These guys are a sham! I booked them 3 weeks in advance for my Dad's 70th birthday party. Domingo agreed for the band to play at the party which was being held in Orange County. My mom called a week later and confirmed with Domingo that his band would be playing. Three days before my Dad's party I get a phone call from a random guy Ramiro, saying he's Domingo's friend and that his band would be playing instead because Domingo's band can't play my party. Ramiro was going to charge me more money for his band and he didn't even have any videos or reviews on his band. I called Domingo to confirm this and he said his band couldn't play. I was so upset but I was so lucky to find another band on such a short notice on GigSalad. I should've known from some of the other reviews that these guys are shady. read more

Mariachi Consentido was punctual and amazing. We had previously booked another Mariachi a week in advance that ended up canceling 15 mins before the scheduled time. We called Mariachi consentido and they made it happen!!! This was my dads bday surprise and I can't eveb express how thankful I am that they made it happen. I am very conflicted, I had called and requested their services from 9:30-10:30am on Mother's Day but they did not arrive until around 1pm. My Mother had already left to work so she did not see the Mariachi. The group pictured on Yelp did not show up. It was a different mariachi group and only 4 musicians came, no violinist. Domingo was not present and out of touch with what was going on during our phone calls. They tried to change the price at the end of the service from $350 to $550 because it's Mother's Day. I told them I understood what day it was but was not told that when I first called. I would advise to get confirmation as I never got a text confirmation, everything was verbal. Hoping they aren't conducting business without confirmations. Although I did not get exactly what I thought I was getting it sure was a nice surprise lol, the group Domingo sourced was great! Domingo provided me with one of the musicians number and I was in contact with him to ensure he was coming. The group mentioned they were behind on schedule and you could tell they were working really hard. So now I'm not sure who I will get if I'd like to book them again at the $350 rate. read more

Bad service i don't know who handles this band but I contacted them a month in advance for a party I was having they confirmed that they were available the date I told them gave them the time and address I also asked them if they needed a deposit and they said no. The day of the party 30 minutes past by the time they were supposed to arrive no one showed up. I sent them a message no answer until we called them and all they said was "oh I don't know what happened but we're at another party right now" said they can be here for two hours at a later time. We agreed to that sent them the address again. Then they texted us saying they didn't have a band available they couldn't locate one so there was nothing they can do. What kind of service is this. DONT BOOK THEM!! I booked this mariachi group for a surprise birthday party. 1 week before the event, I received a call from one of the group members asking if I could change my event time because they had just booked another event. When I told them I wasn't able to since it was for a surprise birthday, he said he would reach out to the other party. When I didn't hear back I assumed everything was ok. I called to confirm to make sure everything was fine the week of my event, they said they were sorry but they were cancelling because I "didn't want to change my time". This was the WEEK OF THE EVENT! They didn't even have the decency to call me back to let me know WHEN THEY decided to bail on me! I'm sure if they would have called me a lot sooner I would have been able to find a replacement but sadly everyone else was all booked and we had no mariachi for the event. So do yourself a favor and book someone else! If they've done it once, I'm sure they'll do it again! read more

I hired this Mariachi band for my moms 70th, based on the ratings here since the one i usually hire was not available. Prior to the event, I communicated clearly and several times with Domingo who was the main contact person. First he confirmed that there were 6 members in the band, and then assured me that they knew almost all the songs from a list i sent him. He said i had nothing to worry about and that everything was going to be fine. Well the day of the event they arrived practically rushing into the party and with only 5 members. They Hardly knew any of the songs on the list and wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what songs they did know period! On top of that the sound was horrible. They used a mic and speaker that was dull and un projective. Domingo croaked at singing and in playing the trumpet, it was bad! They were supposed to be the highlight of my moms special day and completely ruined it! I was stupid to hire them but more stupid to have paid their rate when clearly they should have given me a big discount but i did not want any drama or start any argument so i just paid them and got it over with! But big lesson learned! I will never hire any band again without actually hearing them and seeing them perform. Its not worth it, especially when its for a special occasion! read more

Do not hire this Mariachi they where suppose to be at 6PM and the came late! On top of that they hardly knew any songs! The singer and the trumpeter sounded horrible they had a speaker that was making horrible noises! Never again! I paid them because I didn't want trouble! If you want a good Mariachi and not be embarrassed don't hire them! They probably are more than 5 people in the band and they split to play at different parties!
