I'm not exaggerating when I say Luna has changed my body aching quarantine life. My favorite business in Santa Monica, feel so blessed to have Lola work her acupuncture/ cupping magic! The ozone sauna is a must too! I want to hug that thing! So detoxifying and stress relieving! I always arrive at Luna excited and rushed from a busy day and leave a whole new person. So relaxing & truly body healing, better then any massage can provide and with long term benefits. There's something unique about Lola, her presence is calming & inviting. I highly suggest to anyone who hasn't tried acupuncture to give it a shot. I'm a tiny lady, if my body can handle it, you can too haha it doesn't hurt, it is tension relieving. I've noticed a huge improvement in my sleep, mood, energy, and anxiety since going here. Love you all! Thank you for existing :)

She shares her vast knowledge of Chinese medicine with so much grace, patiently explaining every step of the way so I can feel good about it at any given time. I had a fantastic experience doing a microneedling treatment with Lola. She put my anxious mind at ease, answering all my questions, and the process was painless. We started with acupuncture then we proceeded with the microneedling session. Afterward, she finalized the treatment with ozone oxygen cupping and a red light led mask. I had very little inflammation and the recovery was seamless !! The space itself is clean and has peaceful energy. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend ! The warmed bed was such a nice touch. 5/5 This was my first acupuncture session and it was such a great experience. The whole staff was really kind, and the space felt clean and calming. My practitioner, Lola, explained everything she was doing and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I did acupuncture with cupping, and it felt amazing. She walked me through each step and was really informative and reassuring about my neck and upper-back tension. Overall, super professional and such a positive first experience. This place is the most luxurious spa I've ever been to. I discovered them Saturday of last week. I came in Sunday for their 5 year anniversary and got a complimentary 20 minute acupuncture and a complimentary ear seeding. I walked in Sunday in excruciating pain and left like a brand new person like I thought I would never feel this normal and this good again. I came back today which is Wednesdays and I had won a cupping session and I feel like I've never been through neuromuscular pain before. I feel brand new and Lola also gifted me a magnesium spray that has been truly helping me. I've been sleeping so much better since Saturday. This feels like a dream come true. read more

I've been having some trouble sleeping and dealing with stress, and decided to try the ozone infrared sauna treatment at Luna Body and Mind. Here was my experience: Pros: - I was well taken care of by Mahshid. I honestly felt like a princess. She was kind and informative from the beginning. This was my first time doing this procedure and she explained how everything works at the start of the session. - place was beautifully decorated and very zen - very clean and the room I was in was spacious and comfortable - the procedure actually worked! I sweat a TON, and slept like a baby that night - service is top notch. There are plenty of towels available for you after your sauna session, water and tea are offered for you to stay hydrated, and even cookies are available! Cons: - parking is metered, and can be difficult Overall, I had a great experience and will be booking more sessions. I find that I sweat a lot more at their sauna than some of the other ones I've been to, and the service is TOP NOTCH. read more

I came to Lola because I had a breathing problem for along time. After the acupuncture therapy and ozone sauna I started to feel better. My breathing improved. I did not have to use my breathing medication today and I do not feel that I need it. My energy level also increased. I feel like Lola is very attentive and highly professional therapist. The most healing, calming, and beautiful experience to be fully listened to by someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to understand your complex issues and then takes them and unravels them one at a time to get to a root cause and leads your body to the answers it needs. The unique and comprehensive treatments and the care that I experienced was like nothing before. I've had acupuncture done before and couldn't connect this experience was on another level as Lola incorporated multiple specialties at once which was so healing for my issues, I felt the best I have felt in over 3 months of struggling with health issues the day after my first treatment. I called to make an appointment, after I followed them in Instagram...I called on Friday and I asked for the following week, but if it possible to schedule early in morning. They offered for Tuesday, 8:30 am. Later I received and email for upcoming appointment with out any information. Than I received a text from one of the representatives that they lost my email address and information, I texted back with my info. On Monday morning I received a reminder email for upcoming appointment for Wednesday 10:30 am.... this is not the day and hour I booked! This is very wired! Lola, the owner/acupuncturist is very caring and hands on. I've only been twice, so we'll see if it helps. The only reason it's not five stars is because the way the space is configured for building code reasons can't keep from letting noise, talk, etc. intrude on the quiet time of the treatments. They do have muffling head sets, tho. read more

