After having the pleasure of meeting Lucas over 5 years ago for a work event shoot, we have kept in touch for years, often running into each other at various events. Marrying my husband was the best decision I've ever made; second to that, was hiring Lucas. The #1 advice I got from brides was to hire a reputable photographer that is communicative, and is someone you and your fiancé like and trust. Besides your spouse, the photographer is the person you spend most of your wedding day with, so as silly as it sounds, liking your photographer makes all the difference in how comfortable you feel and therefore has a direct impact on how well your photos turn out. I know more than one bride who got married and didn't jive with their photographer 100%, and it's their biggest regret. Lucas commands a high fee, and once you work with him, you'll understand why. I feel lucky that we even were able to get Lucas for our date, because the really good photographers you realize tend to get booked up quickly. We had Lucas and his team for 9 hours and I've never seen someone work harder, get all the shots, be professional, make everyone feel comfortable, AND make it fun. From my initial email to now, more than a year after our wedding (when I have questions about all the photos I want to order), Lucas has been nothing short of amazing. From the moment I first spoke on the phone with Lucas, I knew he was the person we wanted to hire as our wedding photographer. Our conversation was so natural and authentic.
