There was a large section of the parking lot blocked off with caution tape partly held up by a trash can. One of the two entrances to the restaurant inside was blocked off with a stack of water bottles and the restaurant space was very disorganized. The drink station had litter on the floor but was fairly busy with people using it so the litter may have happened not long before I noticed. If you need a toilet, you may be in luck with a clean one, but otherwise it's just another average disorganized gas station.

I could spend this whole review ripping Blue Ox,but I'm here to review Mr.Fuel. This place is very nice. Like I previously stated, they have workable pumps, a nice convenience store, and very good hot take out food! The pizza is good, the desserts are good, and believe it or not the store made salads are excellent! I know that sounds crazy for a gas station salad, but they really are good. And their good about giving you extra packages of dressing without charging you extra for them like many fast food joints do. As far as their gas prices go, they're in line with all the other truck stops on Ripley, so give them a try. I think you'll be pretty satisfied with them.

I've usually gassed up here, and bought my lotto tickets here, for many years because it's just east of downtown Hobart and on Route 51. Very convenient location, that I think only the locals patronize, as opposed to the bigger stations on 61st by I65 or at Route 6 and Route 51. And that has meant that the prices are a little lower, too. Well, along with some improvements that Citgo has made, the gas prices have risen to the average for the area. Recently, it was $3.89 here, the same as two different Speedway stations. Boo hoo for me. But Citgo has made some improvements. The mini-mart is tidier, cleaner, and better organized. I noticed as soon as I stepped in. Most of the junk food for sale is the same, but it looks better. Can I say there's just a general aura of improvement? I saw some chairs pushed off into a corner, so I wonder if there's going to be some kind of seating. That would be an improvement, too. So, my super-cheap gas station secret is no more. Even so, I'll still keep coming. The location is convenient and because it's not super-busy like other stations, I can get in and out quickly, with very little traffic.

I happened in here late at night & they still had plenty of parking. I grabbed a spot in the corner of the lot where I wouldn't have to endure engines idling all night. It was a great location, as it was peaceful & quiet. In the morning, I wanted a shower, so I headed up to the building with my travel bag. I walked into the service center (store) and after browsing a little, worked my way to the main building. I was directed to their kiosk and learned that the shower was gonna cost me $13 without a fuel purchase. Since I was headed for fuel in Michigan, I saved the $13 for breakfast. Overall, a decent truck stop.

Careful. The coffee is not very good just as a heads up. It's makes a good hand warmer when it's so bad you can't drink it.
