We hired Javier Landscaping to remove some bushes and plants from our backyard so we could put up a fence and they were great to work with throughout the whole process. I gave Javier the number of our fence company so they could work on a schedule to get everything done which made it less stressful for me to organize. The two man team came on Saturday morning and worked all day digging out the bushes and clearing the branches. They ended the day by raking the entire yard. We couldn't be happier how it turned out! 5 stars! Javier and his crew came Saturday to do a spring clean up and spread new mulch. They worked hard and were so efficient and thorough. Our yard has never looked better! Our house has had huge oaks surrounding it for many years and the leaves have always been impossible to manage. This past winter we had to cut down a few trees to preserve our roof and decrease the amount of leaves as well as falling/breaking limbs during storms. Since the trees were cut in the winter the leaves from the mess remained on the ground all winter and our yard was a disaster. Javier and his team showed up, immediately got to work, and transformed our yard (front and back) in just a few hours. They were also incredibly friendly and even took the time to wave to our two young kids who were amazed watching them work. Javier was also very helpful in assessing areas of our damaged lawn we've had trouble growing grass and he'll be back to lay down sod. After initially being contacted by Javier's it took almost 2 weeks for him to actually do the work. He needs to understand that people don't just wait around day after day to have him show up when he wants to. Poor communication skills. When he finally showed up he was very efficient and curteous, but I probably won't use him again as I planned my days around him showing up and never did. read more

Had an old maple that needed to come down. It was in a tough location. Between a garage and shed with a chain link fence up against it. My house close by. The work was surgical precision. Javier was very responsive and quickly provided me with a very reasonable quote for the removal of 2 tall trees (70ft+ tall) and stumps. Do not hire. They will keep you waiting and then just never show up. This company contacted me a couple of days after I said their quote to grind stumps was too much and said they'd do it for a cheaper price. I agreed because it was a good deal and they said they'd be at my house the next day (which was a Saturday so I was pleasantly surprised). Later that night he called and said he forgot they are off so they can't come until Monday. I said ok. Sunday comes around and he calls again and says he forgot they were off Monday and that they could come the next day at 12 or 1. I agreed. Meanwhile, I am sick so I took the day off from work to rest and show them where the stumps are. I would have much rather be sleeping but need these stumps removed. I began waiting for them before noon. 2pm arrives and they are a no show. I text and call. Can I call you back in 5 minutes? He asks. 30 minutes later I get a text that they were inconvenienced and they can come either the next day (Wednesday) after 3 or Thursday. I say ok no problem. Wednesday comes and goes, not a word from them. Thursday morning arrives and I ask what time they will be here. No response. That afternoon, I message again and ask them if they are coming and to please respond otherwise I am moving on to someone else. Nothing. How can a company just ghost someone like that? String a customer along for a week and then just peace out? People have lives and jobs and children to take care of and better things to do than wait around for a person hired to do something that just never shows up. Horrible service. I'd give zero stars if I could. A week of "I'll come tomorrow" and tomorrow arrives with nothing. Losing my confidence in hired professionals. read more

A large walnut tree broke during the storm and half of it collapsed into our backyard. After researching options, Javier provided the best price and timely response. They cleaned up everything, and took all the wood with them, and went above and even took old cut logs that had been there that we didn't even ask them, but was much appreciated. Javier came to my house to give quote, set up a day, didn't come. I've called him again, he apologized and set up another day. Didn't come. The third time, the same result. Today was the fourth time, and of course, with the same result. No calls, no explanations. I called him, and he hung up as soon as he recognized my voice. The only reason I was keep calling him, is that he had 10 good responses from previous customers.
