Every time I would call or ask the front desk in person they'd tell me I need to talk to someone else. My psychiatrist even emailed them twice asking that they assign me one. I ended up seeing a therapist in another office and continued to see my psych at Judson center. She was filling out FMLA paperwork for accommodations to remain working from home, and one day she decides that I should return to office, against both my physical and mental wellbeing. My therapist agreed that she did not handle this properly and thankfully took over filing out my paperwork for me so that I can remain working from home. I have since left the office and found a new psych. I do NOT recommend going to this office. They also have lost my paperwork before and they do not return calls or messages. A complete lack of accountability.

I find our counselor(Dr Mijel) to be quite amazing, and she has helped us tremendously. Often throughout the different "topics" of marriage problems, usually one of the spouses truly does need to assume more responsibility. I have found our Doctor never fully chooses sides. Yes she gently tries to pull out the source, but ultimately, she chooses the marriage. Isn't that how a marriage counselor is supposed to be. I have had counselors in the past that push their own opinions onto me- which isn't always so good. She seems to understand that only the individual truly understands what is best for themselves, and she is there to help them discover that. She is a truly insightful doctor.

I was in a very fragile mental state & was recommended to one of the Dr's that support this clinic…read more I called to make an appointment with that Dr. & they neglected to tell me that he doesn't actually work in this office. They told me that I had to see another Dr. in the practice first which I thought was odd since I don't have an HMO but in my state I just accepted what they were saying & made the appointment. When I arrived I was thrown off because the lobby had Yoga info all over the place & a very outdated cold feeling waiting room with a rickety wood bench for 2. I met with a woman called Dr. Melissa who I later found out is a Social Worker & not a Dr. of any kind & while our therapy session was fine I wasn't sent to the Dr. I wanted to see, she asked if I wanted to start seeing her weekly & I told her no. I was very confused by all of this as I had made it very clear when I made this appointment that I wanted to see the other Dr. A couple weeks later I received a bill in the mail saying I owed $125 even though they told me before I came in that my insurance would cover it. After phone calls to this place, my insurance provider (where I got the phone number) as well as directly to the Dr. I had wanted to see it turned out that this place was a clinic that specializes in eating disorders & they should never have even seen me to begin with. According to the Dr. I wanted to see (he's the advising Dr. for the patients here as they can't prescribe anything) this place should have given me his number right when I called & said I wanted to see him. I also found out that my bill had been ran wrong & I didn't owe anything so the bottom line is, I felt like I had been taken advantage of in my fragile mental state. They gave me the run around, told me I "had" to see Melissa, billed me an extra $125 & then when I called to ask why they gave me the run around they blamed me for not telling Melissa I didn't really want to see her. I was able to get an appointment with the Dr. I wanted to see but due to summer vacation I had to wait 5 more weeks when I probably could have seen him right away when I tried & got sent here. It's been a couple weeks since I found all of this out & I'm still upset about all of it so this Dr. is going to have his work cut out for him now!!
