The product line we looked at was a solid, mid-level cabinets and very affordable. I ended up working with a contractor who, of course had his own local cabinet person, and it was part of the package and price we agreed to. Candidly I think Adam's cabinets are better. But The contractor was pretty insistent that we use his guy otherwise he wasn't going to be responsible for that aspect of the project which wasn't in our best interest.

My wife and I met with Adam Eiland after being initiated to the process after visiting some big box stores and the previously mentioned competitor. While the cabinets are good/great, the service and effort that Adam exhibited was phenomenal. Adam worked cumulatively hours on our design, he improved the project after every iteration. While I am reasonable handy, I do not do kitchen renovation as a living, Adam does and because of his experience our final results no not look like a DIYer did it. What I am referring to is the little extras that Adam knew were available and how these small touches would impact the final results. If you are thinking of renovations and cabinets are going to be a component you should probably give Adam/Cabinets Direct ISA a call. You get what you pay for here.

Mike did a great job with our kitchen layout, Glenn and Don communicated well and the installers did a great job. The installers have excellent craftsmanship and are genuinely nice guys; they want you to be happy with the final product. Our job was finished in Aug 2021. We are happy with the final product and our kitchen looks great. A few items to note: 1. Mike is an awesome designer and nice guy but we needed to chase multiple times to get our plans after our deposit was paid. Mike had to personally drive over to get plans to us for a meeting with our general contractor which added additional stress. Communication and follow up could be improved. 2. Get installation costs in writing in your contract to avoid the actual cost being over what was verbally communicated. We ultimately arrived in a good place but the back and forth on this added stress. Would recommend HK&B.

BUYER BEWARE -- The Closet Butler is dishonest, rude, and unreliable. If you want a closet that's…read moresturdy for more than a few months (or even a year), do not do business with them. I own a condo in Jersey City. About 10 months after installation, the hanging rod in my primary bedroom closet collapsed, leaving my clothes on the floor. When I called, they said the earliest repair appointment was a month out. Even though I was frustrated, I asked them to send a replacement rod so I could try to fix it myself in the meantime. The rod they sent was too short, so I couldn't even hire someone to repair it -- I had no choice but to wait for their appointment. When the owner finally came out, he initially questioned what I was saying because he claimed it matched the original specs. But once he looked, he realized I was right -- the rod was too short. He stayed briefly, left the parts scattered around my room, and even asked me for my own toolbox, then said he had to leave for a doctor's appointment and promised to reschedule. After that, he later claimed I missed two follow-up appointments. That is simply not true. I live in a luxury condo building with 24/7 surveillance, and no one from his team showed up, rang my Butterfly/intercom, or contacted me. Everything is on camera -- no one came. And now today, after calling to ask why no one showed up again, he's suddenly demanding a $150 repair fee in February--after coming on 11/24 without the proper parts to fix it in the first place. The fact that he's willing to lie when I have everything documented on video is unbelievable. At this point, it seems like the fix may cost more than he's willing to absorb, so he avoids completing the job and blames the customer. Honestly, it also doesn't seem like he knows how to properly fix the work himself. Bottom line: if you want your closet to be sturdy and professionally installed, don't shop with The Closet Butler.

The rod they installed was too short for a true wall-to-wall fit, and when we asked them to come fix it, they gave us a ridiculous excuse and made us wait two months. When they finally showed up, they claimed it was fixed....only for the rod to fall again two days later. After waiting another month, they sent us a replacement rod that was the exact same length as the first one. We've been waiting for a real response ever since, with nowhere to put our clothes and having to wear the same outfits because everything is piled up. The owner and workers at this company are unresponsive, inconsiderate, and absolutely not worth your money.
