They also accused our staff of stealing the coat and making up a lie that Ryan's did not return it to us. We asked only for a refund of the $159 of work done to make the situation right and was told to get a lawyer. The washing machines looked dirty so I asked the girl working if I should dare put my brand new comforter in. She said "we clean our machines everyday." I asked her about the comforters hanging in the other side of the building and she said those were for dry cleaning. The tag on my comforter says do not dry clean and do not bleach so I went ahead and picked the cleanest of the four largest washers that they had here & it came out worse than when it went in! Wish I would've followed my first instinct and turned around & left when I walked in!!! I was talking to the employee about how this came out and she said, "Umm I don't know, did you drag it on the floor?" and "Ummm I don't know maybe bleach it." I told her again I cannot bleach it and it cannot be dry cleaned & asked if they would pay to wash it again. She's said "ummmm I don't know." So I called the owner and she said "Oh, I've never heard of that happening with our washers" and "Our washing machines don't do that." She asked if I would bring it over to their skyline and Broadway location and I asked her if they would just pay to wash it again and she said "Yes." It came out worse than it did after the first wash!!! She said to add OxiClean to it with my tide. So pretty much my comforter cleaned their washing machine for them and for $12 in cleaning I got a ruined $120 comforter. If I could give them negative stars I would. The smaller of the machines cost a little under $6 (the price varies depending on your settings but the max was $6.50). The largest machine cost a little under $8 with the max set at $8.00. It took 22 min for the wash cycle. Other washing prices were $4.75 down to $2.00. The coin machine accepts $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills. It has a light indicator when it is out of service. It was not out of service the day I went. Soup, bleach and softeners all cost $.75. It has Tide, Cheer, Clorox 2 for colors and Bounce (this one has enough for two loads). Not all the dryers worked. One was missing a door and three of the others heating element didn't work. 8 were operational. This was not an issue since I was the only person there. It cost $.25 per 5 min of drying time. I set the dryers on medium heat. It took 25 min for the queen comforter and 40 min for the king. The king did not get completely dry. I brought it home and set it out in the sun. There are three folding tables. Long but not wide, a bathroon, plenty of seats and a small vending machine of snacks (no drinks). Two of the folding tables were not particularly clean. One had a lone Cheerio on it with a bit of paper (like out of a washed pocket). The other had a smeer of something unidentifiable. Overall I am very pleased with the facility and cleanliness of my comforters. I got out of there for under $20 which is a heck of a lot less than a dry cleaning bill

I had 5 loads of wash and went here to catch up before we returned home. Most of the dryers take coins but the change machines were out of order. I saw people lose money in the machines and another person had to leave to go get change. I ended up taking my 5 heavy soaking wet loads of laundry to another laundromat to dry them. But her was what turned this review around: I emailed the business about my frustrating day and someone got back to me within a few hours and said the owner would reach out the next day. And he did! He explained that the repairman had left the business and they were having a difficult time replacing him and some of the machines were not working as expected. He was so professional and made things right. It must be difficult to run a small business these days. And it's very rare that an owner is so responsive to a complaint. I really respect this owner. I would definitely use this laundromat again. I would recommend that until they hire a new repairman being plenty of quarters and your own detergent so that you can wash and dry your clothes with out interruptions.
