2,000 cabinet. I understand that that is not Lowes's fault. However, they take no responsibility and when I asked to speak with the manager, they put me on hold for 25 minutes repeatedly and hang up on me repeatedly. In addition, I purchased countertops through Lowe's via Topline company and that has been nothing but problems. Started off with human error at Lowe's resulting in delay for counter company to come out and template. Then after the template they sent me a change order. I signed it and then two weeks goes by and Topline calls me asking if we are still interested in doing the countertop. I'm like yes I signed it on the day it was sent to me 2.5 weeks ago. They say no we didn't get anything. So then I called the IME department at Lowe's and they say they have the wrong email address for me. However, I said that I signed it. They resend it to me to sign and it says I've already signed it. I called back, and they say yes you signed it 2.5 weeks ago just wait and Topline will call you to schedule delivery. I explain to them again that Topline says no they don't have it. They put me on hold for about 20 minutes as they call Topline and guess what find out - they didn't get it. Nobody knows why Nobody seems to care that I have lost over two weeks without a counter when it takes about five weeks to get a new counter. The bottom line is nobody seems to care or know what's going on at Lowe's. The only time anything ever happens is when I have my contractors try to do some of the interactions. Also made the mistake of ordering my appliance package for my Kitchen and waited over two months, and then the day before they're scheduled to deliver I find out that the refrigerator and microwave is on back ordered another 6 weeks. I prefer Home Depot but since we have only a Lowe's here in Lehighton I'm stuck. Where to start! Their garden department is a disgrace. Everything is half dead, or all dead. And still full price. They are overpriced. A quart of white High gloss paint is $24.97 at Lowe's, same thing different brand $14.99 at Walmart. I recently bought a gallon of white high gloss from them. All they had was the kind with the primer which I took because I needed the room painted before furniture was delivered. Worst paint ever. I bought a brush for high gloss paint, still had brush marks. Put on 2 coats, still blotchy spots. Fortunately I was able to return the paint for a refund. Th lady in the paint department is very nice, and helpful. I think most of the employees try to do their best in a thankless job. One cashier, self checkout closed. ??? When returning my paint there were 3 clerks, all on the phone, and 4 people in line. The one girl finally hung up, and just walked away. ??? Don't be in a hurry. read more

This is what I just left on Lowes Facebook The WORST experience ever! I purchased a full appliance package (stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher). The first day of scheduled delivery NEVER happened. I had to call them to find out what was going on. The brand new stove I was sold, was sold to someone else. I was then told they would give me their BEST floor model. After using PTO from work for my delivery. That delivery didn't happen either... because my driveway "wasn't cleared enough for them". So here we go calling (oh, that's a joke because they never answer) to tell them I'm at the point of just asking a friend to have me pick them up. They tell they would be delivered the next day. The next day comes and I get a call that they are at my house "but the trees are in the way". I'm sorry, what? At this point I'm super frustrated with their horrible customer service and being treated like a purchased a vacuum, so I tell them just bring them back to the store. I call my mother-in-law who is at my house to tell her they aren't delivering, to hear they were backed into my driveway and walking to the door. Great news! Right? Wrong! They literally delivered all of my appliances to my living room. Refused to take the stove we paid for them to take away and didn't hook up the new refrigerator. When calling Lowe's in Lehighton PA the girl in appliances makes a stink about having a new water line for them to use to hook up the fridge. Don't expect to get help here. We had questions in some bathroom products, like showers etc. one man said "sorry, I'm in the electrical dept". So no help there. I ordered a washing machine that was delivered last week. The washer turned out to be too big, so I canceled the order. It's sitting in my dining room, blocking egress from my 95-year old mother-in-law's room. She's bed bound and has dementia. While we can get past the washer, emergency medical crews would not be able to. Lowe's promised to pick it up last Saturday. I canceled plans and waited all day. They never showed up. Then they promised to be here Tuesday. Same thing happened. They then promised to pick it up today. Again, Lowe's is a no-show. Lowe's is looking at a lawsuit. read more

