Just because Lowes bought out the competition it does not mean they can run a store. Sharon left a note and it really echoed my last experience. I have money but I can not spend it as no one seems to know anything; about the store, products, recommendations, or when the fog will lift. Back to home Depot or drive out of town to Home Hardware. All the bad reviews about bad customer service are unfortunately true. We came in to grab a few simple things and could not find where they were. Asked one employee who just walked away stating I don't know. I preceded to ask three more employees who happened to stand next to each other and they all just looked at each other and shrugged. I then asked the manager at the front who made very little effort to look around and then told us we don't have it. The only reason I didn't give them one out of five stars is because they had plenty of parking and a beautiful garden centre. read more

This place is a joke I spend over 100,000 a year at Rona / lowes and this store just lost out on a shitload of money I asked where things were and all they said is over there somewhere I will drive an extra 30 min and go to a Rona where they appreciate your business. The new owners of Rona are cutting back on stores that are not producing and this place is definitely not producing read more

I must say the costumer service is poor and I wouldn't go in there again. Also wish that the manager would be there own costumers after there ordered some thing there didn't had in stock. And don't get a phone call not befor 3 month after placing the order and then after 3 month there call you and saying that the product isn't in yet but there will call you back right back after 2week we went in and there it is there had it in stock and after 2hr in the store we left the our order. I bought a dishwasher and purchased the instal plan for Lowes sub contractors. Unfortunately the space was a smidge smaller than the size of the new dishwasher and the contractor left without finishing the instal. Lowes pro-actively contacted me and gave me options including having another contractor come and remove some wood trim from the cavity so it would fit. I chose this option and the new contractors came out, and in my opinion went above and beyond to find a solution. Lowes followed a number of times during this process to make sure I was happy with the instal. I love my new (Bosch) dishwasher and am a big fan of Lowes since they partnered with me to successfully solve a problem that was causing me a lot of stress. read more

Not at all happy with the Customer Service at this store and will never visit that store again. Purchased on line and went to pick up from the store. Got everything and was loading in my Car and suddenly an employee came from inside saying that can I see your bill looks like you haven't paid? Looks like they thought I stole their stuff. I feel so bad. There should be a proper procedure for all this so that other employees do know that we purchased it. Will never visit that store again read more

we purchased new carpet at Lowes crossiron mills back in November. was supposed to be installed on dec 3 but instead they installed it in the wrong house. yes wrong house. not even an apology came from any of the managers i talked with after this until i asked for one and that no one had said anything. everyone pointing fingers at everyone else. we didnt get the call until late the night before. by then we had already taken half of the house apart as we were told all furniture had to be removed as well as all the doors. so in the end we would have to do that all twice. a lot of work. all the managers cared about was if we were going to order the carpet again. as we didnt have much choice at this time as we were having our wedding reception and then leaving for our honeymoon we ordered another batch of carpet. we were now put on ignore mode by everyone at the store. when carpet did arrive one guy showed up to install. he showed up very late and without tools which he left at a different job. he had not showered in days it seemed and the body odor smell took 2 days to get out of our house. he damaged several walls in the process and did just an ok job of the install. we had to pay to repair and repaint damaged walls. Lowes managers thought it was a good idea to have the carpet installer come back in and repair the walls. not sure how it was a good idea to have a mediocre carpet installer repair walls? maybe he could come put in an air conditioner while he's here???? so after nearly 2 months of dealing with these lowes managers and everyone passing along to the next because they say they have no authority they offered gift cards to their store. not only can we not even really use them as we have not much need for anymore home improvement items, lowes did nothing in this process to have us want to deal with them as customers anymore anyway. likely offering gift cards does not come out of their bottom line to much and really only costing them 30-50% of the value of the card if that. must be some bonuses attached to some of this stuff for these managers. such a minuscule amount you would thing in the big business of lowes. read more

I am not happy with their customer service at all. I called in yesterday to customer service regarding a promotion they have going on that if you purchase a BBQ you get the BBQ cover for free. I informed the lady that I had purchased a BBQ and cover a week ago and wanted to see if there was anything that could be done or if they could honor the current promotion. She put me on hold to speak to a manager and when she came back on the line she said I would have three days to go in and provide my receipt and they would refund me the money I paid for the BBQ cover. However, I drove all the way up there today and went to customer service and provided my receipt to another lady who then tells me there is nothing they can do and that the lady I spoke with yesterday was probably new and didn't know what she was talking about. When I mentioned the lady spoke with a manager she just shrugged her shoulders and I asked her if she could go talk with the manager and she said that she wouldn't because he would say the same thing that she is. Not impressed that when a customer asks for a manager the store employee thinks its okay to say no. read more
