I generally have wonderful experiences at Lowe's whichever location I go to. I go to there constantly for work and use a commercial account and I have no problem showing my identification to make purchases, but the new system that they are using that photographs my identification is ridiculous and wastes my time. After receiving three notices to pick up an item curbside, I finally had time to drive there. Parked in a curbside parking spot and waited 20+ min. Normally, the wait time is only about five min. It was getting hot outside and my dog was getting agitated so I called the store to cancel my order. A female answered the phone, I asked her to cancel my order because I've been waiting over 20 min. She replied "Well, I've been looking for your order for over 20 min." No pleasantries, no care for the customer. Why couldn't Lowes have sent someone out to my car to let me know they were trying to locate the items and there might be a delay? I would have understood--Lowes has done this before. To make matters worse, she hung up on me, and when I checked the Lowes app, I noticed she had canceled my order. Lack of communication is a poor way to handle this situation. Usually, I have positive experiences at this location but not today. read more

Awesome customer service at this Lowe's today. I needed weights for a canopy tent for a craft market tomorrow. Unfortunately the weights I wanted were not in stock at the store and had to be pre-ordered. The employee assisting me came up with a clever DIY alternative using dumbbells and clothesline rope. Don't use their same day delivery service. They sub out same day deliveries, and the contracted drivers will not observe delivery instructions. I asked that some drywall be delivered to the garage entrance in the alley. The driver said they only make deliveries to the front porch. Would have taken a few minutes to drive around to the alley. Instead, it took me hours to haul the drywall piece by piece across the lawn to the garage. Driver also slid the drywall across the non-skid surface of my porch, giving it a nice, coarse grit sanding. read more

I took my elderly neighbor to Lowe's in Xenia who had the wrong color appliance delivered to his house. I really didn't like how the manager was handling what my neighbor was trying to tell him. If they sent the wrong color, why not just take care of it instead of trying to make a big deal out of it. All the manager promised to do was "email" their third-party delivery people to pick up the item, and who knows when that will be, but they took no responsibility whatsoever for the foul-up, no "we are sorry", nothing to indicate that my neighbor should have the right color appliance in his house that he paid for. I cannot say how disappointed I was, it could have been handled so much better. read more

Very impressed with this Lowe's and Lowe's in general. Their prices are typically more competitive than Home Depot's and they give 10% military discount. I had a washer and dryer installed recently in my house and did not have the proper vent length. The delivery service crew went back to lowes, got a longer dryer vent line and came back to my house free of charge! They really care about customer satisfaction and keeping a customer rather than just making a buck. Keep up the good work, lowes! read more

I actually love this place for outdoor plants. The staff is always helpful. I feel like you can't always get the help you need inside the store. But overall I prefer lowes over Home Depot. read more

I am writing this review BEFORE I have even received anything. I am in the middle of a 30K Kitchen remodeling. Signed the contract in December. Was promised a good project manager. I have not heard from her one time. Have sent numerous email to her and the sales rep. I just found out she was so good, she was promoted. I just called the Store Manager and hope to get some better service as their communication has been terrible. My wife and I both work and should not have to field calls from the sub-contractors (cabinet maker, countertop maker and construction company). I am always by Lowes told they should not be calling me, but the only way they could have is if Lowes gave them our number. I am hoping the contractor's are better than the sellers. read more
