So, I pawned my heavy ass gold chain for 600$, no questions asked etc, and the guy explained the interest amount etc, and I was fine with it back on September. On Sept 28, not even a month after I pawned it, I brought 360$ and the guy "RICHARD" took my original ticket and gave me a receipt for what I paid that day with the remainder which was another 360$. I said fine, and then proceeded to highlight the remaining amount along with the next due date , WHICH IS HIGHLIGHTED FOR 12/31/2018! . So I come in today to get it out, and they literally told me I owed an additional 120 + 120 ( for two months ) PLUS an additional 30$!!!!! WTF!!! When I told the manager his was a mistake he told me he was gonna Work with, took my ticket, called NOBODY!, and then straight up told me to my face that there was NOTHING he could do. I refuse to do business with people who do BOT appreciate customers who come back. I'm not a crack head ---! The manager at hand today was a so called JASON, I've seen him before there and I guess he acted like it was my first time in. This isn't my first rodeo nor my first pawn, ofcourse there was something he could do. The only option he gave me was to get it out for the full amount and then RE-PAWN IT!!! BOY BYE!! SMH!!! Damn thieves. I only do business with places who value me as a customer and my $. Hopefully someone higher up in the chain, will reach out to me to resolve this. DONT come HERE! I could have probably overlooked the disorderly squallier of the place and the fact that most of…read morethe goods looked as if were picked from a local dump, but what I can't overlook is that the fact that the place is dirty. Some of the stuff has obviously just sat there for years with nobody having dusted or cleaned anything including the floor. The name Discount Pawnbrokers also doesn't ring right with me when out front they have signs indicating that the name of the business might be Two Guys Pawn. So, whether it is in fact Two Guys Pawn or Discount Pawnbrokers is tough to say. But, since the name Discount Pawnbrokers was listed on Yelp, I went with that. The place is also kind of creepy and spooky as it has a real bad city ghetto looking entrance with bars all over the place, a remote door opening and a big sign that says "No Loaded Guns." Though seemingly in a safe area, the place makes you feel that your chances of getting mugged or robbed are an overwhelming probability.

I've had my fair share of pawn shop visits back in the day, and i have usually felt like I was being "taken advantage of", whether I was pawning or purchasing.
