We asked her to photograph our parents and us (their children and families) for their 50th wedding anniversary. There were 6 adults and 6 kids ages 1-13, and she captured many great photos with different groupings of our families, incorporating ideas from kids and adults alike. Her comment that "Mom and dad always want a picture with just their kids" inspired a favorite portrait moment. And her time alone with our parents on a peer resulted in several frame-able anniversary moments. When we had the newborn session, Renee has a waiting area that has a tv, snacks, drinks, and a couch. She encouraged us to relax and nap if we wanted (having a newborn is tiring.) We scheduled a session with Sarah, the owner, when our son was just a few weeks old. Of course, during the session, the baby wanted to eat again and our toddler wanted to run around. It was chaos but Sarah didn't flinch and got some beautiful photos. Our recent photo shoot was a family shoot on the beach. It was amazing! We got some great posed shots, but Sarah lives up to her calling as a photographer of life. She caputred the kids playing, enjoying the ocean and really stamped the moments in time.
