Mom needed extra care after her high blood pressure soared and our doctor was able to connect us with Luxe Homecare. They are very professional, on top of their clients needs and most importantly, their nurses are amazing! LESLIE LINET is such a great nurse. We needed transportation to get from our home to the doctors office. Luxe provided a perfect solution. They sent over a van & driver & stair climbing wheel chair! The driver arrived on time and brought the climbing wheelchair into the house, & up the stairs. We then loaded the patient into the chair, and watched him roll the wheelchair & patient down the stairs, and then out to the van. We also needed another wheel chair to navigate once inside the doctors office, which I had rented and brought it along. When we go the the doctors office the driver parked in the underground parking lot, and put the patient into our wheelchair and went with us the the doctors office on the upper floor. From there we went into the office, and had our visit. The driver waited for us and we went back to the van in the garage, and put the patient into the van, and drove us back to our home. The driver helped me walk the patient into the house, and helped me take patient up the stairs, (stair climbing wheelchair not needed going up), and into the bedroom. This entire experience was amazing, and I told Luxe we would use them and recommend them highly. read more

My mother has lived in Pacific Palisades for almost 40 years. Over a year ago she became very ill and had to be hospitalized and then had to stay in a Rehabilitation Center for almost a month. Before she left Rehab the issue of being cared for came up and this was an area we were forced to explore. It was evident that she was frail, needed physical therapy and other support services. She was given some counseling and had to make choices. This was all very new to her and to our family. The Rehab Center informed all of us about Assisted Living set-ups as well as agencies that provide Homecare. She decided she wanted to try Homecare because she missed being at home so much. It was the place with her piano, art work, books , pictures and memories of her family life and work. So far that turned out to be a wise decision. What was not so easy was getting the right agency that could provide the match of caregiver(s) that could could help her with the struggles she faced. It took a while to sort that out. And surprisingly, it was my Mom came up with the answer. She remembered that she had met Fay Vadani, the owner of Luxe Homecare professionally a few years ago and liked her very much. (My mother, like Fay, was active in the community. ) She also remembered that Fay owned a Homecare agency right in the Palisades area. So we encouraged her to contact Fay. Fay came to visit my Mom and listened to what she wanted and needed. And so began my mother's journey to better health and support . She was sent caregivers that were caring and compassionate. I am still pregnant as my records in their office should show. This has continued to be quite a ridiculous ordeal. Between the business owners harassment over an honest review and the letter from their attorney that was incredibly unprofessional, demeaning, and basically was someone just calling me names.... this has gone too far. I stand by my review. Every word is true. I refused to be bullied into taking it down because I'm concerned that my experience is not unusual and they have bullied others to remove their reviews. The threats and continued harassment have added so much stress on top of an already complicated pregnancy. I put up an honest review and they have not stopped the harassment since. How irresponsible to do on the part of a HEALTH care provider to a women that is pregnant let alone one going through a HIGH RISK pregnancy. I highly recommend Luxe for services to the elderly. When my 94 year old father moved in with us, I needed to find part time help. A friend recommended Luxe and that has been a lifesaver to me. My helping Dad in the shower just made him mad but he appreciates the help from all of the Luxe caregivers we've had. They help him shower, shave and dress. They will fix breakfast for him when needed. They are very professional and patient with him. He has moderate dementia and loves to talk about the past. This review is way past due. I wanted to just say how much of a LIFE SAVER THIS HOME HEALTH AGENCY IS. Luxe helped me with my grandma after she came home from having surgery. Nurse Roxanne came to our home the day after she was discharged and she was extremely professional. She helped teach us how to take care of our family member after the surgery she had. My grandma benefited tremendously from physical therapy and the home exercise program that she did. After 8 weeks, she was able to do outpatient therapy. Luxe transportation has excellent drivers for their seniors and I am very happy with their services. I just learned that they have opened a hospice department so it is something that we would consider in the future if we needed them. Simply put, Luxe has been a lifesaver. We needed part time care for my mom about 4 years ago, and I saw the great reviews of Luxe on Yelp. Was a plus that the office was very close by. Faye came to the house, was very professional and helped my mother feel more comfortable with the arrangement during her initial assessment. We had part-time care for a few years, and then mom's condition required full time help. Originally, we added a second agency for overnight coverage as it was cheaper. Well, you get what you pay for. The second agency owner was argumentative, and dishonest on a number of occasions. Ultimately, made the decision to discontinue with this second agency over concerns about the agency's adherence to labor laws (be SURE to review this... I found out that despite using an agency, the family is co-liable as a co-employer). Anyway, we went full-time with Luxe last Fall and I have not regretted the decision. In addition to Faye, Stephanie and Ben are amazing. They proactively reach out to me with any staff changes or billing issues, and are exceptionally pleasant. The main kudos go to the caregivers. We've had one primary caregiver for three years and she treats my mom like family. I trust her entirely. The other caregivers have been great. Trained, pleasant, conscientious, and treat my mom with loving care. Yes, the cost is more, but the peace of mind is worth it. I recommend Luxe Home Care without reservation. read more

I am writing this for the outstanding Luxe therapists that helped my family members back to life. My grandfather was discharged from the hospital after sustaining a pretty bad fall. Thankfully he had no fracture, however he was extremely weak and had a couple of pretty large skin tears that needed to be taken care of. The nurses that came to see him were prepared and taught us how to take care of his wounds and even gave us supplies!! The occupational therapist helped him regain strength in his upper body. On one of the last therapy sessions, we did an exercise that I thought was very helpful and important. We re-enacted the fall, and the therapist taught my grandfather how to get up from the floor using the strength from his arm and legs. Thank you Luxe! read more
