I had tried a number of places (in Kalispell) last summer while I was here and left disappointed every time. Made an appointment with Savannah for a Thursday afternoon, about an hour and a half before my appointment she called and said her previous appointment hadn't shown and if I would like I could come in earlier. Thought that was very professional and kind. It's the cutest little shop at the end of town, very clean and well done. It's two techs the owner and Savannah. I have acrylics, usually do pink and whites but wanted an all over color. Explained to Savannah what I was looking for, I must say I am super impressed. She was quick but not sloppy very meticulous with her work. She was engaging, intelligent and just sweet as can be. Had a great conversation the whole time! I am so happy to have stumbled upon this shop, especially being new to the area and not having recommendations to rely on. I love my nails she really did an amazing job. Went in on a blustery wintery day. Due to being largely pregnant, it was getting to the point where…read moreI couldn't do my own pedicure. I called and got in to see Savannah, who was able to heal my heels and soothe my toes. I picked a nice blue gel nail polish because well I had to put my winter socks and Sorels back on in order to go home and how could I do very well do that after receiving a pedi? Did the trick and the gel held up really well. The blue is beautiful, not to be confused with frostbite toes. On this very cold and snowy day, it was not busy, with one other customer in the other room getting nails done by Kelly herself. During the summer, apparently it's soooo busy with usually tourists, which is good. Sometimes they have to turn people away because it's just too much. A family run business, the decor is cozy and homey. The massage chair was not really in good working order and basically just hummed and vibrated and did not massage at all. I'm sure these chairs are very expensive but would be a nice thing to upgrade. The location is great, on the north edge of Nucleus and easy to find parking in the private lot. As a local, I would say that OhKelly's is a great place to go to get away and especially I found it fun on a cold wintery day but would be just as happy getting a pedi for a day at the Lake paddle boarding in my Tevas. Sure, it's a pretty penny, you'd save more going to Kalispell, but who wants to do that? And, it's Montana, not a big city, where there are at least two nail salons per strip mall. You'll pay for it and be happy.
