Then proceeded to tell me that I would be charged if they couldn't change an air filter. The home I moved into had an insane amount wrong with it broken doors, dirty, trash left outside, broken washer, broken toilet that I had to fix myself w/ water turned off to that toilet, trash in garage, broken closet etc now has broken garage door. Paying 1500/month or so in a nice neighborhood in Edmond. Before moving in a tenant all should be in working order and clean. Moved in in NOVEMBER and stuff from my original maintenance request still isn't fixed. It's funny they tell me they have a good reputation but I hear from people coming to fix my stuff that they are horrible. GOOOD LUCK! ****update**** they did end up apologizing changing all of the locks and fixing my garage door after much complaining. I changed the stars to 3. I do now feel more safe even though this should have never happened they did address the issues.

I rented a home from Homeworx this last year, and I want to caution everyone to stay far away from…read morethis company. We had some minor issues during the year (including a leaking window that we were promised was fixed, but ruined some of our furniture during a thunderstorm, and an improperly installed heating system that caused our upstairs to be over 80 degrees when it was running) but I completely understand that sometimes things happen and I wasn't too worried. However, during the move-out process, I was made aware that the home would need to be fully cleaned for us to receive our full deposit. To ensure reception of our deposit, I hired a professional cleaning company that cleaned the full house thoroughly, as well as cleaning appliances. After the company was finished, I walked through the house myself to ensure the job was well done. The house was extremely clean, including appliances. When we received our security deposit, a total of $484 had been taken off for house cleaning. I spent nearly two weeks emailing back and forth with a Homeworx employee who could not answer why we were charged so much money when the house had been cleaned. I provided receipts as well, and they were ignored. Finally, I asked the employee for reimbursement for the cleaning agency we hired, and I was ignored. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but in this case we are now out nearly $900 for cleaning an 1100 sq ft house, which is unacceptable. I have several friends who are in the process of renting, and I have warned them all away from Homeworx, and will continue to do so.
