I arrived a little early and was warmly greeted. My nail tech, Melissa, was just finishing with the client at her station and let me know it would be a few minutes, which I fully expected. When I got into the chair, the water temp was perfect, the chair was comfy, and the conversation was pleasant. Melissa did a great job on my feet - I felt so pampered! And, on an upcoming trip to Arizona, I was able to comfortably and confidently wear sandals because my toes were so cute! I will 100% go back to see Melissa again. In fact, knowing I have a go-to tech at a clean, comfortable salon may encourage me to do so more often.

As with anything some technicians are better than others. The technician I used to like the best in the past has left. For the most part they seem "bored" and don't try overly hard to do a good job. Also, when you book online the price that is quoted is not the price you get charged. I booked a "deluxe pedicure" and the description online said gel polish was included. I got charged an extra $10.00 for the gel at checkout. Could I have argued? yes, but it wasn't worth arguing over it so I just paid it and left. I always tip them too, even though they're mediocre. I've been there enough that I feel like they'd be more mediocre if I didn't tip. I feel like it used to be nicer here and now it's low average.

I'm always a bit nervous going to new nail salons because I have had some bad experiences, however I needed something! I found Alist nails on YELP and I was welcomed when I entered and the salon was clean. I was able to get a shellac manicure in about 30 minutes and it looks great. The one tip I have - they do not let you tip on credit cards HOWEVER they do have a "fee free" ATM that is located right next to the reception desk if you are needing some cash to tip.
