I did all my shopping online and then went to the warehouse for pick-up. So I can't comment on any of the showroom issues or installation issues that others had problems with. In my case, I knew the tile I wanted -- in order to match the reno of a second bathroom to the reno of a first bathroom. The store I had bought from for the first reno didn't have the tile in stock, so I shopped around for another source and found Wayne Tile online. I put in an inquiry through the Wayne website and worked with Kyle by email. He was vey responsive, offered a great price, gave me options for delivery or pick-up, and made sure the tile was pulled and ready for pick-up. Pick-up was effortless. I needed porcelain tile for my bathroom renovation and my sister recommended this place. There is plenty of parking in the lot. Inside, they have a very large multi story space in with a countless number of options. We were approached by salesman Dan, who showed us many options and ideas. We were looking for a wood plank style porcelain tile for the floor and we found it in the second floor. After we settled on the wall tiles, he gave us samples to take home. The rest of our correspondence was through e-mail, exchanging square footage and elevation drawings for quotes. After some back and forth we settled on the price and I approved the order. The order was ready to be picked up the next day so I went and paid. Then the pickup was located around the back at their warehouse. Everyone's order was shrinkwrapped and laid on wood palettes. The guy got mine down with a forklift and then helped unpack and unload them off the palette and helped carry them into my car trunk. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. We bought the bath tile, picked it up, installed it and then realized some of it was a slightly different color which we did not notice due to the temporary lighting being used during the installation. Turns out some of it was the wrong product. We went back to the store and they did not want to help us resolve the problem. We had to drive to the distribution location to pick up the replacement tile while the contractor was removing what he had installed. Oh, they also wanted us to pay for the replacement tile which we did not do. We should be billing them for picking up the product from their warehouse and paying the contractor to do the same job twice. read more

i went to the sussex county store looking for 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 tile for a repair project of my bath, as it is nearby, we waited for close to a 1/2 hour to be helped, well that wait should have told me to leave, the young girl was no help, neither was the young male, got told that is no longer made, try this place or that place, the adhesive and tube grout i needed was over priced by a third , they as i was told don't have fast dry adhesive or premixed grout items i was told to go up the road to the lumber company for well just for wayne to know! They have a really nice selection of beautiful tiles and I was hoping to purchase floor tile and wall tile for my bathroom and kitchen remodel. Unfortunately, the sales people just ignored me as I walked around their store. One salesperson was on her cell phone . I walked out and not because they didn't have what I wanted, but because of their lack of customer service. Poor Quality - Unreliable & Unprofessional We recently hired Wayne Tile(Hamburg Location) to replace all the flooring in our 1200 square foot vacation home. The job consisted of removal of the current carpet/tile & replacing with new carpet/tile while moving all furniture within the home. We chose to go with Wayne Tile based off online reviews we had read as well as a review from the previous homeowner and after the AWFUL experience we had, I am documenting our experience so others are aware what it was like trusting Wayne Tile to complete this work. First, the company committed to completing the job within 5 days. It took them over 2 weeks to complete the job because of various issues(which I will cover in detail). After the initial five days, we were told the job was completed after speaking to Wayne(of Wayne Tile). We drove to the property to see the finished product and when we walked in we found all the furniture in the home stacked on top of each other in the master bedroom. Dressers, end tables etc. all stacked on top of each other haphazardly with no padding/drop clothes etc. put down to ensure the furniture was protected. When I called the company to understand what was going on, I was again told the job was completed and it was only AFTER I reiteratedwhat I was looking at in front of me did Wayne admit that he had actually been on vacation the prior day and was not sure the job was completed as initially told. As we continued our inspection, we grew increasingly frustrated as the walls were scuffed/marked and even damaged. Prior to the installation of the floors the entire condo had been re-painted and Wayne ensured us multiple times they would exhibit EXTRA care. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of this endeavor was the complete dismissive behavior repeated by Wayne and the company. When we approached Wayne about the scuffs his response was "well it is expected there will be some damage when moving furniture." This was the supposed "Extra Care" and Quality we were promised initially but now the substandard quality/care was supposed to be accepted by a consumer paying a substantial amount of money for their products/services. Wayne promised that he would address with the installation crew the next day and we returned to the condo a few days later to again a "supposed finished product." What we found upon this inspection was that the carpet was not properly tacked down at all of the transition points from tile to carpet and were coming up/frayed before we even had stepped foot in the home. I could literally slide my hand under the carpet where it met the tile - it was not even remotely tacked down. Again, calling Wayne we were told he was not at the final inspection but was assured by his son it was all done correctly - however here we stood two weeks in with poor quality and a still unfinished product that now required additional visits to properly install the flooring. I cannot stress to you how unhappy my wife and I were with the complete dismissive attitude of Wayne and the inability to properly install the flooring and deliver the proper service. There was no accountability throughout the project, which was cemented by the fact that Wayne, the man in charge, was not at any of the final inspections of his crews work. In order to see the project through to completion it took multiple thorough inspections by my wife and I, repeated calls to Wayne Tile requiring them to return to fix items and ultimately additional cost having to re-hire the painting crew to come and fix the dings/dents in the walls and the scrapes on the custom cabinets in the kitchen. I have owned multiple properties, taken on multiple flooring projects and have never been treated as poorly and seen such low quality work as we experienced with Wayne Tile. I would not recommend Wayne Tile to anyone under any circumstance. read more

