Awful!!! Bought dishwasher 12 July after about three weeks it quit working. Bought a 6 thousand dollar lawn mower. THEN told they can't find the keys for it. Left with nothing. Manager was NO HELP. Absolutely ridiculous. Two of their biggest lawn mowers and they don't have keys to either one. Tried to give us a number to a different company to get a new key. Absolutely not, not our responsibility. When you buy something that needs a key, shouldn't it come with a key?!?! Manager was absolutely no help and REFUSED to even come out of her office to help with the situation. WORST experience ever. DONT BUY A LAWN MOWER FROM THIS LOCATION! None of the keys are correct in the mowers. The key inside the one we BOUGHT and had to get our money back had the WRONG key inside of it. I'd like to say that the staff is wearing masks in accordance with standards but cannot tell a lie. I saw masks at half-mast! Noses sticking out, some around their neck, many barely covering their mouth if at all. This was the norm at Lowes - Montoursville. Two main issues: Lowes 3rd party delivery bumped into stove and turned gas on so a family with small children had to evacuate the house. The delivery worker just laughed. We called Pilote, the delivery company, and a manager didn't get back to us. I'm writing this as a Lowes review because it is their brand. Lowes should have a line to have their 3rd party labor resolve major customer issues. Secondly, it took me 3 hours to order cellar doors. The manager in duty did understand and help me out with an estimate to take care of the project. However, the appointment was cancelled due to the company "not doing that". I will drive 45 minutes to Home Depot for my NY and PA business. I tried Lowes and am ready to move on. Their "corporate" number just goes back to the store. I want my FB friends and their friends to be aware of my situation with our local Lowe's store. In the last few years I have purchased thousands of dollars of products from them updating our home. Customer service has always been good UNTIL NOW. I purchased sheet vinyl flooring for my kitchen and it was installed in January. In July I noticed dimpling where our chairs sit. As time went on this got worse. See pictures below. I spoke to people in the flooring dept. in person 4 times before I got actual help. Yes it is under warranty. Mannington the manufacturer contacted me and refunded me the cost of the product and the cost of installation. Thanks Ike at Lowe's for your help. Now comes the BAD part. I was going to purchase different flooring from Lowe's. They want to put new flooring over top of defective flooring and I said no. They need to take the defective floor their subcontractors put down. It was put down over Armstrong vinyl that has been in place since 1990. SUDDENLY they say they cannot do this because my house is old and there might be asbestos under my floor. WHAT THE HELL!!!! There was no concern about this before. Their subcontractor just doesn't want to put in the work to remove the defective flooring even though I would be paying. So now I have to start from scratch with a new company. The store manager said he tried to resolve this because I'm a "good" customer but store policy says he can't. Be aware if things go wrong you might have a real headache getting things right. read more

We went today, 8-22-2020 to get a few pieces of lumber for a small project. The 2x4's were inside but the 2x6 treated was in the back yard. As usual we stopped at the gate and the guy, at about 2:15 pm, was in the shed sound asleep We waited and I saw a manager just ahead so we went forward and told her about the sleeping gate keeper. She thanked us and we got our board. The guy in the yard was very rude as well even after we explained what had happened and that was really disgusting. Then we stopped at the gate and the gate guy started yelling and being belligerent at us and delaying signing us out and waiting and making rude disgusting remarks over and over. He said he was tired and hot in the shed but was not sleeping. I am sure sleeping would be defined as kicked back in his chair, head rolled back and eyes shut while we waited for him to come out. Beware as Lowe's has a very disgusting and rude gate keeper to the back area. Keep an eye out for this miserable person. read more

Having our bathroom remodeled. Signed a contract, paid all up front because we had to, against my better judgement. Now I know why they had us pay for the whole thing up front. The contractor D. Kinney agreed to the job then didn't show up on the first day of the contract which was scheduled for 4-2-18 thru 4-9-18 with maybe a couple days overage which was okay with me ( a couple days!) I paid big money to have this done in a short amount of time and they new what I expected. We usually do all home projects our selves. I even took a whole week of vacation time so they could be there. Mr. Kinney got upset when I told him I didn't want him in our house to do work when we weren't home. Then after a couple days they only came a few hrs at a time. They are dragging this out entirely too long. Mistakes were made in the room. They never asked to see our what sizes our new things were, they just put things in where the old came out of. They put a scratched tub spout on and never said a thing and more! They apparently can break a signed contract but I could not! They refused to let us out of it so we could finished on our own. Now as of this date it's still not done 4/29/18. I think I'll have to approach this another way or I may never get it finished. Mr. Griffin is a poor scheduler. He has proven that he is just in it for his portion of the money. I will never go to Lowes ever again for something like this!!! read more

Don't waste your money at Lowe's of Montoursville, they have horrible customer service & at least in the Garden / plant department they're employees have No Idea, WTF there doing. So at the end of last season I was in looking around at plants & trees to do some landscaping in my back yard. I bought a few flowers, blue berry bushes & some of those shrubs that do well in the shade, as Well as an Apple tree, they only had 3 left. Spent around $150 can't remember exactly. Anyway a week later in work I'm telling people how I bought 1 Apple tree, & they info me I needed at least 2, if I want them to fruit. Now I spoke to 2 people in the garden section at Lowes, 1 while looking at the trees, No one said Sh!T about needing more than one, or I would have gotten them. Now when I go back, well you guessed it No more Apple Trees. SMH. .... So Next spring... In a bad windstorm the Apple tree is snapped at 2/3 the way up. Thinking well fortunately I kept the price tag with barcode & I have a year guarantee on this $30 Tree I'll take it back & get another, Wrong again, I take it back & Although I have the tree & the original sticker/Barcode, I didn't keep the Receipt... So They Won't Do Anything for Me... Well let's just say I'll spend my money at the smaller gardening centers from now on, why bother with Lowes... read more
