The wifey put me in charge of Entertainment for our wedding last weekend. It was pretty stressful for me, since I've seen horrible, horrible DJs at other weddings. My wife is also really into dancing, DJs, and nightlife, so you can probably image how hard it was for this nerdy homebody to find an "awesome DJ". I probably called a dozen DJ companies before coming across LA Allstars. I e-mailed Denna a couple times and worked out a contract. She was very responsive and was easy to get a hold of. I think there was only 2 DJs left on the day of our wedding and we decided to go with DJ BCC ROKKA (since the other guy specialized in trance). I know this sounds kind of flaming, but DJ BCC ROKKA is a good looking dude. I was worried about getting a 50-year old DJ that played hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. On the day of, DJ BCC ROKKA (or Byran) was very punctuational and extremely professional. What I really liked about him is that he can really think on his toes. For those who haven't taken the plunge, there's a lot that can go wrong at a weddings. In our case, there was a minor hiccup, but Bryan really took charge and fixed things on the spot. He improvised and really delivered a solid party for our guests. I highly recommend these guys, they're really professional and knows how to throw a party at a very competitive price. About my credentials: People tell me that I'm a really lucky person. I'm beginning to feel that way. I'm not really into dancing, DJs, etc. so I can't really speak much on experience. However, I definitely think I lucked out and booked one of the best DJs I've ever seen.

When we hired Brian, we didn't expect him to MC part of our reception. But he automatically stepped up to the task, and incorporated wonderful music in the process!!! Brian totally got our flow, and we hadn't met with him in person prior to our wedding. We only communicated by email, and he was super easy to work with. On the day of, he showed up on time, played some cool hits to get our guests in the mood, and totally engaged our guests with our reception events!!! He did some great announcements, got the crowd pumped, and didn't play tacky songs like the Chicken Dance or Hokey-Pokey. He had good taste in music; playing a variety of Top 40, hip-hop, and pop. As a wedding planner myself, I had worked with Michelle and Ian previously and found them to be so sweet and easy to work with as well as extremely professional. They created the PERFECT playlist and had my guests on the dancefloor literally the entire night. I added a live Saxophone which was the perfect addition. He was incredible. Michelle was so flexible with all my crazy song choices, a few which weren't easy to find, as well as my idea to have a re-introduction when I chopped off my hair during the reception and came back out in a sequin jumpsuit.
