We had a bridal party of 6 come in for mani & pedis the day before the wedding. We called a few weeks in advance and scheduled an appointment, the salon was notified what everyone wanted. Out of us 6 girls they messed up the brides nails. She sat there for 4 hours - she asked for white sparkles. Nothing fancy. After passing her to 3 different nail techs she finally had enough. She was kind enough to still tip even tho she was extremely unhappy. After having a complete breakdown she called a different nail tech who was able to save her! We made a 10pm trip to her house. (This lady does not work for Lux) Out of six girls Lux messed up the bride... very disappointed.. don't come here. read more

very upset how my best friend and I got our nails done gave the worker options if she couldn't do the one full set design I had showed she insisted she could do my design she got done and it turned out terrible I wanted to cry and to charge me $80 was ridiculous and to pay for something I was not happy with. my best friend got a man and wanted a fill and he mentioned after completing her fill he never does nails and he completely did an awful job they were uneven and chunky and not correct. never again will we go there. my best friend and I were so upset she cried I was too mad to cry. They did a pretty terrible job with my nails. I feel as if I could have done the design better myself and I'm terrible at doing nails. The staff seemed very tense among each other. The owner almost made a girl cry over him not knowing the proper appointment time. It took 3 separate people to do my nails, which is odd because 1 person should be able to fill, paint and design. They also really did not have good COVID practices like other salons. They do not wear gloves or routinely wash their hands. They were also terrible toward my friend as they kept yanking her arm rudely to get her to stay still when she has muscle spasms. All in all? I will never return to this salon. read more

Come here everytime I need my nails done but no matter what time I make my appointment for I'm constantly waiting for my nails to be done! talking is one thing but sitting and complaining about their jobs is another or just chitchatting instead of working on the nails while they have people waiting for their appointment out the door. Every single time the start someone and then send them to a chair with no one there to wait for someone to be available! My appointment today was at 6 after not only having to schedule with someone new from the revolving staff but also being completely unavailable for any other time, it is now 6:40 and the woman that was supposed to do them just had the women wash her hands. i got my nails done for vacation. i had 2 separate people do my nails. one for the acrylics and another for the design. thank God I had 2 people though because the guy that did my acrylics made them super crooked. the design is beautiful but i ended up paying $65 for crooked nails read more

I had been recommended this salon above all others in the area. My experience was very different. I live in Los Angeles and have Mani/Pedis regularly. I booked a Mani/Pedi for 2.30 today and was told that it would cost $42.00. I was surprised as this was a 1/3rd more expensive than I am used to paying in LA but I thought that if they do an exceptional job, then as I wanted to pamper myself, it will be worth it. They said that they couldn't guarantee that it could be done at the same time but would do their best and said that I would be out of the salon by 3.30 in order to get to my next appointment. I arrived at 2.25 signed in and noticed that I was the only person on the list who had prebooked, the remainder of the list were walk ins. I was shown to a pedicure station, which was filled with water and I was told that my therapist was just doing "some tips" and would be with me very soon. By 2.45 no one had come near me and yet I saw, what eventually turned out to be my therapist, checking her phone and chatting with another technician. When I finally caught someone's attention the technician finally came over and I told her that I had been waiting for 20 minutes & needed to be out of the salon by 3.30. She said that it would probably be closer to 3.40 and was that OK. As I had no choice, I said yes it would be. She then talked to other technicians during my pedicure and stopped work during the conversations. Eventually, I said that I needed my manicure to be done immediately to speed up the drying process and risk of ruining them on the journey to my next destination. I was moved to a manicure station and she began. I asked for a fan to dry them. She found one which she dropped and it came apart. She asked another technician if this was a fan and was told that it was only for gel nails !!!! Surely, if she was qualified she should have know that ? By the time, I was finally finished it was 3.50, I was very stressed and said I needed to pay. They told me it would be $45.00. I said that was not was I was quoted on the phone which was $42.00 and that was what I was prepared to pay. There followed a conversation with another technican after which she disappeared, I went to the front to ask what was going on was told that she had left to find the owner to clarify the amount. The technician came back and said it was OK. I paid the amount without a tip and finally left. l can honestly say that I have never had such a STRESSFUL experience in a nail salon before. The Mani/Pedi was OK but not wonderful and clearly not worth the money. The establishment is VERY badly run. My advice to anyone considering going here would be 1. do not make an appointment because the time is not honored 2.only go if you have plenty of time to spare 3. go only if you have want to have a mediocre Mani/Pedi and want to be overcharged for this service. They don't really talk to you or anything it's kind of awkward and quite also my friend was waiting for like an hour to get her nails painted. read more

They do decent work but don't bother to make an appointment. They don't honor your appointment time whatsoever. The owner doesn't care at all about the clients. I guess that's business though. read more
