My family bought a 15K hot tub for our lake house. When ordering the hot tub, we discussed with the sales man for speakers and being able to remotely turn on the hot tub. Post installation and pool school, there is no remote turn on. This was discussed with the owner and he notes that it was not in the order form and we did not read the contract closely enough. Alright? But again, we worked with a sales person and we would not know how to look for that within the sales document. Now a year later, we cannot get in the hot tub unless someone sleeps at the lake house over night and turns it on at 9 am since we cannot turn it on remotely. So, beware of the salesman. Also, at the time of purchase it was 2024, why sell anything without Bluetooth? Also we had to have two pool schools because the first person who arrived did not how to even use our salt hot tub. read more

This is no doubt an expected review for Jim and Levin after a very unpleasant hour and a half attempting to resolve a simple issue. It went south quickly and after I asked twice who I needed to speak with to end our service the call ended with Jim saying, "No, you're fired as a customer!" and hanging up. Levin emailed and said Jim was his military buddy and even though we had been clients since 2019 it was just as well we parted way. Jim made it clear they were having difficulty with their staff and had let go many people for incompetence. I am fairly sure that each of them came to my house. The cleaning "team" uses a swipe right app and indicates they have taken care of things that our spa does not have. What could have been a very quick courteous call to say I have the new filter right inside the door and a quick maintenance question turned into a very challenging afternoon. You notice that it says in the checklist that they check equipment. WRONG. When I asked if they could look at the temperature setting because it was running cold and I thought it might not be getting electricity Stephanie said ALL She does is clean and doesn't know anything about that. Of course, Jim offered a $90 service call. Nope, they don't clean the waterline. Nope, they did not clean behind pillows because I have none. Straight up I do not enjoy the "ma'am, I understand you are getting upset and if you would just let ME talk," type of customer service. I much prefer brief conversations and quick resolutions. And yes, Jim, felt I was condescending when he said he couldn't remember the list of 3 things I wanted to address uninterrupted and I suggested a pencil and piece of paper would be a great solution. My recent experience with Texas Leisure Spa and Pool Company left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. Their woeful mismanagement and lack of concern for customer satisfaction left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. From the very beginning, attempting to communicate with their so-called "Service Manager" was an exercise in futility. When I initially called to schedule a service appointment for my hydro pool, the service manager at the Hurst location quoted me $150 for a technician to assess the issue. However, she failed to inquire about important details regarding the spa's purchase, warranty status, or even its location. This lack of attention to detail set the tone for the entire ordeal. Upon the technician's arrival, instead of properly assessing the spa, he immediately deemed it necessary to remove deck slats to access the control panel. This decision was made without attempting to locate an existing access panel. Despite my attempts to communicate with the technician directly, I was repeatedly stonewalled by the unhelpful service manager. Subsequently, I followed the technician's misguided advice and incurred additional expenses by hiring a handyman to remove the deck slats. Despite providing ample photographic proof that the deck slats were removed and there was enough space for tech to access the control panel, the service manager remained unresponsive and did not provide me with an appointment. Furthermore, when I requested a refund for the $150 service fee, given that the technician performed no actual work, the service manager adamantly refused, demonstrating a complete lack of accountability and customer care. Attempting to escalate the issue to the owner proved equally fruitless, as the service manager was evasive and uncooperative in providing contact information. This lack of transparency and accountability speaks volumes about the company's overall ethos. In conclusion, I caution anyone considering Texas Leisure Pools & Spas for their pool or spa needs to proceed with extreme caution. The incompetence and apathy demonstrated by their staff, particularly the service manager, are indicative of a company that prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. Save yourself the frustration and seek out a more reputable and customer-oriented service provider. @Owner Thanks for your quick response You are not getting my point. Homeowners are not stupid enough to build such an expensive deck around the hot tub without leaving any space to access the panel. There is an access panel that your tech didn't notice/access and unnecessarily recommended me to remove my deck slats. I am sorry if you were informed by your so-called service manager that I am asking you to remove my deck! That's what happens when you don't communicate with me, the customer, directly and only listen through the walls. And to let you know, neither the tenant nor I have called any other company yet for a service appointment. It's been years since it was serviced. You were the first company to call only because the tub was purchased from you. I used TX Leisure for pool cleaning and they did anything but. They were supposed to come every week and I was lucky if they came once a month. When they did come, they were here for less than 5 minutes. I had to call the office on a weekly basis to complain. Not only was my pool green and filthy, they blamed me that I had too many trees in my yard. They also broke my pump (likely on purpose). After I finally fired them, I had to install security cameras around the house for fear that they would come back and cause more damage. I wouldn't wish the stress they caused me on anyone. I give two stars based on the tech Bobby. Class act. Overpriced components and hidden fees. Diagnostic charges are on top of any work done. Was scheduled on a Tuesday, no call, no show, called to find out rescheduled to Saturday. We ordered a hot tub cover months ago. We have been waiting for weeks for it to be delivered. This is the third time we have had a day and time scheduled and they are a no-show. The first time we were told the driver's truck broke down and he should have contacted us for rescheduling. The second time we were told the driver was sick and should have contacted us to reschedule. Today they haven't shown up again and when we try to call the store to see what has happened this time they do not answer the phone (although they are supposed to be open) and when we call the driver no one answers. read more

