I just feel like the microderm was set extremely low, because I didnt even need any time after to recoup, but also have a ton of experience in places getting microderm. I hope its set based per client. Sweet girl for the most part, kind of shy a little awkward but she just opened, I could tell she was new and being extremely gentle, Im not saying thats good or bad, it kind of pleases the average client, but I need a little more. Maybe ask if pressures good etc. I had to mention upgrades, or ask what else I could have added. Of course nobody wants to be upsold by pressure, but I even asked while setting the appointment. I have some ideas but I wont share them. I ended up adding the eye treatment which I highly suggest. Also the addon prices are somewhat fair, but 40$ for 15 mins of micro addon better be at least 3 passes. I feel like a few should also be thrown into regular treatments. For example, high frequency should come with a facial signature or antiaging. However, although I am naturally fair/beige, I tan up really well and that's why I love spray tans to bring out that golden glow. After showering this morning, I am not happy and feel like my tan looks (eek) orange. Here's my list of what could be improved compared to other spray tanning experiences: - Disposable undies: Small thing, but I wore my own pair (that I liked) and with a thick strap. And no, I did not want to go commando for the tan. - Barrier Cream: Even with a custom tan, every place I've gone to has used cream for the palms and soles. I figured she was just that good, but now I have lines where my wrist meets my palm and where my ankle meets my foot. - Different colors: At previous places, they have a light shade and dark shade. I'm not sure if she has both, but I said I wanted a natural looking tan and I feel like I turned out too dark, especially on my legs. - Contouring: I didn't ask, but normally the spray tanner asks if you would like any areas contoured. I felt like everything was rushed anyways, so I was just bummed she didn't take extra time to ask. - Payment Options: She told me she took card, cash, and check so I went to the ATM beforehand to get money and then she didn't have change for me, so I wasn't happy to use a card when I already had money out. Again it was not a terrible experience, but I am going to special event and I don't feel confident. Luckily, it will fade beforehand but I also want other potential clients to know exactly what they are getting into.

I give the lower rating because my tan came out very very light. I am an experienced tanner and I generally go very deep on myself, and love a bronzed glow if I self tan at home. I did medium which was recommended for me and rinsed (with no soap) in the 3hrs, as I was told to. I followed all the rules, but once I rinsed and allowed the tan develop into the next day, I barely had a glow and was really really disappointed by the depth and color of my tan. I was underwhelmed and felt like I completely wasted my money. The medium tan came out as if I chose light. It was barely noticeable and I did not feel like a bronzed summer goddess for my trip. No one around me even knew I went and tanned. I wished I had left it on much longer than recommended for it to develop deeper. Because of this, my "baby glow" only lasted about 2-3 days of my 8 day vacation. By the beginning of my trip I was pale again. I used the recommended soaps and did everything I was supposed to, NO DOVE. But the whole point of me paying so much money for a spray tan rather than doing it myself with a tanning mit at home, was the hope that it would last longer than store bought, and it did not. Because of this I feel that I paid way too much for something that only lasted a few days.
