A pleasant stop on my day off in Barcelona. They brought some olives which were really good, and I had a Luigi pizza, which had ham and rocket. Very tasty. I'd go back and try what looked to be a pretty extensive menu.
This was very close to our hotel (H10 Madison) so we came by for pizza. The service was just ok, not super attentive during our meal, although we were sat right away. We had the Speck and the Giro D'Italia and we enjoyed both. The crust was amazing. I would eat here again but maybe do take out as the service was sub par.
I guess when your in Barcelona, Italian food doesn't make much sense but we landed in a great restaurant. With plenty of time to review the menu, we decided to select a few entrees across their extensive menu. The Margherita pizza was excellent with a flaky outer crust and a medium rare interior dressed with fresh tomato's. The pumpkin ravioli was also superb with a hint of pumpkin in a butter sauce. The lasagna was decent and the presentation on the scallops fun. Conveniently located next door to a few hotels.
Had to come back again just to savor the wonderful food! This time I ordered a pizza with ham, olives, artichoke & burrata, it was delicious!! They provided hot chili oil and a side of rich red pizza sauce. Pure foodie Heaven! Service can be a bit slow but you can see just how busy they are and it's the kind of place you go to relax and not rush through a meal. Everything is made fresh to order with high quality ingredients, you can watch them make the burrata, pizza dough & slice the meats right from the front window and the open kitchen shows off the clay pizza ovens. This place puts my local pizza joint to shame & is an absolute must go spot in Barcelona!
The interior of the restaurant was clean, comfortable, and fairly typically decorated for an Italian restaurant. The service was sub-par. Our waiter was sour and generally short with us. Food and drinks were plunked on the table without a word. He was rolling his eyes at some of the other tables as he was taking their orders. This was uncharacteristic of the service we had in most of the other restaurants in the area. As for the food, it was mostly unremarkable. The Luigi salad was decent. The eggplant dishes we had were over cooked and extremely salty. Between the unenthusiastic service and the mediocre food, I would go elsewhere. Lots of options in this area of the city.
Great service. Excellent food ! Loved my amaretto sour and the mushroom pasta with truffle pearls :) The tiramisu was also yummy :)
Very busy Italian place with a large menu filled with variety. The bruschetta was on point, fresh tomatoes and good bread. The fried shrimp and squid was a standout item for me, cooked to perfection. The pizza was too soggy in the middle. Limp pizza that you cannot pick up.
The menu outside caught out attention when walked by earlier in the day. It was decided to come back here for dinner which we did around 4:00pm. This is super early for local standards and the place was not very full. As usual, we were escorted to a tiny 2 seat table next to the main isle way so we asked for a bigger table away and was told that would not be possible. It was almost instantaneous that I started to beeline to the exit when the manager called us back and told us we could sit on larger table near the entrance. This convince my wife to stay so we settled in and perused the menu. They have an extensive selection of starters, salads and mains with a separate drink booklet. We ordered the mussels, mushroom risotto and seafood pastas. Each course came with perfect timing and served very elegantly by the manager each time clearing the used dishes. Each dish was served at a good temperature and very tasty. We ended the meal with the panna cotta dessert. Overall a good place to have a different type of cuisine when you've got too much of the Spanish fare.

The window has views of both of their pizza station and ovens and pizza looked great. We ordered a Margarita pizza and a spaghetti bolognese. We ordered the bolognese because the best we have ever had was in an Italian restaurant in Galicia so we have it a shot. The pizza had great flavor specially the dough but it was not crispy at all and rather soggy so dropping just slid right off so that was unfortunate. The Bolognese was ok but wife's sauce is better so overall 3.5 stars for food, 4 for service and 4.5 for ambiance. Update: we went back again today and the food was so good. We had the part chicken and ravioli de calabaza, which were both amazing. Food is a solid 4 just pizza crust not crispy but we had the pizza bread which is just dough without any sauce and that was bomb!!
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Colón and had a late lunch, so we weren't hungry for dinner until past 10pm. Unfortunately most of the restaurants around us had already closed their kitchens or were going to soon. We were recommended Luigi as it was close and their kitchen is open until midnight. We were seated right away. The inside was very nice and you could see the pizza-making in action! We didn't get any drinks other than water and got an order of Gnocchi alla sorrentina and a pizza siciliana to share between the both of us. The pizza was okay - the crust was chewy, the parmesan shavings were nice, but to be honest, I didn't really understand the walnuts and would've enjoyed the pizza more without them. But that could be purely taste preference. The gnocchi, however, was excellent! It was saucy, cheesy, pillowy, and melted in your mouth. If we ever go back, I probably try a different pizza but overall it was a nice place for a quick dinner!

