I went in with a rather unusual request, burgundy and gold highlights on my black hair. Justine did an amazing job after consulting with Lisa, the color came out perfect, it's exactly what I wanted and I'm super happy with the results. I'll be going back in a couple of weeks for a touch up - very happy customer! read more

Lumos Salon is my go-to spot when I'm in Wisconsin - Lisa does a great job, and the staff is super friendly. I don't book ahead of time so the only downside is that I occasionally have to wait 2-3 days for an opening. read more

Great place and service and... THEY ARE OPEN TILL 9PM!!!!!!!! Girls that work there are so nice and professional... I had my shellac manicure done by Maria last week, right before my camping trip and I couldn't be more happy... one wee past by, camping in tent, beach, water and they still look great... Maria was a very nice and easy to talk to person... Very helpful with choosing color of my nail polish... I will definitely go back there again. Great place in a cute downtown Hartland ;) read more

Demi gives an excellent mens haircut. She's been cutting my hair for a few months now and my hair is a little tricky. Demi kept great notes so that by the third haircut she was completely dialed in and I received one of the best haircuts ever. Now I go back every three weeks and she continues to give a great cut. She is professional, kind and a pleasure to chat with too. read more

Nail experience was terrible and over priced. Be prepared for a hard hard sell on products after any service. It must be required for stylists to sell for commission. I never felt so pushed and uncomfortable at any other salon in my life. I wish they cared more about customers. read more

Just moved to the Delafield area and was looking for a nail salon. Yelped Kirstens Salon, and read some favorable comments regarding their hair services. Since they are an Aveda salon, I was hopeful. I had my nails done on Wednesday. They looked fine at the time -- I didn't have my reading glasses on. When I got home and looked at them, I knew it was not acceptable. Called and asked for my money back, they asked for an opportunity to redo my nails. That's fair. Went back on Friday and had a different manicurist. Again, my nails are awful and peeling - gel polish after three days should not peel. Called and spoke to the owner. I suggested she return my money as I've already spent three hours trying to get my nails to look good. I also mentioned to her that, since she's an Aveda salon, I was surprised to see that the salon was not clean, especially near the nail area. She started yelling at me saying that I was being nasty. Really? "Take a look at your nail area, because it's dusty and dirty" is not nasty - when it's the truth. Long story short, after being yelled at for a few minutes, I told her that I will just call my credit card company and have them reimburse the amount I paid for the sub-standard manicure. read more

I have had two great experiences at this salon so far. It's a relaxing time, staff is very friendly and I always feel refreshed when I leave. I have tried out a few products and I'm very pleased with those too. I'd highly recommend this to anyone new to town like myself. I love that they're just down the road too! This is s great little hair salon. I was recommended that take my Special Needs daughter here. I know that they have experience with Autism and Epilepsy. They also support a Down's Syndrome charity. It is not easy to find a hair salon that is pleasant environment and is experienced (and comfortable) with Special Needs individuals. read more

I've been a long time client at Kirsten's and have had wonderful experiences EVERYTIME! Lisa and her stylists have made time for my sister when she was in visiting and desperately needed some TLC - she sure got it! I recommend this salon whole heartedly - they have long hours to accommodate the working man or woman which is extremely helpful. Great salon! read more

Lisa Hahn has worked with Kirsten Salon for over 14 years while being Kirsten's manager and cutting coach for over 8 years. Lisa took over ownership of Kirsten Salon in August of 2012 and continues to carry on the salon's mission for many years to come. Lisa believes in continuing education for herself and her designers. At Kirsten Salon technique, style and professionalism are vital in providing a superior haircut, or treatment.

Initially intending to continue IPL treatments, I was persuaded to try this new peel that was marketed as gentle and convenient with no downtime. I found no reviews online regarding this product and put my trust in the personnel working in the Medispa at Spargo. There were four sessions spaced a week apart. Despite following all post-treatment instructions--applying the recommended Factor 5 facial mask to soothe my skin and maintain hydration--I encountered significant problems. Rather than seeing healthier, rejuvenated skin, I developed large red spots and severe dryness after each peel. I was told my face would look so much better after a week or two. The discomfort was substantial, and even with additional application of lotion and Aquaphor, my skin's condition worsened. Makeup failed to conceal the marks and I was told after the 3rd treatment that I needed to do 4 even though I planned on stopping due to the effects on my face. Although Spargo refunded the cost of my final treatment, the damage is more than when I started. I was hoping to get rid of age/sun marks on my face this product was terrible for me.
