I've been a customer of this specific Lowe's for over a decade and I've always preferred it over Home Depot right next store. The staff has always been friendlier, the prices a teeny bit better, and they always have what I need. Of course, I'm here regularly looking for cool plants. I only tend to visit Zanesville anymore to see my parents and my mom loves to come check out their indoor plant section and outdoor furniture. I've visited with my dad too for all sorts of odds and ends. If you're in Zanesville and need a trip to the hardware store, I'd definitely recommend coming here over Home Depot. read more

Bought a refridgerator on line free delivery and set up. The lazzy delivery crew didnt want to bring it up my steps . Before I could discuss it with my brother they just took off with the refridgerator still loaded in their truck. Were not only canceling the order were paying our ballance with Lowes cutting up the cards and going to Home Depot. This is the Lowes that we go to for Christmas decorations and other stuff that our local Lowes does not have for whatever reason. The store is nice and clean, well lit and has a good selection of what you're looking for. They had my item I was hoping for and some beautiful poinsettias as well. read more

Went to plumbing department, no one was working in that department that afternoon. Got some other items. No check outs open but self which can not do tax exempt. Went to Home Depot and got excellent service. Don't go to Lowes in Zanesville. read more

I visited the Lowe's in Zanesville, Ohio today around 2pm. I needed some construction screws, nails and joint brackets. I am not a construction guy and was just trying to pick them up for my son. I took in the actual item and/or empty box for each item. I could not find the items on my own. I looked for help which took a long time. I found a female worker and she couldn't help me but said she would look for someone who knew screws. She wandered around for awhile never finding anyone and finally disappeared. I saw very little employees in the aisle areas or where they could help customers. Another lady had the same luck and couldn't get assistance. On the way out there was 2 employees standing around the exit looking at people leaving instead of assisting people like me. On the way out I told the lady they had terrible service and need to improve their customer service because I could not get any help and I was going up the road to Home Depot. I walked into Home Depot and was helped immediately and out in 10 minutes. I also saw the other dissatisfied female from Lowe's in there. That's two customers that Lowe's lost. read more

This store sucks, ordered 3k in flooring and paid to have it installed... 4 months later, 3 screw ups on their flooring department.... got laughed at and blamed for the mistake...all I did was get the floor measured by the contractor and pay... not sure how anything Is my fault... . Went today had 1 item... waited 25min in line..then cashier closed the line with me next... save your time go to home depot or wait until menards comes. Employees are not the willingness folk to help with needs. Prices are halfway decent, store is well set out and clean. Just an average store, nothing really to write home about. Not really the place to go for great customer service either. read more

We called to check about having a roof put on our home. David Phillips answered all our questions for us even returned my call on his day off. At first I was scared to have Lowes do my roof " my dad owned a construction company" and I am picky and I can point out any mistake or short cut anyone tries. But I cant get on a roof anymore and do it myself. I am so glad I did go with Lowes. The company they sent out was Apex and the guys that did my roof was Steven and Luke. These guys went above and beyond to make sure it was done correct and I was satisfied in ever step they did. They showed up at 7 AM and worked until 10 PM. And on top of leaving their homes at 6 AM they refused to leave until the job was complete. The only negative thing I have to say is to all the other home owner out there that use Apex to do your roof PLEASE feed and give them drinks during their work day. They are doing all they can to make sure you are satisfied so treat them the way you want to be treated. Isaac from Apex is very accommodating to your needs as well.
