We had quotes from other roofers that were less expensive, however, the materials were subpar. One roofer was going to use shingles that had been recalled in Canada! The name of the gentleman that was at our house initially is Steven and he runs a phenomenal crew! They hustled and worked like a team. My neighbors were marveling over how fast they worked and the organization they used to shingle the stripped roof. We have two layers they had to tear off and I swear the shingles were off in an hour! Danny, the owner, was there for the last portion of the job. This guy knows his stuff. I had some questions about a ridge vent, and he could have taken advantage of me and charged a heck of a lot more. But he instead we talked about the ventilation and determined it was not in my best interest to cut into the perfect cedar under the shingles to install a ridge vent. He is very respectful and I believe he does honest work and did not go higher than the quoted price.