The people who work here need a major attitude adjustment. Customer service is absolutely horrible, and everyone who works here obviously hates their job. Or at least that's the vibe that you get as soon as you ask for help, or even upon checking out. Don't get me wrong, there are some nice staff that you come across, but they are far in few. Me and my husband were looking at wood to build a new headboard, so we asked an associate which wood would go well with the project we wanted to do. Wow, what a mistake that was. The woman (who seemed irritated she had to get up off her chair) looked at us, rolled her eyes and said "it's not my house, not my project." That was it, and it was so rude the way she said it that I still can't get over it. That was a few months back. I recently went again in the gardening section, and upon checking out, there she was manning the cash register. Same old nasty attitude, and was so cocky with my mom because my mom accidentally inserted the wrong PIN number into the debit card machine. I made sure to look at her name tag this time so if Lowe's wants to contact me, I'll gladly tell them who it was. I have to say all of my experiences at Lowe's have been wonderful. I have never had any troubles finding help when needed. About a year and a half ago I came home one night only to smell something hot and checked through my house to realize it was coming from my refrigerator which was very hot to the touch. I unplugged my fridge got in my car and headed to the local Lowe's. As soon as I got to that department I had an associate from that department ask me if I needed help. I explained my situation and asked if I could have one delivered ASAP. I picked out my fridge made the purchase and she sent in a request to have it delivered by the next day. Not only did I receive it the next day but it was there earlier than she thought it could be. I have made multiple purchases in the different departments and all in all always had questions answered. I will continue shopping at this Lowe's for any home improvement needs. read more

Lowe's in Lehighton Pa: Don't do Delivery option!!!! The delivery guy Wouldn't do the delivery through the alley. Wouldn't even call boss to get approval just said "Boss said no alley" Which is a wide alley and the wires in the alley are at least 20 - 30 feet above the ground. The garbage trucks that go down the alley are bigger than their truck. The delivery guy's option was to leave the brand new high efficiency washer machine outside when a snow storm is coming. The guy had an attitude from the second he got out of the truck. The other issue: it was to be delivered by 11am. no communication till about 3pm with them saying they will be there in an hour. Then at 4:50 (2 hours later) they call and say 15 minutes didn't get here till 5:30...What a waste of day, & still do not have washer machine!!!! read more

I went to Lowe's last week to place a millwork special order and to buy some wire shelving for a closet. My wife and I could not find anyone in the store to help us. There was one millwork associate who was with the same customer for over 40 minutes and said "it would be a while." We then went to the wire shelving and couldn't find anyone to cut the shelving for us. No customer care buttons in this aisle. When we complained to the MOD, she said nothing and seemed disinterested. I left the store and went to the Home Depot down the street. Amazing customer service there. read more

I went to lowes today to purchase a new kitchen cabinet and counter top and the price on the counter top was 114.00 when I was checking out the counter top rang up 189.00 so I went back to where the cabinets were and finally got this older women to check the price and she said it was 189.00 so I asked her where does it say 189.00 and she said I don't know but that's the price really nasty to me like I was some kind of idiot !!! What a terrible place to shop. Lowes has gone way down hill. I ordered a lawnmower that was listed as in stock (and is still listed as in stock at that same store) They called me to tell me they didnt have it at the Lehighton store and told me they can transfer the order to the whitehall store to pick it up. SO, I went to whitehall and they told me they could not get that order completed for me. Why, something to do with the fullfillment center not having it in stock. My order then showed that the item was out of stock at the whitehall location. When I went to the aisle with the lawnmowers, there were at least 8 of the exact model there. SOOO, I had to buy one from the floor and then come home and cancel the order I placed. What a hassle dealing with lowes. Then, I asked for help getting it loaded on to the back of my car. The cashier told me to wait ten minutes and if nobody comes out to help, then I should go to customer service. What an idiotic statement. read more

