I visited this location to invest in 200 feet of extension cord. One might ask, "Why would I need that much?" Well, let me tell you, I go camping a lot. So sometimes, I need extension cords to hook up my Jackery, or if I am at an electric site and need to plug in a heater to do winter camping in my tent, it came in handy. I found an employee who directed me to aisle 11 or 12. I went to aisle 11, but it wasn't there. Once I walked to aisle 12, I saw various extension cords in different colors, from 50 ft to 75 ft. What's nice is that they had a special on 100 ft of extension cords. The original price for this brand was $64, but the sale price was $26 on the package. So, I picked up two of them. While standing in line, Belinda, the self-checkout cashier; politely insisted on helping me. I went ahead and took her up on her offer. Belinda surprised me! She asked if I had the MyLowes app and I told her that I didn't. I admitted that I used to work for Lowe's in Clear Lake and had an inactive membership card. Ms. Belinda asked me to download the app and even showed me how to set it up. Once I got the app up, she explained the benefits of using it including the rewards. Last week, I was at another Lowe's and couldn't find the boiled linseed oil, I immediately pulled up the app and found what aisle it was on. So it comes in handy. When Belinda rang up the extension cords they were $14 a piece, so I got a steal! I told Belinda that I was interested in seeing Bonnie who works in the Outside Lawn and Garden (OLSG). She paged her for me. I went and surprised her in the garden. We hugged and she greatly remembered my face. The garden center was flourishing and the plants looked beautiful despite the winter front coming in again. The tye plant and hibiscus were vibrant! I wanted to buy some; too bad they are full sun and I don't have access to that kind of sun. Bonnie is doing a splendid job with taking care of the plants. She prepared them for safety out of the frigid temperatures. I like this location. read more

Furniture or lawn mower....associate will help you out...make the sale...ask if you need anything else...take you to checkout and load it in your vehicle...100% customer service....pearland knows how to treat a customer right... Purchased a refrigerator at store. When delivered it was damaged right out of the box. The 3rd party delivery company they use sent it back. Lowes stated they will send a new one the next day. We attempted to get a new one sent back the same day but the Appliance store manager JoAnn would not do it and argued with my wife about thats the best she can do so "take it or leave it" as she put it. Next day same thing. Frig was damaged upon delivery. After speaking to multiple managers the best they can do is send the same one back tomorrow that we can use until they send us an undamaged new one to swap out. Instead of getting a call from 3PD to schedule, I got a robo-call telling me they would be coming the next day between 8-10am. ummmm yeah, that wasn't going to work, so i had to call and reschedule with them. Then when they were supposed to come, they called me and told me that they wern't going to be able to make it. Then I had to reschedule again, and they couldn't accomodate that either. It was a huge nightmare. When they finally did deliver at a time that was completely inconvenient for me, they left the wrappers and papers from the packaging strewn all over my patio--making no attempt to clean up after they left. and they didn't switch the doors on the stacking washer dryer so they opened the same way. I provided feedback to Lowe's, and Steven, the Pasadena store manager, reached out to me. He was very apologetic and went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with my order. He is even sending someone out to correct the doors for me, for free. So in summary--customer service at this Lowe's is great. They should, however, consider changing delivery companies! read more

I loved to shop at the Pasadena, TX Lowe's for so many years, but now the music is so loud and obnoxious I only go in if I can't find something I need at Home Depot or other building stores. I have spent many thousands remodeling two houses and I think Lowe's is cleaner and the employees friendlier, but the music is so horrible and so LOUD that you can't even think. It gives me a headache. Right before Christmas, I went to Home Depot and the Christmas music was so wonderful that I saw people literally dancing in the aisles. The store was packed. I couldn't find the brand I wanted and decided to brave the obnoxiously loud music at Lowe's because I knew they had the brand I wanted. As I entered, the loud music hit me in the ears like a boxer's punch. I ran to get the item I wanted so I could get out of there as soon as possible. (The store was almost empty). As I approached the checkout counter, I heard, "BAM, BAM, SCREECH, SCREECH, SCREECH, CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!" I was shocked that the horrible music was actually Christmas music. Supposedly, Lowe's has a new Chairman of the Board. He needs to wake up or get his hearing checked because Lowe's is definitely losing customers because of the loud, horrible, and annoying music. Do NOT try to schedule a delivery using Lowe's delivery service. They outsource to another company XPO, or XTO and they are THE WORST. You will not be able to schedule a time for delivery at all, they just show up whenever and expect you to be there. You can't talk to anyone at the delivery company, you have to go through Lowe's and it's all automated and time frames are "approximate and not guaranteed." So if you want to get anything delivered on a workday you'd better take the whole day off. When you call the customer service number to reschedule you'll get Megan who is SO rude and you won't get anywhere trying to get a delivery time. Just take the whole day off and get your pay docked a full workday so you can be home whenever they decide to show up. read more

Ordered a grill online for my husband's father's day gift and when he went to pick it up, the girl behind the counter kept saying the card was not authorized. She tried it several times and it didn't work so she cancelled the order and rang it up as a new sale. At that point my card was declined and when I checked my bank account, the charge had been submitted 7 times. Over $2,000 was pending from my account and they couldn't do anything to reverse the charges. I called my bank and they said that their Chase VISA had to cancel the charges, but when I told Lowes' they said there was nothing they could do. I've been without the $2,000 all weekend and it's Monday and the charges are still pending on my account. I don't know what she did, but it left a huge burden on us this weekend. read more

Said everything was good to go. The day of the delivery got a call from Katie from the Pasadena location who said our refrigerator wasn't going to be coming and would come in a few weeks because it was a special order. Spoke to about 5 different people throughout the day who didn't give a crap. Got transferred from one to another or was told "let us figure something out and we will call you in 20-30 minutes" never got a call back so when I called them after an hour had to stay on the line for 20 minutes to get ahold of someone. Spoke to a Lexie who said she will try to get us a loner from the pearland location. Once again she said she'll call us back. She did and said a Brandon would call us from the pearland location. He never did so we called the pearland location and were told he would call us back. When we finally got Brandon the manager at the pearland location who had no clue what was going on. He wanted me to come in and get something else and that was all he could do. Didn't have any loners available. Why the hell would I buy something if I have to come back and get something I don't want and have to pay full price for another one. We were supposed to get our stuff (washer, dryer and pedestals) delivered today from 6-8pm. When I called to find out where the washer and dryer was. I was told they were coming tomorrow and only the washer without the dryer and pedestals. Like what the hell are you guys sitting answering phones for when everyone has some different information. First I was told no refrigerator and now no dryer and pedestals. The girl tired to call the Pasadena location and they were close at 8:15. Now I'm at my new house with an infant and a toddler with no appliances. So thank you so much for your horrible customer service!! Will always recommend everyone to Home Depot over lowes. They have a very good practice on returning products. I had bought a shower door which I eventually discovered would not work for my bathroom. I had taken all of the parts out of the box and left the box outside for four weeks. I put the parts back in the box and taped it closed the best I could. Lowe's gave me full cash back. I have been an avid Lowe's supporter for years. I prefer going to Lowe's over the Home depot across the street for so many reasons its hard to list them. But that is rapidly changing. From spending an hour just to pay for carpet that was ordered and i was informed the bill was ready for me to come in and pay for it. So I had bought a washer and dryer at this lowe's. They had me set up a date for delivery. when it got to the date nobody shows up. I call and they said that the hose for the dryer was out of stock and that the date needed to be pushed back. we go to the lowe's store and spent longer then 2 hours there trying to get this straight. turns out they did have the hose but one of the guys forgot to put it on the truck, so they just said it was out of stock.
