This place is great. I found it after scouring the internet for the best laser place in metro Detroit. I have severe PCOS, and WAY too much body hair. I did ~5 treatments of face/underarms, and had wonderful results. After seeing such great results, I opted to do a 'full body package', which was 10 treatment sessions. My results are absolutely amazing. I no longer have to shave my legs (less than 20 hairs grow, and they're 1/4 the thickness of my old hairs). My face is SO much improved. I no longer have red, irritated, hyperpigmented skin. **My hair is harder to get rid of, since it's hormone-related** My underarms/thighs no longer get large pimples/cysts from ingrown hair. I have a mild case of HS (Hidradenitis Suppurativa), and the lasering has basically resolved my ingrown hairs/boils. It's been over 2 years since I finished my package, and my hair has stayed gone. I have been going to Luma Laser & Med Spa for the past 3+ years for a variety of treatments, including laser hair removal, Emsculpt Neo, and HydraFacials. I can break down my review by the following: Overall: Customer service is impeccable and all the treatments really work, thanks to the expertise of the team. Rana will consult you personally and give you very honest recommendations of what treatments you should be getting to achieve your goal. She is also very candid in telling you not to get treatments if she doesn't think they will work for your body/skin type, which I appreciate more than anything. Brooke and Danica are the absolute sweetest and going into the spa honestly feels like going to hang out with a bunch of your friends. Laser hair removal: I have gone to a few laser hair removal places before this but this one has been the best one I have been to. One treatment made a bigger difference than 3 or 4 at other places, perhaps because this place has a really good machine. I also have an Indian skin tone that gets darker in the summer (which some lasers don't work on or burn) and I have never been burnt by this laser or team. I have seen a huge difference and now, I can go months without shaving my legs. But keep in mind that it takes a while and consistent treatments to get to this point. HydraFacials: I have gotten a HydraFacial here and so has my mom, who has more mature skin. We both saw an immediate difference (our skin was LITERALLY glowing) and a difference for a while after as well (our skin was softer and plumper, it also just *felt* cleaner, if that makes sense). I honestly don't have too much experience with facials but these ones felt great and made us look great as well. We now get them before important events, like weddings. Emsculpt Neo: I recently started getting Emsculpt Neo body toning on my abs and my arms since I want to tone both those areas. My abs are a little loose and my arms are genetically flabby. I am in the middle of this treatment package but after about 4 treatments, I am starting to see the results. My arms and abs are tighter and I feel more stamina when I work out (I do Pilates). The place is small but nice. Lauren was my (esthetician?) and very professional. After the appointment, the (owner, I think) of the place said I could come back for a complimentary touchup sometime next week, which I was very impressed with. She also gave me a coupon for my next time there. (they also had Lindt chocolates up front for the customers - bonus! Lol. Yes, I'm a chocoholic.) Rana and her staff are truly unprecedented! Extremely professional, hygienic (especially during the pandemic), considerate, personable, and straightforward. I did laser hair removal with their team, and in the beginning, Rana met with me to do a one-on-one consultation to discuss my options and pricing. She was very transparent and told me if I take the advice her staff provide during the sessions, I'd see the results I'm looking for.
