I met Sara when she shot my brother's wedding. She was the most organized wedding photographer I'd ever seen! Hang tight, this will be a lengthy review, and I am not sorry for it Let me begin with a quote from my husband. "You know how you buy a picture frame from the store and there is a picture inside already, the display before you replace it and put your picture inside, that's what our pictures look like....too beautiful to be true!" We hired Sara to do a honeymoon photoshoot for us at the El Matador Beach in California. Speechless, I AM SPEECHLESS. She went above and beyond and captured more than our wildest dreams. She is prompt, she is genuine, she is passionate, she is incredibly social and knows how to get you out of your shell even if you feel you are the most unphotogenic person in the world. Sara definitely made it a very organic and natural experience and we honestly felt like we were just having a fun walk on the beach. A couple more pro's is she knows how to work with light and also to work with a million other photoshoots around us and somehow make us feel that we were the only ones on the beach. She was respectful of others but also isn't afraid to get in there. We chose to do a 30 minute session. I'm not trying to shy anyone away from longer photoshoots because Sara would most definitely have been able to get even more incredible shots, but also don't let the sound of a 30 minute session scare you. Sara was simply fantastic. I found her on Yelp, and hired her to take photos of the moment I got engaged. She was extremely responsive by email and text in the weeks and hours leading up to the big moment. She drove an hour each way to my LA location, and was sure to arrive half an hour early. I asked her to arrange some rocks into a heart, and they were waiting when we arrived! She remained out of sight to preserve the privacy of the moment, yet managed to capture dozens of perfect photos (and even video, simultaneously). After the proposal, she was as peppy and excited for us as anyone could be, and guided us through a delightful photo shoot in our first moments as an engaged couple. SARA is AMAZING! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!! My fiancé and I booked a quick trip to California to look at wedding venues and figured we should take advantage of being there for engagement photos for Save the Dates. I had spoken with a photography company and it left me feeling like our pictures would be very generic. So I searched on Yelp and I was so happy and relieved to find Sara and see her work on instagram. She quickly responded and we were able to secure a date! She sent tips on what to wear and when I described the type of shoot we were looking for she was able to scout a location for us ahead of time.
