I personally don't get my nails done often and so I found their service to be comforting and interactive because they asked me questions on what color I would be interested in and etc. I don't quite remember the actual total cost of everything but it was comparably cheaper than other places that I usually get my nails done at. Environment: A little hole in the wall, not a ton of space but it was fairly clean. The items used were sterilized and I did not find any red alerts in regards to their cleanliness. Van is the only one I go to now. I have had terrible experiences at other locations (being hurt over and over again) that left me a bit traumatized. Van has never hurt me, always takes her time to ensure that everything is perfect. I am no longer afraid of being hurt and can finally relax knowing that I am in good hands. read more

Love it here! I had acrylic gel fill-ins and i went to a water park so one slightly chipped it wasn't even worth fixing and they touched up all my nails it was so thoughtful. Having just recently moved to Galloway, I've been in search of local spots. I'm very happy to have found Lucky Nail Spa! The staff is kind, patient, and attentive. The spa is clean and attractive. They have by far the most color options I've found. They have a rewards program that's easy to enroll in (just name and phone number). I would suggest calling and making an appointment as they are quite popular. I'm sorry I did not get the name of the incredible woman who did my nails. The nails look amazing I am very happy with them it cost $40 I was there for about 2 hours because I was with a friend and the same guy was doing both our nails, but I don't know why because there was another lady there that could have done one of our nails while the guy does the other girl. I paid for a full set gel manicure, pedicure, and a Brazilian wax (total $110 including tip - which I probably shouldn't have left any). Did not get what I asked for the shape is wrong, the color is wrong, the filling was too thick and it was a very painful experience. After mostly the good reviews I decided to try this place and it was an utter disaster. The techs name was Mimi, she was very nice but does not have the skills, in my opinion to do nails. I had to pay another place (tulip nails - Ann was a life saver there) another 30$ to fix my manicure after I left here. So this whole experience cost me almost $150. So I decided to get a Brazilian wax as well ($45) for the most painful experience I have ever had (and I wax every 4 weeks for the past 7 years). Mimi tried to smear, nearly dry wax over and over by my vagina. There were a few times where she missed when she pulled the wax paper and I felt my skin ripped and raw. She kept asking me to pull and hold my skin because she couldn't spread the wax (well no sh**, cause it's almost dry!) so after a very very painful 40 minutes (which could've been done in 15-20) I went and got toes painted and my manicure, which I posted for you below. I did not get what I asked for at all. I should've got up and left after that wax, but I didn't think my manicurist would be the same Person what waxed me. My biggest mistake was staying another hour to get my nails done because the results were unacceptable. I do not recommend this place, neither will I return. I would however reconnect envy spa and Ann (and only Ann, not Judy) at tulips nails in mays landing. read more

Do not waste your time going here unless you want chipped nails not even a week after you got them done. I had an acrylic refill done on Thursday and by Saturday a part of my thumb nail had chipped. I assumed it could have been something that I did, but when three more nails started to chip I knew it was not my fault. All my friends go there too, there nails are also chipping now, what a rip off. I showed early for my appt and was taken to the pedicure chair immediately. I had Mimi. She's very sweet and did an amazing job with my manicure and pedicure. I've had some bad experiences lately by other nail salons so I've gotten fearful of ending up with cuts, nicks, or some type of injury to my toes. Mimi was thorough and gentle. My feet are smooth and look great with no pain or injury inflicted. I'm extremely ticklish and she held my foot in a way that minimized the ticklish feeling. Wonderful nail salon!! This salon has always been very clean, but since opening under COVID-19 restrictions, the sanitation is impeccable. The staff also does a great job of practicing social distancing, which is difficult to do while painting nails! They follow the guidelines very well all while still making you feel comfortable. Tim does an excellent job on my friend's nails! Visited with a friend, who is a regular. I failed to get my tech's name, but still impressive I had a gel color and the product, Perfect Match, lasted a month without chipping! That included washing dishes without gloves a few times. Have not experienced a product of this caliber since a gel application in Cali. The people there are pleasant and friendly. They have many colors and different gel brands to select from. They applied color to the entire nail, complete coverage, no spillage on sides or overlap that would lift, no unpainted areas. Really liked this salon. read more

I started going to this salon because a bunch of girls I work with raved about it. I had heard that it now has new management and wanted to try it out. I've been going here since February and have NEVER had an issue with nails lifting or breaking off (unless it's my doing just being reckless). I always get comments on how awesome they look. My polish never chips or bubbles, and my nails always look flawless. They do EXACTLY what I want every single time. I have been to many salons in the area and nothing has ever stuck (Pinky's, Hale, Diane's Oriental, Linda's). I've always had some kind of issue. I honestly never had one complaint about Lucky. I recently just got my first pedicure here (in 7 months) after a terrible experience at Pinky's, and it was fantastic. Love this place and I suggest it to everyone!! read more

I've gone to Lucky Nail a few times, and each time, I've been serviced by Van. She is FANTASTIC!! She gives the best pedicure I've ever had, and I've been getting them done for years at other places. Van does my gel manicure too, and it last longer than normal, which is about 3-4 weeks. I love that she makes color suggestions when I can't find the exact match for my fingers and toes. I've also gotten a manicure by Tim and Amy, their good too. Lucky Nails is always clean, provides a good relaxing atmosphere with TV's and lovely surroundings including ample parking!! Worst decision every to come here.The manicurist didn't fill in my entire nail when I had asked her to. When I said again it wasn't filled in she gave be an attitude about it and said "Under the light it'll be there." I am not an idiot, the acrylic would not just magically appear under the light if she didn't fill it in. They are crooked and look like I have had them for a week already. I got gel polish and it is already chipping and I can see through my nail polish. I asked for matte black nails and got shiny black I also showed her a picture of what I wanted and did not receive what I asked for. The manicurist also cut my finger while doing y nails and I was in pain the entire time. I want to take these nails off as soon as possible they look horrible. Do not go here if you need nails for a specific occasion because you will be disappointed. read more

I have taken my daughters to Lucky Nails before and one liked it and wanted to go back but the other one preffers to go to Pinky's where her friends suggest is much better. When we went to pay, the lady in charge said that will be $25 plus $5 extra for length. After paying, I asked her out of curiosity if she could show me on the pricing board where it lists extras and she pointed to the board that it was $25 for a full set (which is a fair price), and I repeated, "but where's the extra shown" and she very matter of factly said "it's not up there but that's what it is". I told her it seemed a little unfair that it's not listed, but she was fine just letting us walk out the door with not so much as a I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, thank you or even goodbye. If this is her business, then she is free to run it any way she see's fit, however, with the lack of consumer traffic in that area, I think the goal would be to strive for repeat customers. I'm sure no one minds paying extra if it's justified and documented but just throwing out an amount off the top of your head, seems like a shady business practice.
