Let's not even get started on how hard it is to get an emergency appointment! Sure there are 24 hour emergency vets, but those are also exorbitantly expensive. UrgiPet is the perfect middle ground. You can schedule an appointment if you know your pet needs an update on their shots or walk in if your dog has been acting weird or is sick. There's a $40 fee to be seen no matter what, but that's about 1/3 of the price you'd be anywhere else for a walk-in. The staff is incredibly caring and so responsive. I am moving away and I'm hoping to find a vet that I will like as much as Urgipet.

They approach their patients as if they were the pet owner themselves. Definitely helps alleviate some of the stress that is associated with caring for your sick or injured pet. By far, the most convenient hours of operation to help accommodate ones hectic work day schedule. I almost do not want to let the secret out. However, it is important to note that they work long, hard hours to do their best to meet the needs of their precious patients well into the night and weekends. I considered the "dropoff" while I could wait in waiting area but reconsidered when unpleasant girl working entrance desk stated that it would not be til the afternoon. I was precharged electronically over the phone $62.20 just to make the appt. I asked if they would just refund my precharge and I would go elsewhere- after pleasant girl went to the back office for a minute she informed me that I would be charged a "no-show" fee for being over 15 mins late now I received $12.20 that she required my card for the refund(didn't need it for initial charge) what a bunch of bullshit policy they get away with without prior notice. $50 to stress the pet for the over an hour and a half ordeal for the poor cat and the 4 minutes of the hospitals time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ORBMONEY AT THIS PLACE. Don't care how good the doctors may be, gouging uour customers is never a good policy! Update--- another girl than the one who was not pleasant responded to my comments, full refund and a ban from their services because I was unprofessional!!

I was seen by Dr. Svonavec and he was MORE informative than ANY of my previous vets I have seen! I have 7 cats total and most are seniors and super seniors with problems. My 1 cat at this visit has a thyroid problem while the other has a "mystery lump". I have had zero success with diagnosing both cats as well as NO direction from other vets UNTIL NOW! Even before bloodwork and test results we had a plan in play on what to do next. I am over the moon happy with this place and plan on taking ALL my cats here for evaluations and treatment as long as this doctor is still in practice!
