Really enjoyed my eye service here! There was a special deal happening (that I found on Instagram) for an eye treatment for 75 dollars using Dermalogica. This is one of my go to skin brands anyways, so I figured I would go for it! The aesthetician I had was so polite and professional. She talked me through what she was doing (ie eye peel, mist, etc) while ensuring that I was comfortable. We chatted about our dogs and the time flew by! All of the products felt great on my face. I could see a difference in the puffiness in my eyes after the treatment. Would definitely go back and recommend this salon! read more

I am a girl. I am a girl with very curly hair. I've searched high and low, to and fro and have paid as little as $13 to upwards of $150 for a single haircut. While in NY on a business trip, I had my hair cut and "cured" by an amazing salon in Soho - Deva Chan. It's for curly girls. Falling in love with my hair all over again and realizing I couldn't fly to NY every time I needed a cut... I went in search for anyone that was familiar with the Deva Chan, Curly Girl... process... In enter's Tracy and Indulge Studios. She had me at hello. Not only is she trained in the Deva Chan process, she is a brilliant colorist and quite a conversationalist. Tracy is my new go-to and I have yet to be disappointed. She ROCK's!! PS - She's an absolute for anyone with curly hair but if you can do right by the curls - she can do right by any. Considering how much I spent for a cut and color, I would expect it to be flawless. The cut is choppy. The color isn't all the way to the roots and is not cohesive in the slightest. She was incredibly rough on my hair and the salon was uninviting. Would not recommend and won't be back. read more

After 20+ years of having my wavy/curly hair butchered by stylists who claimed to know how to cut wavy and curly hair, I found Tracy and got my first Deva Cut. To say that she is talented with curls would be an understatement. I've had 4 or 5 Deva Cuts with her now, and each cut has been completely amazing. She is Deva certified, but more importantly, she has a real talent for hair. Any stylist can get Deva certified, but if you don't have the raw talent, and Tracy has it in abundance, your cut is just not going to have that wow factor. I've referred a number of people to her, both curly and straight-haired, and every one of them has come out with a fantastic cut. read more

The studio has most everything you'd expect--hair, nails, wash, and sure other stuff I don't know anything about. It's clean. I'm reviewing this based on Angelika, who is great! She's very attentive to doing a great job and takes pride in making you happy with your hair. It is a nice looking salon in a great area, everyone is very nice. The woman who cut my hair was nice. I will however warn, if you are a WOMAN OF COLOR (especially with long hair) looking to get a "deva cut", look somewhere else! I feel like this "deva cut specialist", Tracy, bit off more than she could chew! I have very thick, long, curly hair, and I could tell the moment she got her hands on my hair she was overwhelmed. The way she started cutting my hair, first of all, was not at all how she described it to me. She was very rough with my hair/head. When it came to washing my hair, I was looking forward to it, because usually it's the most relaxing part and I love it. I don't know what she was doing, but the whole time she was washing it was very painful and she was very rough. My scalp was very sore and tender when she was done. I also had a recent piercing done on the cartilage of my ear so it was still tender, she kept bumping it and catching it with her fingers and my hair. I told her this and she apologized, but did not take precautions when working in that area and continued to hit it! So not only was my scalp sore, but also my ear! The whole time I was there I could not wait to leave! I am not exaggerating at all and I'm typically not a "tender-headed" person, but I was holding back tears most of the appointment. She didn't even finish drying my hair all the way, which usually can take a while, so I left with damp hair. My hair looked frizzy and my curls were not defined like they normally are. I also felt like she was in a hurry and thought she could handle my hair in the amount of time she set aside, but she could not. In the end I did tip her because I am a nice person, but I don't feel that my experience there was worth $89. My lesson learned and advice: stick with who and what you know! read more

Second time I've been to Indulge, and I've yet to be disappointed! First time was for a hair cut last summer, I have long curly hair and hate getting cuts because they always underestimate how much my hair is going to curl back up, but I LOVED how it looked after Indulge. Fast forward to this summer, I've been wanting to get highlights for a while and finally booked an appointment. I was very worried and anticipatory as I am a perfectionist and love my hair, but it turned out absolutely gorgeous. The highlights look completely natural and my hair feels and looks great. Could not recommend this place more, they know exactly what they're doing and actually listen to your concerns and wants! Indulge is the only place I want to get my hair done at now. read more

Another FTR! I am on a roll! Yesterday was my first "Big Girl" haircut. I had gone my entire life with bad haircuts. Either because the girl cutting my hair didn't listen/or believe me when I said I wanted a "No Maintenance" haircut. They cut it with the believe that nobody actually wants a "No Maintenance" haircut, so the next day I wake up and I look ridiculous because the haircut I got actually needs me to do something with it, and I am just not that person. Carolyn at Indulge Studios came highly recommended from friends. They promised me she would be friendly, listen to me, and give me a great haircut. That is exactly what I got. Although I was having a mini panic attack when I walked in, at the thought of allowing this person I don't know to do whatever they wanted to my hair, which most likely would include cutting it all off. I was welcomed with a smile and an offer of something to drink when I went in. Everyone there was extremely friendly. Carolyn took great care of me, While she calmed my nerves she gave me a great "No Maintenance" haircut. I highly recommend Carolyn and any of the other friendly staff at Indulge. read more

My stylist and colorist is Angelika and has been for a number of years. She exudes professionalism, a wonderful sense of style and has a lovely personality. I know the other staff members and give them five stars. The only drawback with going to Indulge is the owner, Tracy. She creates an atmosphere of tension and it is never a relaxing, nurturing or luxuriating destination. In fact I dread it because of her attitude. Other friends have stopped going to her. It is a shame because the Salon is very well done, spotlessly clean and has a nice clientele. Tracy, no one enjoys your sarcasm or dressing-down toward your staff. Please see a therapist or at least address your personal aggressiveness in some other manner. You make a fool out of yourself. read more