Came here when they had their tent sale. They started on Thursday and ended on Saturday and got some real bargain. One must come early to get the good stuff ... and the good ones sold really fast. The staff was friendly and helpful, even some were definitely more knowledgeable than the others.. seek them out and they could really make a different in your design. What a life saver !! The place I ordered tiles from told me last minute that my tiles would not be in. In desperation, I went to Wayne tile and it ended up being a blessing. They had a larger selection, better pricing and most of their tiles in stock in their warehouse. The staff was extremely friendly too and answered all my questions. Truly a life saver. If I could give Wayne Tile a negative ten, I would. In the 30+ years I have lived in Wayne, I have visited the Wayne location at least four different times. Their customer service is nonexistent and the selection of tiles and displays are lacking. Visited today and there were at least six people sitting and chatting. We were in the store a minimum of fifteen minutes and not one person (young and very old) asked if we had questions or needed help. If I had wanted to buy tile today, I would not have. The service shouldn't start and stop with the sale. I honestly do lot know how they stay in business. Will never go again! read more

I have seen Tile heaven! Seriously, this is the largest selection of tile that I have ever seen. I was helped by a salesperson within a couple of minutes of walking in. He helped me find the perfect tile. The store I went to is on Route 23 and the first floor is full of samples. The upstairs was great because they had display areas with many, many different types of tiles. I chose to go to the warehouse to pick up my tile. The place is massive and there lies their success. They had stock of probably every tile in the showroom. It was great not to have to make a second trip back to pick up my tile. The only negative I found in the experience is the lack of courtesy with the staff at the warehouse. They filled the order, but could have been a bit friendlier. read more

Me and the wife went here out of recommendation from our contractor. We had no idea where to start and needed help. We had a younger girl come up to us and totally wanted nothing to do with us. Basically said "Find something you like then I will talk with you". We walked around however were lost due to the immense selection. People saw us lost and didn't care or asked to help. For someone who has no idea where to start or they need design help, stay far away from this place. Very unprofessional salespeople that are not helpful. I LOVE WayneTile I have been dealing with them for many years and Rich who is now in the discount center couldn't be more helpful and awesome. Be Aware i was Told by my General Contractor who is doing my entire Addition that i needed to only go to wayne tile for my tiles for my three Bathrooms being done. And i would pay his price which was discounted. I got prices from wayne tile before using my contractors name just to see the difference. Then when we used my Contractors name it did save me a little money. But even with the contractors price wayne tile was charging me i took it upon myself to check out another tile store in the area on Rt 17 in Ramsey called the tile king and i took my samples from wayne tile to them and they were able to match exactly each tile up and gave me a price of nearly half my so called contractors price? and the tile was exact brand and everything Not sure if the contractor was trying to make a profit on me on the tile or that wayne tile is that much more expensive. But Definitely worth the trip to the tile king store for the savings and Don't always trust what your Contractor Says. read more
