The thing about buying a new house is you need to go to a home improvement store all of the time. I'm a regular here at this point and they have had what I've needed every single time: I've had purchases here small (pack of wood screws) to large (new John Deere rider mower). Clean, organized, and with helpful folks to assist with finding what you need, this has been my go-to for all my home owner needs. Edit: They put out their Halloween stuff in August. It's not even Labor Day! I feel like they're trying to accelerate my life. read more

I have received terrible customer service with this Lowe's. I paid upfront $1200 for carpet installation and the company Legacy flooring that was supposed to install it canceled on me three times. I put my order in two months ago and still haven't got my carpet installed. I called Lowe's customer service several times to get help with this issue and I've been given the runaround. I finally called to get a refund, and I'm still getting more of a run around. Let's see if they can at least get the refund part right. read more

Buying power tools yesterday (or, trying to again!) and could not get the guy working there to give me 2 seconds of his time. He could not answer my questions, and then left. He eventually returned, but to only stock a package of sockets. This store has never been worth a darn. The employees all disappear whenever I/wife/family/friends/associates have tried to purchase anything here. They have a long-standing policy of quickly leaving the area you are at after saying they will look for the item (or find the answer to your question), only to run for the hills instead. I understand that you have to get your employees from whatever the town/city etc offers, but try and hire folks that know their butts from a hole in the ground, and not just having them watch a video, then saying that employee has the experience to work in that particular section! Left empty handed yesterday (again!), and I went to Home Depot in Mgty today and got everything I needed, including the employee being able to know the difference between a jigsaw, and a jigsaw puzzle. read more

We normally find what we need in this store but their delivery service is awful. They always say they will call the morning of the day of delivery and give you a time but they NEVER do. They have done this to us three times now. Yesterday they were supposed to deliver an appliance and never called nor did they show up. My husband called first thing this morning and we were told by the store manager we would be delivered to this morning but it isn't looking good. We have been chained to the house for one whole day already. It better be here by noon or they will be returning our money and we will order from Home Depot. Sight Unseen. read more
