Despite increased use by Public Charges the actual processing of prescriptions remains easy. Despite warnings by friends about this store, I made the mistake of continuing to use it. In NY the provider sends an electronic prescription and the pharmacy selects "private", Medicaid or Medicare Part D and promptly fills the prescription. I happen to be selling my house so each trip to this Walgreens is over an hour. On the previous visit the store was unable to fill a second prescription for me. I paid for it and wonder who they gave it to. The most recent visit will be my last time. This time they used the Wrong Edit to fill both prescriptions. I was informed that they wern't ready. Then told my provider was not qualified. I will be civil and write that Walgreens could have called a "866" number for a pharmacy help desk and quickly resolved this matter, but instead insulted me. I have had the same identical prescriptions filled for a few years now; only recently found the competency of the employees lagging. My advice is to avoid this store like a rash and instead look at options like Walmart and Amazon, I am.

Meds sit on shelves in the back and get forgotten about. Once you ask for them, they will tell you to wait 20 minutes which then turns into an hour. Apparently their system cancels things, they told me they accidentally deleted my medication from the system. They have my pills in the back and still withhold them from me as i am near passing out. This walgreens NEEDS to be better!!! Imagine i needed insulin right now. You're all getting sued.

My Mom suggested we stop at Kinney Drugs because they often have cute and useful items. Fortunately, they have a generous size greeting card section. Additionally, they offer a wide variety of packaged cards. Voila, I hit the card lottery! They had exactly what I desired. I was able to purchase a 10 pack of Hallmark thank you cards for $3.99 plus tax. The cashier who checked me out was kind and patient. Due to the fact I'm not a local, I didn't have a Kinney card so I attempted to input a few relatives' telephone numbers. I threw in the towel after three unsuccessful attempts. Nonetheless, she was cool as a cucumber and never mimicked an impatient person. I appreciated her pleasant disposition. On a side note, they have some great gift options and a decent clearance section. I would definitely shop here again!

Walmart is like a magnet it will draw in customers from the worst to the best. I suggest that if you are concerned about that simply go to walmart.com and actually purchase the items online, after comparing the item with its competitors, also online, and then the store employees will put it in your cart as a completed purchase. Don't be hesitant about asking an employee for assistance or even going to Customer Service for assistance. The perennial scam in all Big Box stores is excessive returns and misuse of the self-payment registers. Be assured that all stores have the same security methods and they are quite good at catching the bad people. If you just want to walk around and shop another suggestion is to call the store and ask them if they have a specific item, and to actually hold it for you. There is an excellent free Walmart app for your smart phone to make shopping much easier by actually locating the item and current price. Walmart still has a policy of meeting the cost of all other "local" competitors with the actual flyer listing prices. The pizza and Italian-type foods are the mainstay of many college people. Behold the end-cap with the portioned fish fillets and steaks. One piece of ahi tuna begging me to take it home was snatched up along with a bag of steamed veggies from the produce section. Price Chopper places coupons on items with a next day sell date so I saved a $1 on the veggies. The tuna was very well priced, an 11 ounce steak for $6.02. In the end, I had a delicious and healthy meal for less than $8. #winning Our cashier was extremely friendly and provided some useful around town tips once he learned we were visiting from out of town. The store was well stocked and the bakery featured a large selection of prepackaged and fresh baked goods. Strawberry shortcakes were on sale for $4.99, that's a real NY bargain! I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the store itself. Well lit, fully stocked shelves, lots of color and eye-catching appeal. I wanted to shop but needed to keep my appointment. I was early, but in a rush so I went right to the pharmacy counter. They were happy to see me and friendly. In only a few minutes the pharmacist was ready for me.