We only seen our waiter once, when he took our order. We ordered margarita pizza, and eggplant pie for starter, and draft beer. Beer was good, but waiter never returned to order more beer! The starter came 10 minutes after the pizza and was too hard (raw) to eat. The pizza wasn't hot, Luke warm at best. Won't return.
Came here to grab a pizza while in Barcelona. We visited this restaurant before while in Barcelona and you know the old saying, "if it ain't broke..." Luigi was a short walk from our hotel. We didn't have to make reservations and were greeted by a pleasant hostess and seated. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable, with soft music playing throughout the restaurant. Our server, who was pleasant, introduced themselves, presented us with the menu, and got us bottled still water. We settled on the spicy sausage pizza, chicken Caesar salad, and cod fritters, but first we ordered drinks: mango mojito and a classic margarita. Both were exceptionally good. Our apps arrived shortly after. The cod fritters were so good: chunks of white cod in a light batter topped with a dollop sweet honey mayo. Fresh, tasty, and not one drop of greasiness. The Caesar salad was SO good: cherry tomatoes, mixed salad greens, chunks of chicken, and shaved Parmesan topped with a house made Caesar dressing and long, crispy curls of goodness similar to a hollowed out mini breadsticks that were so good, we could have eaten a whole plate of those! The pizza arrived hot and fresh. The crust was so thin we had to use a knife and fork. The spicy salami, cheese, and basil were simple toppings, but really were good. We just wished that crust was more crispy. We were able to pay with our credit card. All in all, a great place for pizza, drinks, and other great food items during a visit in Barcelona. read more
This restaurant was steps from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. We made a reservation since it was a Saturday night & we were seated right away. It was busy when we arrived but there were still many tables available. The decor was warm & welcoming. Unfortunately I wish I could say the same for our server. He was abrupt & seemed annoyed we were there, not very attentive either. However, our food was wonderful! We ordered two entrees, a beef sirloin dish & a pasta dish. Our food came out fast. The beef were tender sirloin medallions in a flavorful white wine sauce over risotto, very delicious. The pasta was stuffed with truffle served with a porcini mushroom sauce & truffle pearls. A luscious dish...both rich & satisfying. We really enjoyed our dinner! read more
Anniversary Dinner in Barcelona -- Pleasantly Surprised! Celebrated our anniversary here at Luigi's while in Barcelona, and honestly, I was surprised that it wasn't as expensive as I expected for a nice sit-down spot in the city. Service was decent and the food came out at a good pace. We started with the Burrata salad (€14), which was super refreshing, especially with the balsamic vinaigrette. We also ordered the prosciutto pizza (around €14), which was simple, tasty, and hit the spot. Of course, I had to try the truffle pasta (about €13) -- creamy and comforting just the way I like it. Hubby ordered the seafood linguine (€15), and that was actually a standout -- light, flavorful, and packed with the perfect amount of shrimp. Overall, such a nice spot to enjoy Italian food in Barcelona without breaking the bank. Definitely a pleasant surprise for our anniversary dinner. Happy eats! read more

Visited here for Thanksgiving dinner with the family while visiting Barcelona. The restaurant was very pretty and had a great vibe. We ordered several pizzas, they were decent but they weren't anything special. The burrata salad was good but could have used some balsamic to enhance the flavor. We also tried the gnocchi, risotto and Pulpo. All were good just not super memorable. A decent meal that left me wanting more. read more

