All staff was very understanding and went out of their way to answer any questions and advise us. Along the same lines, we never felt that we were being 'sold' extra unnecessary expensive treatment that we are quite sure we would have through our old vet. We drove 40 minutes each way for every appointment and need our dog had and passed many other vets along the way, Well worth the trip. When we get our next dog, we'll be back!

This is a BIG shelter and the cat and dog areas are at opposite ends of the building. I didn't hear any barking at all! So many cats here, and you can look through glass to the kitten nursery which is in a separate room. Only $10 to adopt (not sure about for dogs) and it's an easy quick process. I was surprised they didn't want to know if I had other cats, or dogs, at home. I guess they assume you have read the information provided (our new furbaby has lived with other cats but never with dogs or children). If you don't have a cat carrier they have cardboard ones for I believe $7. It was a little disconcerting to find out at the "checkout" that my new cat had in fact not yet gotten the rabies combo shot as he'd only been there two weeks and it was scheduled for upcoming. I have no problem just paying for my vet to do it, but if this is a concern you may want to ask them to verify all the tests/shots were done BEFORE you fall in love. Nice clean place and very nice folks working here. SO many animals looking for a home--adopt, don't shop!

They did tell her that she would not be able to be with her for the second. That was a lie! When she got her there three people came out and made her walk to the back, the poor thing was in so much pain and walking was terrible on her, the reason she was putting her to sleep in the first place. And when they got her back there to a garage door, they told my friend she couldn't go no further. So now the last memory she has of her dog of 13 years, was the look of pain, fear and confusion. It's a vision that none of us will be able to passed any time soon, if ever. I can't help but what really does happen in there.

We have been a client of Training Tracks Canine Learning Station since March 2022. We found…read moreTraining Tracks when looking for local training options that utilized positive reinforcement (not e-collar training). Ollie successfully "graduated" from the Wonder Dog training school program. The intensive nature of this program really helped teach all of the skills and commands, and Ollie, our "little" foodie, LOVED the treats he earned while learning these things. I think the hardest part of training a dog is the follow up and continuation of training by the people who interact with the dog on a daily basis (us!). We do our best to continue working with Ollie in our daily lives, but have found the invaluable addition of continuing reinforcement of his training through the Stay and Play program at Training Tracks. He attends twice a week and has an absolute blast playing with his friends and reinforcing his training. He loves "school" days, the staff, and we have made several friends thanks to our dogs becoming besties at school. I can't recommend Training Tracks more. The staff love and treat your dog as their own, and teach skills to help your pup be successful in their daily interactions.

Our dog went to Training Tracks total immersion boarding program twice (initially and then again…read morewhen the owner realized the first experience failed) and still cannot walk on a leash or greet people politely (our two main goals). He is not an aggressive or anxious dog -- just a lively and energetic pup. We reached out to our trainer and to the business owner many times for additional support and guidance (the immersion program supposedly comes with lifetime support). They have been difficult to schedule with (sometimes taking months to get on their calendar) and often don't respond to our communications unless prompted many times (even though their contract states they will respond in 24 hours). When we could get a hold of them, the guidance they offered was not always particularly useful (i.e. just don't let your dog meet anyone ever - this suggestion came from the owner). We have tried to work this out privately with the business owner, Jeff, and he blames us for not communicating, reaching out, or following up with training, which couldn't be further from the truth. I have text and email records that prove we've been engaged and have consistently asked for the support we were promised/paid for. In the end, Jeff has tried to gaslight me and eventually called me aggressive for assertively asking for the training I paid for or for a refund so I can get my dog the training he needs and deserves. I would not recommend Training Tracks. Not only because their training skills are questionable, but because the owner is dishonest and unprofessional.