To anyone considering ordering appliances from Lowes online, let me share my experience. I ordered a refrigerator on Nov. 29th, 2019 and chose delivery. The initial delivery date on the order was set for Dec. 1st. I was later called and told the delivery date would be Dec. 9th. I was supposed to receive a call the night before to receive an actual delivery time. I did receive a call, from the delivery person, telling me that "he didn't have" the refrigerator. Something about not receiving it from the warehouse and not being able to deliver what he doesn't have. I asked if he knew when he'd be getting it and he said, "Probably, Tuesday." I asked him to call as soon as he knew when he'd be able to deliver it. Tuesday came and went and I heard nothing from Lowes. I called the Lowes store responsible for the order. I was told there was some kind of "problem" at the warehouse. I was told that a delivery date would be scheduled as soon as possible. Eventually a Dec. 26th delivery date was set. The fridge was supposed to be a Christmas gift and it was now being delivered AFTER Christmas. I wasn't happy, but whatever. I was told, again, that I would be called the night before to receive a delivery time. I never received a call and no refrigerator was delivered. At this point, I was extremely angry. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift and it was now after Christmas and this whole debacle actually cost me even more money for the two days I had taken off of work to be around for the delivery since they can't give a delivery time until the night before, apparently. Let me make that point again, I lost even MORE money waiting on Lowes to fulfill an order! I called Lowes, ready to cancel the order, but the woman I spoke to said they had the refrigerator and she could set up another delivery date. I asked if she could guarantee that it would be delivered on the new date. She GUARANTEED that it would. We set up a new delivery date for January 4th, 2020 on a Saturday so i wouldn't have to take time off of work again. She told me the same thing as before. She said I'd receive a call the night before to set up a delivery time. I never received a phone call the night before to set up a delivery time. It is now Jan. 4th. I called Lowes, AGAIN, to find out what was going on. They had no idea what time it was supposed to be delivered. I was told that I would have to call the delivery guy to sort things out. NO WAY! I'm not going to call your delivery guy for you! We're 3 or 4 delivery dates and 4-5 phone calls into this and now Lowes wants me to do their work for them?! Remember, this COST ME MORE MONEY than just the purchase price! I told the woman I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund so I could buy what I need elsewhere. My patience had run dry. She said the fridge was already loaded onto a truck. I said I didn't care. I told her to call them and tell them I don't want it. She put me on hold and spoke to her manager. She then came back on the line and told me that because the fridge was already on a truck, I would have to WAIT for the delivery guys to actually deliver it, refuse it, wait for it to get sent back to the store and THEN once they got it, they would process the refund! This whole ordeal is total BS! I've never been this angry with a store/company before in my life and I swear to God I will never order anything from Lowes ever again. Hell, it'd actually have been cheaper if I just rented a truck and picked the fridge up myself! I'm totally disgusted. Thanks for nothing, Lowes! UPDATE: Not long after posting this, I get a call from the delivery company saying they're outside my house with the fridge. I look outside my house and no truck is there. After some back and forth I find out they showed up to a house in a completely different zipcode!!! This would be hilarious if I wasn't so pissed off! read more

Do NOT order appliances from this store & have them delivered. 1) Although there is a company policy that each & every item will be unwrapped & checked for damage by an employee & the delivery people, at this store this does NOT happen & it isnt because of the delivery people, it is because it is THIS stores policy that theu do NOT ALLOW them to! Although when you receive damaged goods, they will blame the delivery people & lie right to you. I received not 1 but 2 damaged refrigerators. Calling customer service was wonderful but receiving a call back from an assistant manager that did not take responsibility for anything & not DO anything but instead wanted to blame the delivery people really pissed me off. So I called back to customer service in order to speak to someone else & they put a message in for another assistant manager at that store and/or the manager. Well, it was really bithering me, so I got up early the next morning & went to the store. The weirdest thing, as soon as I walked in I saw an employee & lo & behold, it was the store manager so I stopped her. I explained everything & she again reiterated that the appliances are to be checked before leaving the back room. So she offered to have another delivered the following week. Ok, Ill play your game. The following the same delivery guys show up, I apologize to them & explain what I had gone through the past week & they told me they are NOT allowed to unwrap the merchandise although it is COMPANY policy to do so & this is the ONLY store that doesnt allow them to inspect. Ok, so guess what? Yep, another damaged fridge door. So the delivery guys did what they could & exchanged the good door with the damaged door. I also.ended up losing some food items because the freezer didnt get cold enough fast enough & some items thawed due to it being extremely hot & humid that day. So instead of just giving me a credit & I would have kept the original damaged door (which was a good thing because I was actually missing a couple shelves that I didnt realize), they insisted on exchanging & well now it cost them more because it took 2 fridges to make me 1 good fridge & they cant sell the other one at a discounted price because it had 2 damaged doors & missing shelves!! So the Lowes really hurt themselves in that way AND they lost a customer that remodeled 2 bathrooms last year purchasing even a special order window from them & we will be remodeling 2 kitchens next year but guess where we are NOT even buying a screw.....thats right, LOWES! We will go out of our way to go to Home Depot!! So not only did they lose about $25,000 next year from 1 customer, but all future buainess from us AND our family & friends!! read more

Store is clean and stocked fairly good. Cashiers are very friendly, but many of the staff will walk by you with their head down or look straight ahead like you don't exist. Guessing they are hoping you won't ask for assistance. read more
