So many changes had to be made multiple times, and I am amazed by how smoothly things ran anyways on my wedding day. Tara's bubbly and upbeat personality was also such a help to me during an incredibly stressful time of changes. My parents also were absolutely thrilled with her and all of the planner's help. In addition, she did a great job pulling things together that I left very open ended (I frequently said things like, can we just make it like, nice, and wedding ish? And they came out fabulous!) In the end our Wedding was beautiful and memorable in a good way despite world circumstances. Thanks again to Premier Party Planners!

She gave her input on different ideas and worked within our budget. My Husband and I didn't stress about anything. I felt like the attention she gave me that I was the only bride she was dealing with. She kept me updated with her conversations with other vendors. She was extremely efficient with responding to my questions. and emails. Looking back, I do not know how people plan weddings without a professional planner. I am so happy Nicole planned my reception, and she will be used again. Obviously, not for another wedding of mine, but future showers and parties.

Planning couldn't have been easier- our coordinator was very easy to reach and always quick with an answer with any questions we had. The venue is charming and the roof top view is stunning. We chose to have a "Before They Say I Do BBQ" and the deck provided a nice space to set up stations for our caterer. The list of vendors provided by Empire Eats made providing linens and any items needed easy to set up. The only suggestions we would offer is know in advance that this is the top floor of The Stockroom. If there are 2 events scheduled, you'll be sharing the only elevator with the other venue. Loading and unloading prior and after the event can be a bit tricky. There is no designated area loading zone. Be sure to ask in advance for a cart and it will be provided. Also, if you're having a summer event, know that it can be very hot. When the door to the deck is open, it compromises the A/C and it can be a tad bit warm.

If your type is big, strong and handsome [BUILDINGS!], Full Frame Theater's Boiler Room has YOUR name all over it (him? her?). This incredible space welcomes guests entering Full Frame Theater, as well as sometimes its neighbor, The Power Plant Gallery. It's a VERY unique event venue flanked by mammoth coal-fired boilers that were used in the original building. You can admire the elevator shaft to the right of the front door, or envision the unseen inside (but very visible outside) base of the Lucky Strike smokestack which The Boiler Room "horeshoes" around. Enormous windows, concrete floors and brick walls give this space the perfect impression for any event [can I plan my next birthday party here?!] No space has ever scream contemporary meets historic so clearly! Plus, doors are open 9am-midnight, SEVEN days a week, so there truly is no reason to miss this drool-worthy space. Secret tip: it's air-conditioned and they've got tall-topped tables and chairs inside along the massive windows. This would be the perfect get-away from the office or {indoor} picnic lunch spot.

A friend of mine's boyfriend was the DJ for a Trap and paint event that I attended here. The space seems nice and I reviewed the rates online and it seems affordable. It's right on Fayetteville St where the parking is easier.

It's conveniently located in the heart of downtown. It's a 5 minute walk to a dozen restaurants. The space is beautiful and always immaculately maintained. It's well lit and has a great productive vibe. Wifi is reliable and fast. Coffee, espresso, soft drinks, beer and snacks are provided as well, for free. The place includes several large conference rooms, several smaller conference rooms and a few private call rooms. No matter what your need there is always a spot to get things done. The conference rooms all have dedicated TVs with teleconferencing features built in. There are ample outlets and power supplies for plugging in everywhere. Finally, the owner Michael is super accessible and has a great team. He and the team are always around helping members and folks renting the conference rooms and taking care of any issues that arise quickly. The space is also available as a rental for events in the evenings and they go above and beyond to re-arrange all the co-working furniture to make space for the events and then restore everything to where it was before the next morning. I'm so glad that I found this place when I went looking for co-working spots downtown and I feel lucky to be a member here. Highly recommended.

We started in two smaller areas. The first served as the check in area and coat closet. The second served as a cocktail area with a bar, food table, and several tables. Servers came around with delicious appetizers like chicken waffles (basically chicken and cheese in a mini waffle cone), risotto balls, etc. At the scheduled time, the sliding doors to the larger room opened. This area had a bar, ample tables and chairs, and several food stations. Each area was decorated beautifully for the holidays. Similar to last year, the food was provided and served by Market Hall caterers. It was all so delicious, particularly the pasta bar and oyster bar (no poutine bar this year). Servers regularly removed empty dishes from the tables. A coffee station was set up by the bar with coffee, decaf coffee, and hot water. I was excited to see the hot water since I don't like coffee. Unfortunately there was nothing to go with the hot water (no tea bags or hot chocolate packets). Desserts were then set up beside this station later in the night. Only other area that was missing items was the pasta bar. They did not have gluten-free pasta for a little while. Other than those small things, everything else was great. The door to the bathrooms is not labelled. A server pointed them out to me. The restrooms were nice and clean with ample stalls. Parking is available nearby on the street or in paid lots. Overall, beautiful venue and I look forward to attending future events here!
