I…read moremoved from Halifax a short while ago and was scared to go to another hair dresser, because I heard so many things about Eccentric I decided to give it a shot. I LOVE the staff, I love the job they do and it's always fun when I go to get my hair done. All the stylists are very knowledgeable and they do the job right without taking any short cuts. I also had my makeup done there for a wedding trial and loved it. Eccentric is a professional studio and quite inexpensive based on what I usually pay. I am SO happy I found this little gem!!!!

I came for gel removal they told me the assistant is not trained to remove gel with the drill machine, when I asked why, she said because everyone is busy It took a very long time and they damaged my nail bed. After 10-15 minutes another co-worker/staff came with the drill machine to remove gel for ANOTHER employee/staff. Was this a joke? I was the only person who needed service regarding nails there... how come they don't provide professional services?

I went in for a trim. I was seated with a "stylist" named Julie. She barely spoke to me and…read morebutchered my hair. I went in with shoulder length hair. Walk out with choppy uneven hair with a few inches shaved down to the scalp. A stylist named Kelly tried to fix it. She appologized profusely and even teared up trying to help me. The man that works the front cash called me on Monday and was raising his voice, said I was being dramatic, its only hair it'll grow back. I have been wearing bandanas and hats because I am so embarrassed. My friend who is a retired stylist came to my home and did what she could. She was in shock saying she knew it was bad but she never imagined it was this bad. There is no excuse for what was done to me. I have a customer facing job where I need to look respectable. I now have a short haircut which will take years to grow back with a ton of hair just gone. I spent 3 days crying over what was done to me. The salons refusal gaslighting of the situation stating she did what I asked her to do and to get over it just shows how little they care. There is no accountability.
