Last Friday my pool pump decided it had had enough of the Texas heat and quit working. After speaking with a friend he suggested I contact Lucent pools. I called them at 3pm Friday afternoon and spoke with Justin. After describing the issue he stated it could be a couple things, but said he'd rather come take a look to make sure. He jus happen to be right around the corner!! And said he would swing by to confirm his thoughts. He arrived within about 30 mins informed me of the issue, made a few calls to find the part and had the correct part located within about 10 mins. Unfortunately the closet place was off 35 and there was no way to get there before they closed. Justin said he would be happy to get the part and install it saturday!! To say the least i was very impressed that he was even able to show up as quick as he did. By this time the pool was good and green after not having a pump on for about 3 days and the family was ready to be back in the pool!! Justin returned Saturday morning with the new part and had everything installed in about 2 hours. Did I mention he redid the plumbing to the pump, as mine was....well. less than fantastic:) I wanted to simply take a moment and thank Justin and Lucent pools for incredibly fast service with the customers needs in mind. We want to thank Lucent Pools for their help in making a complete pool remodel painless from beginning to end. Their entire team was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We contracted Lucent Pools to repair the structural cracks in our pool. Duane and his crew did an outstanding job using Carbon Fiber to repair the cracks in the gunite structure of our pool. A different crew removed 3 layers of plaster; another crew replaced the coping and the tile. Both of these crews did a great job and we were very happy with the final results. Justin and Richard recommended using Pebble Sheen as our new pool surface and helped select our new pool surface color. We were very happy with our choice, it looks great. Nick applied the mastic and did an excellent job on all the follow up work in starting up the new pool. Justin made sure everything ran smoothly and always answered our questions either by text or phone. He was always available to ease our minds. We were impressed with the timely manner things were completed. Justin always came by to inspect the progress during and after each step was completed. We wish to express our gratitude to Justin, Nick, Richard, Duane and each person involved in completing this job. We are very pleased with our completed pool and already enjoying it. My pool plumbing has been an ugly mess since I moved into this place, and it was made worse by Madisun Holtzman , whom I hired to do a booster pump installation after the Feb. '21 freeze. (he refused to make a return call 7 weeks later when it had caused major leaking claiming that a leak doesnt' start out small and grow.. though it was obviously caused by him stripping connector threads and worse). I was driven to request a total re-plumbing of the mess from Lucent; Nick completed that work yesterday, correcting additional problems as he came across them. I can't begin to express how grateful I am for the great-looking job, and it is pretty obvious that my system will be working much more efficiently in the future. I enjoy (and can better afford) taking care of regular pool chores by myself, but now I can rest assured that after 14 years with different outfits here I have found the pool service that will actually do much good, rather than harm, for the important jobs. read more

I'd priced out several companies and Lucent had the best prices I'd had quoted so I tried them out. It's been a year and a half now and I am sort of shocked at how consistent and thorough they are. Their service techs are always professional and come on the same day every week, without fail. Even during Christmas Eve, I saw them out in my yard. Last summer one of the techs even got rid of a wasp's nest I had on the side of my house for me. Just all around great people at Lucent. Pool is always clear, always well kept. I've got three young children and have a fence installed and they have never forgotten to make sure it's secured. Safety is a top priority. I have been using the Lucent Pool professionals for quite some time now and couldn't be more pleased with their friendly and knowledgeable service. Recently when on vacation, my neighbor who was checking on my pool, texted me the motor stop working. I in turn sent a message to Lucent. They were out that day to .evaluate the problem, ordered the part and put it in the next day. My neighbor was impressed with their level of service and plans to use them as well for his pool needs. I purchased a filter clean Groupon from Lucent Pools. They were very professional and got to me promptly. I called and set up my filter clean with Sarah who was extremely professional and polite. They came out the next day and allowed me to hang around while the filter was being cleaned. Did everything that I asked and even helped me with another issue I was having with my pump and didn't even charge me. I would highly recommend using Lucent Pools. Lucent Pools provides excellent customer service. Originally I used them just for pool maintenance but my pool was having issues and I had to get a few things replaced. The prices were competitive but you can't beat the service here. They have a super friendly staff and I have referred a few friends to them and they all have received the same awesome experience.
