The shoot felt really rushed and Ivan never gave us any direction on how to pose to get better shots. I was hopeful that he was getting good photos without posing us and withheld judgement until we got the photos back from him. He sent me around 70 photos from the shoot, which were supposed to be the best shots after he had gone through and retouched them. The photos were all horrible, in more than a dozen my son was crying, several had one of the three of us looking away from the camera, and in a whole series of them my shirt was more than halfway unbuttoned, something Ivan never mentioned to me as he took us between locations to shoot, so none of those pictures he was taking at those locations along the beach would have been usable to begin with. and these were supposed to be the photos he hand selected and retouched! When I told Ivan that we were seriously displeased with the photos he told me he'd usually give a refund for a photoshoot that didn't work out, but not in our case because he thought that a lot of the photos were great.

We scheduled a session with Sarah, the owner, when our son was just a few weeks old. Of course, during the session, the baby wanted to eat again and our toddler wanted to run around. It was chaos but Sarah didn't flinch and got some beautiful photos. Our recent photo shoot was a family shoot on the beach. It was amazing!
