I was very happy with the company trimming my palm tree with a decent cost. I decided to have them…read moretrimming 2 Crape Myrtle trees and remove some stumps. They did the work without letting me know they were coming. If they did I would have seen what they were doing. The tree pruning was very poor. It is barely noticeable. I am paying the tree pruning since I was out of town and cannot prove what they did or didn't do other than the trees seem full. They removed the stumps except for 1 and they destroyed my irrigation system. I called and they were supposed to call me back with information. They disappeared. They sent me emails and letters for the payment (including the stump not removed) so I called them again. The person whom I spoke with was no longer with the company and they told me that they would call me back. But they didn't. I kept calling and finally there was a follow up. They asked me the pictures for the tree and I sent them. No response to that twice. They then sent me their disclaimer for the irrigation and I had to send them pictures that the irrigation was visible so not covered by their disclaimer. They keep harassing me with requests of payment regardless of our phone conversation, proof of damage and emails. There is an obvious disconnect within the company and the customer is trapped in this net.

Still with me? Marcello came out and was right on time, pleasant, didn't mince words and gave me a price 1/2 to 1/3 of what we'd been charged in Northern Virginia 10 years ago. We had a deal before he left that day. Fast forward, but not too far. The tree was supposed to be removed on a Friday, his guys were there on the Tuesday preceding and the hard work was almost done before I got outside to see what was going on. They even cleaned up their entire "mess". Next, the stump was supposed to be ground down on Saturday. Friday morning the guy shows up, I lock up the dogs and he's done before I know it and even took out a 2nd stump nearby that was an easier job and didn't even mention it. And I still haven't gotten a bill! I will most certainly pay it once it does show up with zero delay. Today my neighbor comes over. I should have another review for you very soon. I hope it's as good as this one. These guys make things Easy. I'm doing business with them again in the near future. This is good, old fashioned American service the way I can remember it. But in 2020 - it definitely stands out. BTW, Marcello explained to me about the licensing, bonding, etc., but he put the icing on the cake when he told me their company also had workman's compensation on their guys (which a lot of company's may not). He didn't mention any names, but he did say to make sure you ask for and see the company's papers if you are going to do business. Always a smart move and especially appreciated the detail. The men were very hard workers, and they worked all day long into dusk. The men were so focused and concerned for safety.