Luigi at this location is next to shops and stores so while walking around we decided to enjoy a nice late lunch. We didn't make reservations and just popped in to ask if they have anything available for today. It was crazy busy and we had to wait maybe about 15 minutes which wasn't bad. We got seated up the stairs and this restaurant is really pretty. Whoever made this place has an eye for architecture and also a very modern look. The food was splendid and the drinks were tasty! Decided to get a smoky drink that came in a glass and was filled with smoke. Also ordered some oysters, sashimi, clam pasta, and also a wrapped pizza style which was somewhat like a calzone. Overall each dish and drink was so memorable and amazing that I would say you need to try this place out!! read more

We got off the hop on and off bus. The view of the chefs cooking could be seen from the window. Fresh pizza and lovely ingredients stopped me in my tracks. We had wine calzone pizza and the best zucchini salad I ever had. Tiramisu for dessert along with a shot of limoncello. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was one of the best meals I had in Barcelona read more

Amazing food!! The pizza crust was delicious! Authentic! The butters salad was perfection. The tomatoes so fresh they tasted like sweet apples. We have NO tomatoes in Arizona that taste like these. A true treat! read more
Who says you can't get good Italian in Spain? No me! This restaurant is really great. From the moment you look in the window and see them making the pizza dough,them waking into the beautiful restaurant you know you are having a special meal. We started with baked cheese and tomatoes and garlic bread hot from the oven. Omg. So great and of course a bottle of red wine. Then my husband ordered a homemade pasta bigger than normal spaghetti with sauce. It was wonderfully delightful. I had a calzone that could have fed a table of 4! Dessert was canollis and fresh fruit and great coffee. read more

We walked by here daily. Decided to try thos m place on New Years day. Ravioli with mushrooms and truffles was good. The seafood spaghetti was awesome. Would definitely go again. read more
This restaurant was near my hotel and the signage looked so cute I had to stop in. The first time we went we didn't have reservations, but they were super welcoming and took great care of us. Our waiter, Martin, was amazing and very attentive. He even made some recommendations for us. We loved the food, no complaints at all. I felt like the prices were good for the amount and quality of the food. The second time we went, we made a reservation and I'm glad we did because it gets a little crowded on weekends. I loved the atmosphere, there's a dj too. Although the music is loud, it's not overwhelming and doesn't take away from the experience. I'd highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return when I visit Barcelona again!! read more
Convenient location if you're in the area for theater, a concert, from a museum or shopping. Not busy earlier than the usual late dinner time. Excellent wood stove pizza and pasta with superior service. It's a lovely space, larger and roomier than comparable places in Barca. read more
This was a beautiful place to have some Italian dinner. I would only recommend their woodfire pizzas here. The margarita pizza was amazing. We all also had pasta but did not like our dishes. I ordered the Gorgonzola gnocchi pasta dish and it did not taste good at all. It had a sour aftertaste and the cheese was stinky like feet. My friend also had truffle pasta and did not like it. We mutually agreed this place has better pizzas then pastas. read more

Food was good, but waiters could not be bothered to serve our table. Had a reservation to celebrate a special event but took 30 minutes for our drink order to be taken. Food came fast and was decent, but we felt like a burden even being here. Wish we had a better time but would not come back. read more

The food here is very good and fairly priced. There is a wide option for both food and drinks. The staff was really nice as well. I would definitely recommend getting a reservation especially for bigger parties as they are generally busy. Overall, the place is clean and super fun. We came here for my friend's birthday dinner and they even surprised her with some free cake and sang! Everyone enjoyed their food. I got the spaghetti alle vongole (linguine with clams, white wine, cherry tomato, garlic and parsley) and it was delicious. The clams were also really fresh. My friend gave me a few bites of her spaghetti alla carbonara con perle di tartufo (spaghetti with guanciale, egg, parmesan, onion, black pepper and black truffle pearls) which was so insanely good (if you are a fan of truffle)-- the plate was licked clean. Would give this place a try. read more
