I walked in, no one greeted me or made me feel welcome or anything, not thats important but when I walked up to the waitress and asked "if i just sit down" She said yes but you can tell she is stressed out and over worked. So, I Sat down asked for the buffet, Walked over for a look and checked it out... it is exactly as the guy described. Too few anything floating in sauce, not the kind of rice I like and not the best looking chow mein at all. A few Samoan sized patrons were grazing away on these meager bits left in the pans, and I think I counted 8 items plus dessert. I'm sorry after eating at buffets in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver with 50 or more for the same money I couldn't go on - even though this a company paid meal, I couldn't waste the money. It's sad... I hope they make it better and do well. So, I grabbed my stuff and politely left. Maybe some locals think this is good Chinese, but by vancouver or coastal standards - it looked very unappetizing. Why waste your money on this when there are a lot of great restaurants in this town?

The place doesn't look like much from the outside, only because it's attached to a petrol station. Don't let that fool you, this is an uuuupscale market. Not only did I find a breakfast bagel that turned out to be the best I've ever tasted, but I found some delightful frufru juice to wash it all down. The sandwich: Egg, cheese, Canadian bacon, and some magical tomato-y? sauce smashed between a poppyseed bun ... Seriously, the best I've ever devoured. I took one bite and I'm pretty sure my eyes popped out of my head at the same moment my brain was thinking "what is this sorcery!?" Tip: They will heat the sammie up for you at the coffee counter.
