The team at Escape was phenomenal, this was a holiday gift for my twin 17-year-old daughters and my 19-year-old daughter, and Escape did not disappoint. We did a massage, mani and pedi, and for my girls this was their very first massage. They each came out of their massage looking dazzled with relaxation, and all of their nails look gorgeous too. I'm not one to leave reviews, especially negative ones, but I feel a word of caution is necessary. I used Escape for a makeup trial the day of my bridal shower... it didn't turn out great. The owner was very kind and made adjustments when needed but the overall application was seriously lacking. My makeup was caked on, not blended, and just overall unattractive. Long story short, I ended up going home, taking all of my makeup off, and redoing it myself. read more

Signature facial was great! Very steamy, exfoliating, and relaxing. Little rough during extractions but I needed it. Arm massage during masque portion of the facial was simple but made me happy. To start, I'm not one to usually write reviews but I feel as though it is necessary to do so for this business because other brides should be aware. Rachel who is the owner is very easy going and friendly this has nothing to do with her character or her employees. I must say though I was worried after my mock trial for my hair and makeup for my wedding. My makeup was blotchy and did not match my skin tone and my mascara had really bad fallout and I feel as though my drugstore makeup I buy from Walgreens is better than what they used. I did contact Rachel in regards to my concerns and she refunded me for my makeup trial and offered to make it right and do my makeup the day of my wedding. Since my wedding was in 3 days I didn't have much choice. The makeup she did the day of was just okay. There was really nothing to ride home about and both of my bridesmaids agreed but the the MAJOR problem we all had was run off from the slightest bit of tear or moisture. I looked like a mess after my ceremony and to be honest I really wasn't crying that much. You would think a makeup artist that focuses on wedding makeup it would be able to withstand some amount of crying which wasn't the case AT ALL. I'm writing this for other brides to be aware of the quality of makeup she uses. I also want to mention I was airbrushed. And to touch up she would just add another layer by the time she left I had a good 5 layers on my face which made any sort of crying look 10x worse. I'm a little disappointed and probably recommend going to a different place for these service for future brides. read more

I am a fan of escape beauty and the girls who work there. They are very warm and put their clients at ease quickly. I first found them when my friend got married. They did a great job with my hair and makeup. I got married last summer on a hot hot day and crystal went out of her way to make sure I was happy with my hair. I really loved the natural lion of their airbrush make up as well. The owner is very hands on and want her brides to be happy. I used escape beauty boutique for my wedding day hair and makeup. I am so upset with what happened with my hair. I wanted a half up half down style with the bottom curled. The top came out very nice, but my curls didn't even last 5 minutes. I curl my hair almost every day at home, and even brought my own hairspray that works great for my hair and holding my curls. My stylist mentioned her dismay for the brand that I had brought, and I guess decided to just not use any spray at all. After putting my veil in and going to take a "getting ready" picture I already notice it's not holding. They already packed everything up and we're heading out the door when I asked for some pieces to be recurled. She recurled a few pieces on one side and ran out. I was already running late for my first look with my groom. By time I walked over to meet him my hair was totally flat on one side and half curled on the other. I was so disappointed. I didn't have time to go back and fix it myself until we got back to the bridal suite right before the ceremony where my maid of honor curled all my hair for me and had to reset my veil because it kept falling out. With a little hairspray my curls kept their hold all night. I'm just so upset because so many great photos were ruined because of my hair. And having spent so much money on a hair trial and the wedding day services I expected so much better. I a so disappointed and can't even look at some of my pictures without getting upset because everything else was perfect. As a bride you spend so much time planning this day and to end up unhappy with how you looked on it is the biggest disappointment. read more