This place is amazing! I came in for the first time 2 months ago. And I've since referred my Mom. Lola is a genuine knowledgeable acupuncturist who really listened to my needs and concerns. She is passionate about her work and aims to meet the goals you come in with. Anywhere from wound healing, hormone balancing, insomnia and increasing energy and mood levels, she meets those goals. I am so happy with how I feel when I walk out of her office. I've also been using the ozone saunas for help with muscle stiffness, weight loss and anti aging. The office is inviting, warm and peaceful. I've seen many acupuncturists over 15 years and she is by far THE BEST! I never want to get off her table when the treatment is done. This is my first facial since the pandemic started and it could not have been a better experience! The gua sha facial was incredibly relaxing and Mashi (apologies if I'm not spelling that right) did an amazing job at explaining the movements and how to do it at home. Today was my second time tying out the amazing ozone saunas at Luna Body and Mind. Previously, I tried the Ozone Steam Sauna and was pleasantly surprised at the intensity of this sauna. It was the right amount of steam heat and Lola adjusted it to my comfort level. You definitely leave this sauna feeling invigorated and that you got your money's worth. Today I tried the Infrared Ozone Sauna and felt so relaxed and refreshed after. The main difference is that you lie down on your back and experience a drier heat. I've been here three times to see Mahshid for micro needling. I love the treatments. The center is such a beautiful and peaceful place and it smells heavenly too. The patient tables are very comfortable since they are heated and there is always soothing music playing in the background. Regarding microneedling, I love how it transformed my skin. The fine lines diminished, my skin tone evened out, acne scars faded and I feel like my skin is looking how it did when I was 30 years old versus 37 (if you are in your late 30s, you know what I am talking about). I will continue to see Mahshid for micro needling. I plan to visit at least twice a year to maintain my glow. She's also a very nice and kind person. She makes you feel comfortable and taken care of. I was recommended to come here by a friend for my treatment today and oh was I surprised. I went for the ozone steam sauna and my expectations were exceeded. Not only did I sweat beyond all belief in the 30 minutes sitting and loosing around 600 calories, but Lola was one of the most pleasant people I've ever interacted with. I had the best experience at Luna Body And Mind Acupuncture Center in Santa Monica! The place is so beautiful and relaxing, I could stay there all day. I came in to treat my stiff neck and relieve some stress. Mis Lola did an amazing job, and the treatment made me feel a lot better, both mentally and physically. I highly recommend this place! It's been years since I've been to an acupuncturist, b/c my old acupuncturist moved.... My experience at Luna was absolutely amazing and so relaxing. Mahshid was incredible.. Super professional, very thorough, and insanely knowledgeable...with such a calming presence. The facilities are super clean, perfectly decorated, and they have some hydrogen purifier that sanitizes the air..: which is a big deal for me, during these pandemic times. I'm super impressed! As for my acupuncture experience, she had such a gentle touch, I couldn't even feel her put the needles in... then she left the room to let her work do what it does... as I laid there with my eyes closed with the needles along my body... I started seeing two colors hint of green and more of an indigo color- This I've only ever experienced during Breathwork. Not acupuncture... It was a pleasant surprise! This is also my first time getting 24k gold seeds in my ear, which I'm excited to experience for the next 5 days. (Besides looking cute in my ear) I'm stoked to feel their effects. She even recommended herbs that NO one tends to know outside of Chinese medicine, to help me with my vocal chords... SO Knowledgeable! I feel so much more relaxed! I'll certainly be back and recommend Mahsid to my friends and clients. read more

I had my first appointment a few days ago, and I will definitely be back. The staff was so friendly, booking an appointment was super easy as well. Lola is so nurturing and knowledgable. She explained the acupuncture and cupping treatments very well, and she explained the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine in a simple way. The treatments were absolutely wonderful.