We purchased a new spa from them back in October. We found their communication lacking and we had an issue with our delivery that resulted in a broken cover clip. When we ordered our hot tub we were told it should be delivered before thanksgiving. It didn't arrive until mid December. Not great but not really and issue with the exception that I had to email them a few times to get the status of the delivery. It generally took 2-3 days to get a response, and on at least one occasion, I had to send the same message twice to even get a response. On the day of delivery, the driver was over an hour past the scheduled window. He did call and apologize, but said he could deliver late or we would have to go back into the delivery que to reschedule. I chose deliver late, and was able to let them in and get started on the delivery, however, I could not stay the entire time due to work. He said not to worry about it, they'll make sure everything was good before leaving. Again, generally not a big deal because things usually go smooth. However, in this case, one of clips on the cover was damaged. I noticed the damage on my first inspection and notified both the delivery company and TX Leisure within two hours after delivery. Their initial response was we'll "make sure we get one ordered and on the schedule to be repaired for you". Never heard from them again with regards to the repair. So I had to email them again, which was about a month later, and their response was "My apologies, cover clips are not covered under warranty." Its unfortunate that these situations arise and I was looking forward to developing a good relationship with a local business to take care of our current a future spa needs. However, due to their lack of communication and refusal to take care of a simple and inexpensive repair that occurred on the delivery day, I would not recommend this company for your spa needs. read more

Texas Leisure did my weekly pool maintenance for over a year, I have to say that the service was never great. Tech attrition was constant and most techs were not very knowledgeable, instead their visits were often very routine and not proactive to the issues the pool had, for example algae. Consequently my pool started developing algae where before it had none (there are no trees near the pool and it lies in direct sunlight all day). Moreover sometimes the technician was sick or did not come, nonetheless they charged the same amount. The last communication I received from them was announcing a 40% increase in service cost. Based on my experience I do not recommend this company. This picture is the result of their weekly cleanings, the broken tile is a result of their tech stepping on the tub wall with boots. Enter Covid-19 and California (which is where our spa was sitting) shutting down. Leven went above and beyond, making calls to the spa's president to ensure we receive what we payed for. It took a long, long time and I know it wasn't a fun process for him, because many walls were being hit, yet he never relented. Initially, I was impressed as they called right back, made a quick appointment and put a band-aid on our broken spa. But it's been almost 7 weeks now and it's still not been repaired permanently. They have missed an appointment, showed up with inexperienced workers who weren't prepared with tools to move the spa for repairs, and are still putting us off. It's now off the pad and sitting there empty in the middle of our patio. I hate giving negative reviews but I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through all of this. This company proved to be a complete waste of time and money for me. Each visit they would ask me to modify my deck so it gave complete access to the spa. I did so I some expense. Finally one of the service people actually dug into the foam to identify the source of the leak as one of the jets. They tried to glue it back together but that failed.
