I visited Two Guys recently for the first time. I needed to sell one of my guitars and other music memorabilia, that I thought had little to no value. I was wrong not only do they know their product, they give you a good price. I could not believe the amount of money I walked out of there with!!!! I just would like to thank the Two Guys there who actually listened to how much cash I wanted to walk away with. I could have probably overlooked the disorderly squallier of the place and the fact that most of the goods looked as if were picked from a local dump, but what I can't overlook is that the fact that the place is dirty. Some of the stuff has obviously just sat there for years with nobody having dusted or cleaned anything including the floor. The name Discount Pawnbrokers also doesn't ring right with me when out front they have signs indicating that the name of the business might be Two Guys Pawn. So, whether it is in fact Two Guys Pawn or Discount Pawnbrokers is tough to say. But, since the name Discount Pawnbrokers was listed on Yelp, I went with that. The place is also kind of creepy and spooky as it has a real bad city ghetto looking entrance with bars all over the place, a remote door opening and a big sign that says "No Loaded Guns." Though seemingly in a safe area, the place makes you feel that your chances of getting mugged or robbed are an overwhelming probability. read more

I came to Two Guys Discount Pawn with a friend of mine who was interested in a bass that they had for sale there. This is a pawn shop, so when it comes to their inventory and/or how it is displayed, it is of no consequence to me. Hal and Brett, who own the shop, were very polite and answered any questions we had as best they could. I've had my fair share of pawn shop visits back in the day, and i have usually felt like I was being "taken advantage of", whether I was pawning or purchasing. I got a really chill and honest vibe from these guys. My friend didn't feel like he was being ripped off, in fact, he got a GREAT deal on a good instrument. If I ever have any unwanted engagement rings or anything of the sort that I want to sell, I'll be coming back to these guys. Thanks again for the great service and honest input!! read more

I found a musical instrument I wanted on craigslist. I replied with an interest in the item and an offer. I received a response accepting the offer, an address, and available times but no phone number. I drove an hour to find the address is a pawn shop, which is fine. I go inside and asked about the instrument. He scurried around the place confused and said he sold it already. I understand that happens and I did wait a few days. He showed me two beat up flutes I had no interest in. I expressed my frustration about coming down there but he turned it back on me and said I should have called, Huh? I didn't have a contact number nor knew it was Two guys pawnshop. So how was I suppose to call. If he sold it, could the guy not email me back. My suggestion is that they should stay away from online selling and stick to in-store sales only. read more
