I'm giving one star as two employees was very helpful, everything we were looking for was not available or not in the right spot. After locating an item, I walked around the corner and noticed a pile of garden hose reel with wheels with a huge sale sign that stated it was $10.00 off the $39.00 price now $29.00. Ours broke last year and my husband was at the other end of the store, so I engaged it to wheel it to him to check it out. It was perfect. Walked everything down to cashier which scanned the garden hose reel first. It came up with a price of $74.99. I said that is marked $29.00 on sale and i asked if she wanted me to get the sign to save time as we had waited for 15 minutes to check out. Her response was yes but she stated that she had to call the manager to change a price. I went to retrieve the sign when I got to the pile of hose reels, I checked to make sure there wasn't a different one that the sign was supposed to be attached to. Nope they were all the same! When the manager finally arrived, he took the sign and went to the pile, came back and said they were mismarked and I should have read the "little numbers". I stated NO that wasn't my job. I came upon a pile of all the same products, and it had a huge sign that stated a price, that's the price. If there had been more than one model I would have researched it further. I have worked retail most of my life and if something was marked wrong you had to honor that price, correct it and someone who marked it got a talking too. But not in today's world you have to wait on yourself, check the "little numbers" to make sure the person that should have marked it right did their job. Needless to say, I won't be shopping at Lowes again. To top it off I picked up a sales flyer when we entered the store, I put it into the cart with my husband as I went down an aisle. When I came back, he stated the flyer is in Spanish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We don't read Spanish. The language in American is English!!!!!!!!! If Lowes feels that their flyers need to be in other languages to make a buck, fine put up a sign that those flyers will be at the service desk, and they should be in every language that might be needed. read more

I am giving this store a one star review only because it is not possible to give them zero stars. The level of incompetence is unbelievable at this location. On July 20th, I purchased a gas stove at this location. It was a double oven gas range, which originally retailed for $3099. It was marked down to $774. After waiting around for 30 minutes for someone to show up in the appliances section, I finally went to customer service and requested that they send someone to the appliance section. When the associate showed up I asked about buying the stove. I said that I wanted to buy it for delivery, but I did not want to set the delivery date immediately because I wanted to go home and double check my space to be sure it would fit. For some reason this created confusion. After calling his supervisor, he said he would sell it to me as if I was taking it away with me, and I could come back tomorrow to arrange delivery if I still wanted it. I agreed, and bought the stove, and a 3 year replacement plan. So far, 45 minutes was invested in the purchase of this stove. The next day (7/21), I returned to confirm that the stove would fit in my space, and arrange delivery. Once again, the appliances section was unmanned for quite a while, so after 15 minutes I went to the front of the store to request assistance. A manager named Erica and a young Russian lady spent the next half hour setting up delivery for Tuesday, 7/25. I have to say, both were friendly and very helpful. Another 45 minutes spent getting this stove. Today, 7/25, my stove was never delivered. I returned to the location, and shockingly enough, no one was working in the appliance area. I flagged down an employee who called someone to assist me. The employee was confused, and spent a few minutes arguing with me as to whether or not the stove could be delivered, as it was sold as a take away, but I produced receipts from 7/21 showing delivery was arranged, and asking where my stove was. What followed was an hour long song and dance about looking through delivery records, checking back rooms, etc, only to tell me that the stove was "sold out from under me" and that the best they could do was re-imburse my money, which is completely unacceptable. With all of their computer systems, how are they not flagged when trying to sell an already sold item? I have sunk over 2 1/2 hours of my life into buying this product, and after their incompetence, they are not willing to honor the sale with the same stove or something comparable. Do not shop at this location. read more

This place is a mess. Can't maneuver large aisles because of all the crap left everywhere. Many sections of lumber no longer labeled. Pallets of garbage left on the floor, too. Need a cart for Sheetrock? Chances are all of them are currently in various aisles with stuff piled on them. read more

Went to customer service desk to see if the paving blocks I wanted to finish a job with would be available in the near future. The young woman at customer service desk was on her first week at the job. She didn't know how to look up an item in the system. Had difficulties using the phone. Couldn't reach a store manager of any type. She called several other departments to see if they could help me and other customers. After 10 minutes and no assistance arrived, I gave up. Who puts a new employee at a CUSTOMER SERVICE desk and leaves that person alone to deal with your PAYING CUSTOMERS?? Really?? The young lady tried her best. No fault of hers. I was looking for backsplash tile and this place just didn't seem to have the selection that we were looking for (although it was better than Home Depot). I was able to find some samples that were close to what I wanted but I also found some samples that weren't from Lowes. Someone must have brought them in for a comparison and I picked them up wanting to find more. The service here was very good and the man helping me was very nice, I was also able to return my samples when they didn't work. I will go to a Lowes closer to where I live, I guess in a small town, maybe there just isn't a need for lots of options. read more

I use Lowe's almost exclusively because they offer a discount for Veterans where Home Depot does not. I think the store is very clean and well maintained. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is the customer service. I've had this problem in multiple Lowe's, not just this one. Ive never seen so many associates avoid making eye contact with customers. I've been here a little over a year, and I kid you not, not one person has asked me if I've needed any help finding something (I've been to this store more than 30 times). I've always had to flag someone down. They are always very nice when I do, but That's not the way it should be! No associate should ever walk past a customer without saying "Hello" at the very least, and "Can I help you find something" preferably. It's not difficult. I guarantee sales will go up if you start doing that. People like to shop where they feel they are wanted. They will buy more stuff per visit. It's the little things that make the biggest difference sometimes. Say hello to everyone! Your customers will thank you for it. read more

According to Lowe's Appliance employee, Lowe's appliances are luck of the draw. My stove lasted 3.5 years just outside the protection plan time frame and they won't help me at all! The day after thanksgiving my fridge went bad so I went to Lowe's to replace it. I worked with a salesman that was very helpful his name was grant. Grant ended up selling me all new appliances and what sold me was the rebates from Samsung and Lowe's I would end up getting. Roughly around 600 dollars. So that night I went online filled in the information and was denied on both rebates. I called the store several times and went in to talk to the managers and they were not helpful at all. 2 of them never returned my call. Mind you I spent almost 4 thousand dollars with them. So I went in and was going to try one last time and again spoke to a manager that wasn't helpful she sent me back to the appliance desk where I ended up working with a women named Alyssa. She was awesome she spent a lot of her time Monday making phone calls and fighting for me to get my deserved rebates. She is the right person when it comes to customer service. She should be a manager. I would of gave 5 stars because overall my experience was good other than the mangers not making me a priority like I feel they should have after spending that much money there. read more

I ordered and payed for plywood.2x4s,tin roofing,screws,furring strips and plywood.Payed for my order and payed to get it delivered.Last week it was a flat tire,by Sunday they showed up with only half the order.As of today we still have not received the tin or the screws. read more
