Each lesson is clear, engaging, and tailored to the students' pace, making even tricky grammar concepts feel approachable. Alex did a wonderful job at explaining the language in a way that feels natural and conversational, while also giving students the structure we need to build a solid foundation. I love how practical the lessons are -- every class left me feeling more confident about speaking, reading, and understanding Italian. What makes Alex stand out is the perfect balance of professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm. He brings Italian to life with cultural insights, everyday expressions, and plenty of encouragement. I genuinely look forward to every session and can already see major progress in my vocabulary and fluency. If you're serious about learning Italian (and having fun while doing it), I can't recommend PLC highly enough. PS -- Grazie mille, Alex.

Note that we were interested in the Mandarin program, so my observations shared here are mainly based on that aspect. This model should be replicated nationwide. Growing up, my parents had to choose between a public German immersion school and our local parochial school. They prioritized faith, which was the right call, but at All Souls, parents don't have to make that compromise--you get both! Dr. Allison is the principal, and after multiple conversations, it was clear how much he "gets it." He has an extensive background in education, and seems like exactly the person you would trust in charge of a growing and thriving school like this. He instills confidence. We met with teachers, parents, and staff, and everyone is kind and the teachers seem like great educators. The classes have very good teacher-to-student ratios. The weekly schedule is better than essentially all other schools, including early release on Fridays (perfect time to schedule doctor appts, dental appts, music lessons, etc.) and Mass only every other week (which is smart because it doesn't burn the kids out on it). Also, it is a very food-allergy-friendly school, with no nut/peanut classrooms TK-2 just to name one thing. For anyone weighing the benefits of language immersion against a faith-based environment, All Souls proves you really can have both without compromise.

The current principal works hard. I think the Spanish program is still decent but academically this school is behind public schools. A lot of kids leave needing intervention or tutoring unless your kid is academically way ahead. I love the small class sizes and loving environment but we left due to the huge teacher turnover resulting in some grades with terrible teachers. If they beef up the academics a bit there may be hope.

Math has always been a sore spot for him--especially with his slower processing speed--but the support, patience, and structure provided by the Huntington team has made a difference in both his skills and, more importantly, his willingness to keep trying. What stands out most is the level of personal investment the instructors make in each student. Mr. Justin, in particular, has gone out of his way to understand how my son learns and where he needs extra reinforcement. It never feels like a one-size-fits-all program; it's truly tailored support that meets him where he's at and helps him move forward at his pace. As a parent, my biggest concern has always been that he not only improves academically, but also feels capable of keeping up with his peers--and Huntington has been key in helping us move toward that goal. I trust their approach, and we're fully committed to continuing with their program. I can't recommend Huntington Education enough. They've been a steady and positive partner for our family.

For any adults who have attended Chinese school in their youth, this is definitely not like that. It's actually fun and effective. The teachers are very caring and so patient. I went to the school in person to try to get more information but the person working there told me there was no other way to contact the school other than text message. There are no flyers, no information and no tours. Anyway, I contacted Miss Maggie again and I told her my daughter turned 4 and was ready to start classes. I asked how to proceed and I let her know my daughter has a peanut allergy. All she said was "we don't have any available." I would think a professional school setting would offer a way we can waitlist, given there is a morning and afternoon class. I asked if both morning and afternoon classes were filled and did not receive a further response. Now I feel more like I was brushed off because I told them about the allergy. Overall irresponsive and gives off shady vibes.

I came to her 4 years ago with absolutely zero confidence that I would progress in learning this language. Especially after numerous failures (regular classes, apps, etc.) but Flavia has patiently pushed me towards fluency. Fla has a knack for understanding how to best encourage a students individualized learning. Often breaking down complex grammatical concepts into bite-sized pieces that even the most language-challenged individuals (like me) can grasp. Her patience and persistence with me has been unparalleled, and she never has made me feel embarrassed for asking the same question multiple times, in multiple different ways. What I appreciated the most was how she tailors the lessons to my needs and speed, depending on the rate I pick up a particular lesson. As I have progressed, we have shifted towards vocabulary and grammar that is more tailored towards my profession and interests, which has made a huge difference in my ability to communicate. I can't recommend Flavia highly enough. If you want to work towards fluency, at your own pace, or just get more in depth review for school work. I would suggest reaching out to her.
