Even a year after treatment, we're coming in for routine checkups to monitor maintenance and discuss any next steps, and the level of care hasn't changed one bit. The office is always beautifully decorated, currently updated with fun, summery touches that make every visit feel cheerful and welcoming. It's a busy practice (for good reason!), but the team is always professional, attentive, and efficient. We've had nothing but a positive experience here. My flare looks worse after 10 months, my records are incomplete & where is the breakdown of my refund? I paid $5,054.18 for braces treatment and paid it off only 6 months in! I came to fix my flared teeth and crossbite, but 10 months into treatment I was told my braces could come off even though my teeth are actually more flared then when I started and my crossbite was still present. (Compare my X-rays below to see my flare progress) When I requested my records for a second opinion, the office manager initially told me I could not have them until treatment was complete because they were "confidential," which is not true. The records I eventually received appeared incomplete and were missing documentation of IPR that was performed during treatment. I decided to stop treatment and requested all of my records on April 11, 2026. As of May 13, 2026, I still have not received everything. The office offered me $813 after I sign a release of liability, but they still have not provided a clear breakdown explaining how my refund was calculated. I am SO happy I found Dr. M! They got me in for a consult quickly, it started on time and was quick and easy (and free), and the pricing ended up being WAY less than what I paid the last time I went through Invisalign, and with a better outcome. All of the office staff were sweet and on top of their game; you really feel like you're in the best hands from the moment you walk in. I now understand why it's important to have an orthodontist be in charge of your Invisalign care plan. I have been a loyal customer at Lunsford McCaffrey Orthodontics for a 9 years now and I have not had an unpleasant experience when doctor Lunsford had his own individual practice, until today when I was insulted by one of the orthodontic assistants Erlinda. The very first time Erlinda worked on my braces was six weeks ago, she a new staff member to me because I have not see her before. My very first appointment with her was booked for 4:00 and it was just a six week tightening adjustment on my braces. This procedure usually take 30-45 minutes at the most, but Erlinda took almost TWO HOURS just to put on my rubber band around my brackets and wires. Not only did she take a significant amount of time just to put on my wires and rubber band, she was also not very mindful or cordial of my time. Once again I returned to the office today for my 6 week braces tightening not expecting to get Erlinda once again but I was proven wrong. Erlinda brought me to my seat and proceeded to take off my rubber bands around my brackets. Now I did not have time to brush my teeth before my appointment so as expected it would not be surprising if I do have a bit of food in my teeth and wires, but this was a surprise to Erlinda because she proceeded to tell me that I do not brush my teeth properly just because she found food in my teeth from a meal I ate earlier in the day. Mind you I did get a recent clean and check on my teeth from my dentist and she said I was brushing well. Then Erlinda told me to brush my teeth and brush it well which is what usually happens when they take off your wires, you must brush your teeth after. So I come back from brushing my teeth, I sat down in the chair and Erlinda tells me I still did not brush my teeth well. She then proceeds to take a tooth brush out of the cabinet show me how to brush my teeth, then says that I don't brush my teeth well and if I do not brush my teeth well it will be ruined forever. She said that I should purchase a "Baby toothbrush " after that she tells me to finish brushing my teeth, (this is the second time in one appointment that she made me brush my teeth). After I was done, she needed to put on my wires and and rubber bands but she did not know how to put on the lace wires which is what was listed as what was needed to be done. She she said to herself "I don't even know how to do that", in regards to putting on the lace wires. Which is something your do not want to hear from a specialist working on your mouth. So she asked another orthodontic assistant to show her how to apply the wires in Spanish which I find rude, to talk to another person in a different language in front of the patient you are working on. Then it came time to put on my elastics, which she applied on to my teeth. Right when she put it on I knew it looked a bit different then usual, so I asked her if my left elastic was supposed to be positioned the way it was, but she was clueless. So like she did with everything else during my appointment, she asked another orthodontic assistant to help her and sure enough she put the elastics on incorrectly! But the other assistant did fix it. Overall, the establishment itself is very nice and welcoming and the service is usually great, but it is just the service that Erlinda exhibited today that make me advise others to stay clear of her when visiting. read more

My daughter needed everything under the sun needed braces, jaw spreaders, braces again it was literally years worth of treatment. It was well worth it. Her teeth are perfect. Another thing I love about this office is they were almost always right on time with their appointments. I dont think I ever waited more than 20 minutes for a scheduled appointment and that would have been a rarity. The staff is amazing and they have all been working there a long time. It seems Dr. Lunsford is a great employer as well as an Orthodontist. If you are in the Lake Worth area there is no one better. read more

I just began getting fitted for braces and from the time I walked into the office I could tell that this was way different than the last office I visited for a complimentary assessment of my teeth. The doctor and his staff are completely professional and knowledgable about their craft of orthodontics. Their level of professionalism and customer service is unmatched. I did my research of other offices in Wellington and none could compare to what Lunsford offers. We are so happy with how our child's experience and results from her braces have come out so well. Honestly, I wasn't too familiar with how now a days putting a 7 year old in expanders and then braces would turn out or for that matter made sense. But the way Dr. Lunsford and his staff explained it to us it just made sense. After 12 months and completing phase 1, we are beyond impressed. Wonderful place to do orthodontic treatment. Dr Lundsford and Dr McCaffrey are the best. My 8 year old has been coming here to prep his teeth for braces. They have already corrected his bite and they are now working on expanding his pallet. They have explained everything so thoroughly. They explained if we didn't start treatment tho early my son would have over crowding and need permanent teeth pulled out later, which is exactly what happened to my husband.
