I hired this company to build a simple fence to keep our dogs contained in a small area. 4ft tall…read moreand no larger than a small suburban backyard. I expected quality and got anything but. There is 16ft between each post causing the middle of the panels to sag and flex. The two gates are not square and latches were not even installed. The owner stated he doesnt buy latches for customers so we can buy our own and he would come back to install it (major red flag). Needless to say, we installed our own latches. This simple fence should have been a one day project but was extended out to two days due to the crews working about an hour at a time and them constantly running out of material needing to make the half hour trip into town. And work only seemed to become a priority once I raised concerns about completion. I'm kicking myself for paying over $6000 for something that I will probably end up having to complete redo in the next couple of years. Foley's Fencing should do us all a favor and remove the word "Fencing" from their name since they can barely do that.

He gave me 4 different prices for measurements that he hadn't even take, the one time he did measured the property, he was drunk. He ended up quoting me with a higher price going off of a hand drawing I had made. He was lying to me and my neighbor about the process updates. He was at my door every night for 4 days straight asking for money "to order material and work the ground". I gave him an advanced and he never even marked the property. It's been a week since he took my money and i can't get a hold of him because he won't pick up the phone. He has replied to a couple text messages and he always seems to have an excuse on why he isn't picking up the phone. He claims to have the best work and prices in town, but its hard to agree when you get all kinds of different values. He wouldn't take responsibility for any possible damages he may cause when digging, he said it would be all me. He couldn't even take care of calling the city to mark the utilities, my neighbor had to call and do it himself. He was very quick to ask for money and once he got some, i haven't seen him since. He had his truck parked outside the curb of my neighbors house while he was chatting and drinking in the back, well the truck started to roll down the street, thankfully there were no kids or people around when this happened, to include mine. Please avoid this person you don't want him around your property or your family.

When I got home, I only looked at the left side of the fence. The chain link doesn't go all the way to the ground, there's a section with no fence, and there are gaps by the poles and fence. One of the gates had wheels that worked great before the relocation, but they were removed because I was told they didn't work and didn't look good. He said he left them, but I haven't found them, and I'm upset with how the fence looks. I'm the only one who thinks it looks like trash. I have a small Chihuahua dog, and I'm concerned this fence won't keep other dogs out of the yard. The right-hand side is worse than the left. The gate is leaning so badly that the corner is almost on the ground. When you lift the gate, there's a big gap that a skinny person could fit through. Like the other side, the chain link fence doesn't go all the way to the ground. When I confronted him about this, he said the gates weren't built square. They wouldn't be, as they are cattle chain link gates that were bought, which he said makes it look worse. He mentioned that if I can come up with more money, he can put up some swing gates.
