I've stopped in there numerous times, the shop keep has always been helpful and offered good insight, both with treating septic tanks, replacing vents, water proofing advise, batteries that will hold up in aggressive cold weather winter camping. I recently upgraded my truck camper and the fridge didn't work, they sold me a part that I could return that they used in house for their own troubleshooting - I appreciate that and the guidance as it helped me diagnose my issue. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my RV in to them for service if I needed to. In the meantime, Hobo is my goto place for everything RV as the pieces/parts I needed have always been in stock, and I've been happy to get my items ordered and pick them up later. Thanks hobo RV!

I live in my RV full time and newer to the "vanlife" this year, I was bound to make a really crappy rookie mistake at some point. And boy did I ever! Unnoticed by me I turned into a grocery store parking lot (not a parkade, just a flat open parking lot.) that unexpectedly had height restrictions. I was looking down at the curb and for pedestrians as I turned in, not noticing or thinking there would be a restriction and then heard something on my roof. I assumed it was just the max height bar and chains rolling over my roof. Not until I pulled over and went to get something from the back and immediately noticed my emergency hatch above my loft AND my main space ceiling vent were just smashed to smithereens. And OF COURSE it was the morning after this years first snow fall, so the roof was just covered in snow and ice. How was I going to fix this? Let alone immediately?! It's my house, it's -5C outside. I knew it needed to get fixed inside a real shop. I also had really smashed the frame of the main vent, so I need a proper repair. Can't risk leaks in vanlife. And boy did I really just destroyed it. However, I remembered Doug at Horton RV when I was calling around for some information when I first got my old vintage gal back in the spring. I hadn't had a chance to do work with him yet, but I just remember how he was the only one who was helpful to me on the phone that day. That made him the only one I thought of to contact in this moment. I don't even remember any other place I contacted, I woulda had to re-google search otherwise (my head space was not in that frame of mind). And so I called Horton RV and Doug answered. He more than answered my phone call this time, he answered my prayers! He understood my position in the cold and this being my home and the extent of the damage had to be done inside a shop. Doug helped me out with best suggestions on how to save me the most money, as this was obviously an unexpected cost. Truly, Horton RV is the place to go and be helped, not scammed. As a solo female, that can happen so much more than many know. So, to that I am even so grateful for. THANK YOU DOUG! You are an Angel.

This was the most unpleasant experience we have ever had from an owner of the business. We had a…read morequestion about the hours billed for the labour on my van, the only person available to speak with was the owner. He was very unprofessional, belligerent and angry within one minute of speaking with us. He could not justify any of the labour charges on the bill as he stated he did not work on my unit. As he continued to get angrier he stated I was not welcome as a customer and to never come back to his business again. My reply was I would be back so he could warranty the work if there were any issues. I have never been treated so poorly by any business owner. I will not be recommending Wild Mountain RV to anyone I know and will let the RV repair person that did recommend them to me to stop as the whole experience was very upsetting and unpleasant.

The last straw; Their tech work wet/muddy boots in my RV, when I asked him to take his boots off or step out of the RV, he stormed off. When speaking to the front desk about it(SAM), he said I was in the wrong and I am not allowed to talk to their techs, I asked what I did wrong he said "I did not drop it". After spending almost $10,000 with them you would think there would be some customer service. I asked Sam what is going to be done about the mud on the carpet in rig and he stated "I'm am no longer welcome there." So much for warranting their work. Disappointing to say the least. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else, save yourself money, time and frustration by using a different repair shop. I know I will never go back.

Been working with these fellows for a bit now and they are on point. I have had 3 of my trucks…read morethrough there and no big bills. Proper assessments, quality work and no BS. They are the type of company that prefers to be honest over scoring big contracts and here is the proof: I have 4 trucks, and I bought a 5th from a guy who has 90 trucks. The guy I was purchasing from is always looking for good mechanics, for obvious reasons (90 trucks?) There is good reason for a mechanic to kiss a guys ass that has 90 trucks. They could basically run at least half the entire shop just for the one client. Anyways, there was a problem with the truck and they chose to inform me and the guy who was selling that it could be very costly in repairs over the next 2 years, and maybe I shouldn't purchase it. The owner was pissed off, and I believe the exact words out of his mouth were, "I don't think these guys know what they are doing." After a few days and myself convincing him of how being honest in that situation could really hurt them considered the value of his business. He calmed down and realized that the guys were just being honest. Good start with us. Will update ya'll as we go!
